After 86 hours-10 minutes of accumulative game time, 952 saves in a span of year and a half, I finally - legitimately - finished my Darkside K1 playthrough -- [!Spoiler Alert!] I've got mixed feelings about it, lol. I feel awesome, proud, crazy - all things 'bout, as this was the first time I finished the game legitimately; without skipping any of the dialogues, doing most of the side-quests and also - do most of the walking! Yeah, if not because ZimmMaster's Movement Animation Fix for both KOTOR and TSL I'd definitely not doing that, lol. So many mods from fellow modders I have used with the playthrough -- namely DarthParametric's, JCarter426's, Sithspecter's, Kexikus', Dark Hope's, xander2077's, VarsityPuppet's, Sith Holocron's, Inyri Forge's, jc2's, and I'm sure pretty much everyone I have used theirs -or at the very least, tested- on my end. I have to thanked them a lot for their awesome work which I learned along from as I did the playthrough. And If you're interested on seeing some of them in action while also following the journey you can take a look here at The Playthrough gallery. And not to forget I had to thanked the modding tools authors, namely Fred Tetra, TK102, stoffe, bead-v, ndix UR, Fair Strides, and anyone that is not mentioned - I am grateful to you all. So, what I've been waiting for all this time - as the next step will be playing TSL [legit for the first time - as earlier runs was me just running around the module and mod their stuffs], and if things went well then I will take a break this week to contemplate on what mods I will use with the playthrough - aside of TSLRCM and K2CP that comes in mind firstly. But I'd surely take different approach in how I will play it compares to K1. With previous K1-playthrough everytime I saw something that I don't like [or broken] I tend to go and fix them. Now I will enjoy TSL as-TSLRCM-K2CP-is and mind about my nitpick later. I think that pretty much sums it - and above all that I'll have to thanked The Almighty Force - which gave me chance to finish the playthrough, and both BioWare & LucasArts for developing one of -if not- the best RPG I've ever played. The game's awesome, many ups-and-downs - I like how I can blend with the main character and feels like I'm them. Granted, some of the player's response wasn't the best in the world but I am passionate on how the game was paced. All said and done - many thanks to you that have been reading this, and may the Force serve you well! -eb P.S. also on this break I will take a chance to review some of the mods I have used and do things that I should have done back then, lol [mod updates, patch-requests etc.]

Quite an enjoyable addon to the game. Would be worth installing as an endgame trial to determine how powerful your character truly is. Very challenging!

Challenging. Immersive. & Enjoyable. For those that find the Undercity or the Sewers to be boring, sluggish, or easy. Ebmar has managed to breathe new life into the zone by "restoring" this NPC and giving it a new look. It is terrifying and powerful, and can easily be distinguished from other rakghouls allowing for tactical targeting. The change in size was an outstanding concept and feels very unique without seeming un-immersive. This will increase the difficulty slightly for each engagement, but if you have an accompanying difficulty.2da mod may result terrifying encounters with large predators and their poisoned tipped claws!

I finally got a chance to install this and begin a playthrough with this mod. I took ebmar's advice and installed it alongside ShemL's mod & JCarter's mod. The game sounds beautiful and dynamic. The vanilla force SFX can be overused and if you've played through the game over 5 times, may become irritating. Ebmar's Force Powers Sound Pack diversifies the sound being heard and amplifies the feeling of power behind using the force. The enhanced SFXs add to the immersive feeling of being a Jedi or Sith. Star Wars relies on SFX for crafting an immersive experience. Ebmar has built upon that legacy to bring an authentic and powerful sound pack to re-engage players with kotor!

Ha! 86 hours! 952 saves! I'm glad you were able to have so much fun with the game and very much enjoyed the mods that resulted from it. Especially, Selven & Rakghoul Fiend & Janice Nall mods. I look forward to seeing what ideas you come up with for TSL!

If I may chime in about the flag. I don't think it's actually the design that's the issue but the fabric texture. A hanging flag would never fold that way as it looks more like a slightly crumpled bedsheet or something but definetly not like something hanging on a wall. And the logo isn't following the folds either so that looks pasted on and thus further increases the unrealistic look. Many of your other screenshots look amazing though. I especially like Onderon. Great job on that one.

This mod overhauls the appearance and attributes of Rakghoul Fiend; an alpha ghoul found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers which seem was intended to have an unique demeanor with them. # Background # When facing the Rakghouls in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, I noticed that few of the raks named as Rakghoul Fiend but I saw nothing unique about them. Well, thought that they need an unique demeanor with them; hence the fruits of labor then. # About this Mod # This modification makes unique appearance for the Rakghoul Fiends [complete with their own unique sound-sets] found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, and also bump their attributes by an reasonable imbalance amount. Well, I didn't include a vanilla patch - guess you'll have to deal with them, luls. One aspects of uniqueness from them is they had their body upscaled for ~+20% with different looks compared to the generic ones. Few elements of this v1.0 skin; like the red eye - was inspired from Trex's "The Jedi Masters" Rakghoul, nuff-said - credits to Trex for make it happened. # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: replace the installed files with what was stored inside the generated 'Backup' folder. Particularly tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod; put these files to the 'modules' folder manually and overwrite when prompted. Also, by keeping the installog after the installation will help you to track which files goes to where. Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything - only make sure to install this mod after every mods has. Though haven't being tested with Kainzorus Prime's "[KotOR] NPC Overhaul Mod" and N-DReW25's "K1 Gameplay Improvement" installed, presumably they'll be compatible. But be advised that compatibility issue of this mod working along with them is not yet confirmed. Will not be compatible with any mods that force-overrides tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod or messing with this mod 2DA entries. For this mod to be effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Undercity [tar_m04aa] and the Lower Sewers [tar_m05aa] module The mod is play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and K1:Community Patch/K1CP installed and is compatible with them Redistribution: for this particular full-version, I'm asking you not to redistribute them - I'd like to stay in touch with so I know where to provide supports. With initial release which is v0.8; I grant permission to redistribute them with usual policy applies. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up to, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. An appreciation to this lil' peasant here is also a very warm welcome, welcome.
