    The K1 Community Patch (K1CP) is a compilation of previous bugfix mods and a multitude of new original fixes put together with the intention of resolving the many and various issues that KOTOR has. This includes some well-known game breaking bugs/softlocks, broken quests, inaccessible content, as well as lesser issues such as problems in conversations, visual inconsistencies, player annoyances, etc. The intention is for the changes to be as seamless as possible, fixing and improving things whilst still retaining the original developer intent. A huge thanks to all of the mod authors who created these mods, and allowed them to be included in this patch! Unfortunately, the individual list of changes has grown far too long to be included in this post. However, you can view a detailed breakdown of each author's individual contributions in the included readme file and a summary of the changes the current version has made since the previous release in the changelog file. Generally speaking, this mod should be installed before anything else, except mods that do hard edits/overwrites of 2DA, TLK or MOD (module) files. Warning: Never run the installer from inside the archive! Always extract the archive onto your hard drive first. N.B.: With the advent of version 1.10.0, K1CP has migrated away from the use of TSLPatcher and switched to HoloPatcher. This allows for additional patching functionality and resolves some bugs encountered with TSLPatcher. HoloPatcher is also multi-platform. The bundled installer is the Windows version, but Mac and Linux users can download the appropriate installer for their system here. It is highly recommended that you do not install the game on your system's C drive, especially in Program Files. Windows can have permissions issues when trying to install the mod to a C drive destination. If you are using the Steam version of the game and have installed Steam in its default Program Files location, we advise creating a new Steam Library on a different drive and moving the game there via the game's Properties pop-up in Steam. Translation: The mod now has translations in French and Russian, available as separate patches. To use, first download the base K1CP v1.10.0 archive and extract it to your harddrive. Download your translation patch of choice and extract its contents into K1CP's tslpatchdata folder. Proceed to install the mod as normal. Traduction (Français - Harlockin): Le mod a maintenant des traductions en français et en russe, disponibles sous forme de patchs séparés. После чего приступите к установке мода как обычно. Compatibility/Known Issues: K1CP uses module injection in an attempt to remain as compatible as possible with other mods. This may result in issues with mods that simply put files in the Override folder. It is recommended that you consult the individual authors of any large scale mods, particularly those that edit DLGs and scripts, as to whether their work is compatible with K1CP. Some mods will likely require updates, some may need to be installed in a specific order, whilst others may be fundamentally incompatible. K1CP currently only supports the English language version of the game, and makes a number of edits to the TLK file in English. If anyone is able to provide translations of these changes to other languages, please let us know. Be sure to include as much information as possible, including a list of all the other mods you have installed, the order you installed them in, steps to reproduce the problem, along with screenshots and save files, if appropriate. You may also be directed to provide the install log file, a list of the contents of your Override folder, and specific MOD files from your modules folder. Uninstallation: Given the complexity of this mod, a clean install of KOTOR is the recommended approach for uninstalling K1CP. However, HoloPatcher does provide uninstall Shell (Bash) and PowerShell scripts which will work as long as K1CP was the most recent mod installed.     A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.3.0 Release Date: 25.02.2023 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! If you intend to play with DarthParametric's Dark Jedi Wear Robes then you'll have to install that mod BEFORE Sith Stalkers [K1]. To install Sith Stalkers [K1], simply click on this mod's TSLPatcher.exe, click install, sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Description: In 2012, on a modding forum not so far away, the modder "reapper" made a mod that added the Sith Stalker Armor from the 2008 video game "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed". Not long after this, a modder by the name of "DeadMan" ported reapper's mod to K1. In 2014, another modder named "Constar" made a mod called "proper Sith Assassins" that essentially converted the Sith Assassins in TSL into Sith Stalkers from TFU. In 2017, a modder called "N-DReW25" made a parody of Constar's "Proper Sith Assassins" by replacing the Dark Jedi NPCs with DeadMan's Sith Stalkers. Now, in 2022, 10 years after reapper's original Sith Stalker release and 5 years after the release of the K1 Proper Sith Assassin's mod, N-DReW25 has reorganized the Proper Sith Assassin's mod into the FIRST GALACTIC- *Cough*- into the Sith Stalkers [K1] mod. This mod will no longer replace ALL of the Dark Jedi NPCs as the old mod did, instead, you will now find Sith Stalkers alongside the Dark Jedi NPCs across the galaxy in places such as: * Tatooine * Kashyyyk * Manaan * Korriban * Lehon * The Leviathan * The Star Forge The only difference between the Sith Stalker NPCs and the usual Dark Jedi NPCs is that their names are now "Sith Stalker" and their soundsets have been switched to the Sith Soldier soundset. As of version 1.2.0, the Sith Stalkers are exactly the same as their vanilla counterparts in terms of difficulty. Perhaps in future updates I may choose to make the Sith Stalker NPCs a tad harder then the Dark Jedi NPCs. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.com Incompatibilities: Will be compatible with Dark Jedi mods if you install them BEFORE Sith Stalkers [K1]. If your mod modifies the Dark Jedi NPCs modified in my mod, feel free to leave a comment and I will tell you if that mod is compatible or not. DarthParametric's Dark Jedi Wear Robes mod, for example, is compatible with my mod as I only replace a small handful of Dark Jedi with Sith Stalkers, thus meaning if you install DP's mod first and mine second then you'll see Dark Jedi in Robes alongside Sith Stalkers.     Saber&Melee Weapon Sound Mod Author: DeadMan 1. What is this? This mod will change sounds of lightsabers and other melee weapons. Lightsaber sounds are replaced with more movie-like versions. The mod will not only replace ingame sounds, but also will add some variety. For example, all lightsaber types (normal, doublebladed and short) now have unique set of sounds (not only on/off and ‘hum’ sounds, but also swing, parry and hit sounds). Vibroblades, vibroswords, long swords, doublebladed swords and quarterstaffs also have updated soundsets. Vanilla game had only 2 (!) swing sounds for ALL melee weapons. With my mod it’s 3-4 unique sounds for a weapon type. 2. Why should I install it? Why not? 3. How to install? Just run TSL Patcher, it will do everything for you. 4. Compatibility. The mod is not compatible with other mods which alter saber sounds. 5. Credits. Shem – I used some sound files from his Ultimate Sound Mod. For example on Telos it will work if you start at the hangar where you arrive, but the prison after that is too late and Samhan will have his original inventory.     This mod was created to work along side of a mod by my good friend, VarsityPuppet (or VPCombat). Please download his mod too to get the full peragus enhancement. http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/VP_Modules_Tweak_Pack_1;108867 This mod basically darkens peragus to make it as i saw it to be. A potential for a scare. But how can you get scared in the daylight? It�s a little hard to do in a video game. This hopes to fix it.

    I made a very similar mod to this a long time ago, but it seems it disappeared with PCGM and I no longer seem to have a copy. What it does is swap around the default flourish/stances used for melée weapons - the single blade flourish is replaced with the stun baton flourish and vice versa, the Echani-style flourish replaces the two melée weapon flourish and vice versa, and the double-blade flourish is replaced by the "Natural Attack" (or "Rocky Mode" ) flourish...Just look at the screenshot for details.
