WARNING: 11/29/22 - It appears that the "big" font size category is causing crashes for people attempting to open certain lockboxes in the Taris Undercity. Other sizes, such as "verybig", are unaffected. I will be working to recreate and fix this issue over the weekend. For now, I recommend players either choose a size that isn't "big" or uninstall this mod until the issue is resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience! Have you tried playing KOTOR 1 at high resolution? Then you may have noticed the text does not scale properly. As a result, text can look embarassingly small. Fortunately, this mod contains an assortment of font files that the game can use. They are organized by various sizes with the 3 kinds of text the game uses; they are also interchangeable! Using these files should give players an easier time when playing in high resolutions, customizable to everyone's needs. Hopefully everyone who wishes to play KOTOR 1 in high resolution will have a more enjoyable experience, and that one of the more common problems facing the community has been properly addressed. The attached file is a compressed archive that contains a ReadMe file, and a folder containing each set of fonts. READ THE README FILE BEFORE INSTALLING! The ReadMe contains an important explanation of what each font folder is, and instructions as to how to properly install the mod. Improper installation could lead to very unreadable text! DISCLAIMERS: You will NOT be able to see small numbers, the count of grenades for example, via the HUD. This is a problem with the game itself & how it handles larger text inside smaller HUD elements; I am unable to fix this. The game is simply too old and we don't have access to its source code (yet). This mod is NOT compatible with KOTOR 2 TSL. This mod only exclusively works with KOTOR 1. If you are using the Steam or Mobile versions of KOTOR 2, you shouldn't be experiencing this problem anyways. As far as I know, there are no compatibility issues with other mods. However, if you come across any problems or something not working as intended, please let me know here or via my Discord: Xela#6419 If you are only playing the game at 1080p or less, this mod may not be necessary. Text only stops scaling up to 1080p resolution (as far as I know). It's possible this mod will only cause issues if you play the game at less than 1080p resolution. These fonts were NOT my creation! They were found and extracted from the Russian 🇷🇺 version of KOTOR which inexplicably has larger fonts with a variety of sizes, on top of being able to work in English as well. I was also not the first person to discover these files, that credit belongs to user Drazgar! https://deadlystream.com/profile/44945-drazgar/ I do not claim these files to be my own, I simply uploaded them here to share with the community after not finding them anywhere else.

Hey guys! It's been a while since I released something, I haven't been able to mod nearly as much as i'd like to lately, but hopefully you all can forgive me this is a Darth Nihilus skin I did while making a video tutorial series, which i didn't end up getting ready for a release yet, that would go through all of the techniques I used to do it (I know what you are thinking... I am frustrated with myself for not finishing what I start too! lol)

Summary This mod adds a Trandoshan named Garassk who will tailor robes for the player and Jedi party members. He can change the color your robes to any of four options: brown, black, red, and blue. The items retain their stats, with only the appearance of the robes changed. The tailor also runs a clothing store with infinite amounts of some generic outfits, plus a select set of armor, gloves, belts, and headgear in smaller amounts. Some of the armor he sells is new; files for the items already existed, but they were inaccessible in the regular game. I've also given Garassk an extensive dialogue tree, so you can ask him the usual questions about the planet, and he will react to certain quest states. To start, Garassk may be found in the hangar of the Jedi enclave on Dantooine. Later in the game, he moves to Anchorhead on Tatooine, down the street from the Czerka office. You will need to start a new game or load a save from before you first arrive on Dantooine for the mod to take effect. Installation Run Jedi_Tailor_K1.exe. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR). Uninstallation Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility This mod patches the modules danm13 and tat_m17aa and may not be compatible with other mods that affect those areas. This mod includes an icon fix from my Mandalorian Armor mod. If you use both mods, or some other mod that fixes that icon, then you can ignore the warning about that file being skipped. This mod is compatible with my Robe Adjustment mod, allowing you to change the color of the Apprentice Robes, but you must update the Robe Adjustment mod to version 1.1 or later. This mod is compatible with my Cloaked Jedi Robes, Cloaked Hybrid Robes, and Cloaked Party Robes mods and includes a compatibility patch for the 100% Brown color option of those mods. It adjusts the tailor's dialogue to make all references to robe color consistent with the brown shades in that option (brown, black, buff, and grey). The tailor will only recognize the original game robe items plus the variants the mod adds in the four standard colors. This mod may be compatible with other mods that add new robe items, but the tailor will only be able to swap around the old kinds. The tailor will only perform for the player and standard Jedi party members (Bastila, Jolee, and Juhani). Based on the discussion in this thread, this mod scales Trandoshans up in size to approximately the same height as Wookiees rather than the Human-size the vanilla versions are. Not compatible with other mods that change the N_Trandoshan model or appearance.2da entries (textures are ok).

First of all, you need Kotor Tool to open and extract various files from the game. Basic information about NPCs is stored inside .utc files, "gameplay balance" values are stored in .2DA tables. To work with these tables you can use Kotor Tool or 2DAEditor. ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS, THE MOD HAS BEEN FIXED: The issue that was breaking the mod was that the TSLPatcher installed critical files into the Override folder, these important files are used in the mod but other files on Peragus and Telos also shared the exact same name. I fixed this in 1.0.2 by adding to the installer so that the TSLPatcher would place these important files within the .mod files so the mod does not break Peragus or Telos. The problem with 1.0.2 however was that the TSLPatcher not only placed the files within the .mod files but they still placed the files within the Override at the same time. Version 1.0.3 fixes that so important files are NOT placed in the Override at ALL, however, whilst this mod is safe to play now, do be on the look out for bugs at every stage of the game and report any bugs you may find so that I may speedily fix it!
