WARNING: 11/29/22 - It appears that the "big" font size category is causing crashes for people attempting to open certain lockboxes in the Taris Undercity. Other sizes, such as "verybig", are unaffected. I will be working to recreate and fix this issue over the weekend. For now, I recommend players either choose a size that isn't "big" or uninstall this mod until the issue is resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience! Have you tried playing KOTOR 1 at high resolution? Then you may have noticed the text does not scale properly. As a result, text can look embarassingly small. Fortunately, this mod contains an assortment of font files that the game can use. They are organized by various sizes with the 3 kinds of text the game uses; they are also interchangeable! Using these files should give players an easier time when playing in high resolutions, customizable to everyone's needs. Hopefully everyone who wishes to play KOTOR 1 in high resolution will have a more enjoyable experience, and that one of the more common problems facing the community has been properly addressed. The attached file is a compressed archive that contains a ReadMe file, and a folder containing each set of fonts. READ THE README FILE BEFORE INSTALLING! The ReadMe contains an important explanation of what each font folder is, and instructions as to how to properly install the mod. Improper installation could lead to very unreadable text! DISCLAIMERS: You will NOT be able to see small numbers, the count of grenades for example, via the HUD. This is a problem with the game itself & how it handles larger text inside smaller HUD elements; I am unable to fix this. The game is simply too old and we don't have access to its source code (yet). This mod is NOT compatible with KOTOR 2 TSL. This mod only exclusively works with KOTOR 1. If you are using the Steam or Mobile versions of KOTOR 2, you shouldn't be experiencing this problem anyways. As far as I know, there are no compatibility issues with other mods. However, if you come across any problems or something not working as intended, please let me know here or via my Discord: Xela#6419 If you are only playing the game at 1080p or less, this mod may not be necessary. Text only stops scaling up to 1080p resolution (as far as I know). It's possible this mod will only cause issues if you play the game at less than 1080p resolution. These fonts were NOT my creation! They were found and extracted from the Russian 🇷🇺 version of KOTOR which inexplicably has larger fonts with a variety of sizes, on top of being able to work in English as well. I was also not the first person to discover these files, that credit belongs to user Drazgar! https://deadlystream.com/profile/44945-drazgar/ I do not claim these files to be my own, I simply uploaded them here to share with the community after not finding them anywhere else. -
1 pointView File K2Console - A Console For KOTOR 2 DESCRIPTION This is a little tool that mimics the visible console from K1, in TSL. It's written in Python (I've attached the source code below). IMPORTANT NOTES - The tool does not work in fullscreen mode (for now). I'd like to fix this in the future, but for now it only works in windowed mode. - The tool doesn't connect to TSL at all - it's completely separate. This means that (for example) if you open the console in TSL with tilde, and then alt-tab out of TSL and press tilde again, K2Console will detect this but TSL itself won't (meaning K2Console and TSL will be out of sync). - If you get out of sync and/or want to start the program again, you can type "xxxxx" (five x's in a row) into the console while it's open, which will close the program. Then just run the file "k2console.exe" and it'll start up again. No need to restart TSL (but make sure the TSL console is closed when you start K2Console, or you'll still be out of sync). - This program works by reading your keyboard inputs and storing them to memory, which is also one way a keylogger might work - so your anti-virus might identify it as such. This code does not connect to the internet at all (you can verify this for yourself if you like). I haven't included the source with the program package to avoid cluttering your TSL installation, but I included it as a separate download below. INSTALLATION Unzip all three files into the same folder as swkotor2.exe (i.e. C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\, or wherever your TSL installation is located). UNINSTALLATION Delete the three files "k2console.exe", "console.bat", and "steam_console.bat". INITIALIZATION If you use Steam: Instead of starting your game through Steam, you can start it by running the file "steam_console.bat", located in your TSL install folder. Otherwise: Start the game by running "console.bat", again located in your TSL install folder. USAGE - Whenever you press ` to open the console in TSL, the mimic console should pop up too. I tried my best to exactly match the behavior of the TSL console (e.g. when it keeps text vs clears it), but if you find any discrepancies please let me know so I can fix them. - If I did my job, you shouldn't really be able to tell that the console's not built into TSL, so just use it as normal (with the ability to see what you wrote!) - To close the program (not TSL, just the console), type "xxxxx" (5 x's in a row) into the open console (this won't work if the console's not visible). Alternatively, you can close the command line that opens when you run the .bat file. INCLUSION IN OTHER MODS I'm not sure why you'd want to include this in other mods, but if you want to, you're welcome to do so with appropriate attribution. CREDITS Thanks to Thor110 for the idea for this tool, and for helping out with testing and ideas (as well as taking the screenshot for me). k2console.py Submitter lachjames Submitted 05/31/2020 Category Modding Tools

I liked the style of the Original Sith Mask in KOTOR but it's resolution was so low. This is nothing too fancy, I just upscaled it and used some texture and color effects to make it look slightly better imo. My intention was to keep the vanilla feel of the Original Sith Mask but improve it. This mod will work for both KOTOR & KOTOR 2 without needing to change the name of the file. It's really simple. Installation: Drop the file into the override of either game. Compatibility: It is compatible with anything that does not change the default sith mask. If you have a mod that changes the default sith mask, this mod will override it. -
1 pointHi everyone I know a few of you have been asking about the status of the KotOR Level Editor (KLE) project. I'm happy to announce that it's finally ready for a (very early alpha) release. I've made the KotOR Level Editor GitHub page public - please remember it's in early alpha. That said, hope some of you find it useful Find the repo at https://github.com/lachjames/NorthernLights/ My goal is to post this to DeadlyStream in the near future, but for now you'll need to download and install it via GitHub. If you'd like to try it out, please follow the instructions on the linked GitHub page's README. Feel free to DM me, reply to this post, add an issue, etc. if you have issues. For those who are new to KLE, you can find an introductory video listing the features of KLE on YouTube (included below). There is also a (work in progress) KLE guide, as well as a general KotOR/TSL modding guide, at https://github.com/lachjames/KotOR-Modding-Guide Thanks everyone for your help - hopefully this is just a taste of what is to come regarding both KLE and the Northern Lights project in general - with the amount of support I've received so far from you all, there is no doubt in my mind that this is the case.

1 pointSeems someone at Disney realized The Bad Batch is at its best when it's telling the core story. The last two episodes were damn good.

Uploaded by permission of the author. Original KotORFiles review: "The most popular weapon from the Star Wars Saga even including the Expanded Universe that includes video games would be the lightsaber. It's a blade of pure energy. The blade colors are usually traditional based off of what your allegiance is. If you're a Jedi, you would traditionally carry a blue or a green blade. If you're a Sith, you traditionally carry a red blade. What usually makes a lightsaber unique is not the blade color, but the hilt in which the blade comes out of. Inyri Forge is back with a brand new hilt to play with in the original Knights of the Old Republic game. This particular hilt belonged to a Dark Jedi named Kane. He was a student at the Korriban Sith Academy. The design of the hilt is awesome indeed and will be a great addition to those who love playing the dark side of the Force. Remember Mika Dorin? He's that Rodian merchant who has 'Special Items' to sell. You can get the hilt there. It is an upgradable lightsaber. This mod does use the TSL Patcher to make changes to the upcrystals.2da file so the lightsaber will be upgradable. Enjoy the new hilt! big grin Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future. -Shem" Description Kane was a dark Jedi training at the Sith Academy on Korriban during the Jedi Civil War. His masters saw such promise in him that they rewarded him with this special Sith lightsaber, which contains engravings of a section of the Sith code. Shortly after Kane left the academy and the Sith entirely, though he kept the lightsaber for quite some time. Installation Instructions Extract the contents of the ZIP to a location on your hard drive, then run tslpatcher.exe and follow the patcher's instructions. -

This archive (both files combined) contains roughly 130 different save points throughout the entire game. savegames for TSL: The Sith Lords for PC UN-modded saves, so it should work for everyone's game LS Male Guardian / WeaponsMaster I understand that it may not have critical save points (this was near February 2006, so I can't remember exactly what's in the archive).. but it may help some of you out
