It will add many additional robes and armors, replace many robes and armors, add and improve loot drops, and it is designed to fit in with TSL.

Content Overview:

  • Cloaked Knights of the Old Republic 1 style tunics replace the padawan robe model with new skins.
  • Jedi master robes have been reskinned.
  • Significant added content focused on armors/robes for Onderon pt1 and pt2, Nar Shaddaa, Dxun, Telos, Korriban, and Dantooine.
  • Canon and comic book style improved masks for Nihilus and Mandalore.
  • Improved Bao-Dur skin (tan, green eyes).
  • Korriban and Dxun tombs have improved appearance item loot.
  • All unrestrictive items and textures totally overhauled.
  • Metallic/improved HK-50, 51, 47 and T3.
  • Vacuum mask replaced with an electromesh mask design.
  • No-glitch upgrade screens for red space suit and Mandalore Armors + Custom Icons.
  • Cheat code "giveitem light_matrix" for blue hypermesh armor.
  • Cheat code "giveitem revan" for Darth Revan robe .
  • Cheat code "giveitem shadow" Azkul's outfit.
  • Cheat code "giveitem 90sk_1" and "giveitem 90sk_2" additional Exile's personal robes.

INSTRUCTIONS AND DETAILS:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY***

Step 1.

  • Download 7Zip to unpack .7z files (harmless freeware for file packing)

Step 2.

 

  • Copy baseitems.2da to an empty Override
  • Install TSLRCM and any Lightsaber mods you want
  • Next, after installing saber mods or TSLRCM, copy this mod's Override from Mod archive to either your
    • "Program Files/steam/steamapps/common/Knights Of The Old Republic II" ,
    • or  "Program Files/LucaAarts/SWKotOR2" if you're not using the steam version

Step 3.

That's it!

To verify that the mod is working, check it in KSE.

 

You can do a few things to remove the mod if you need to, but it is largely not recommended.

  1. Use the auto-generated Backup folder to replace files from the mod.
  2. You can also reset your Override folder (delete your override folder, make a new folder and name it override)
  3. Manually manage your Override folder

Misc Information:

In TSL Loot and Immersion Upgrade, I have revised all the appearance items in the game, and added quite a few new armors and robes.

  • If you are playing for the first time, please start a New Game to fully play the features of this mod.

 

Armor designs and culture is largely intact, item descriptions and icons have been filled out, and I tried to hide new items all over the game.

 

  • You will receive an Exile item on the Harbinger, and you will also encounter new models and skins for old items throughout the game.
  • Additional items have been created and placed at static loot drop points in the game.

 

Opo Chano on Telos sells a robust variety of droid parts and all HK parts.

 

On Onderon, I have fully replaced Gegorrann with a new faction merchant who will go about business as usual selling you Military surplus and rarities, per his agreement with the Onderon Military.

  • Beware playing Dark side on Onderon when using this mod.
  • There are no glitches per say, but I believe they attack the merchant, vice versa at the end.
  • Not to spoil anything, but those guys are riot police.

 

TSLRCM works functions but I do not know if you can reach the HK factory. But, you can complete the game. 

Likewise I heard that the new merchant on Onderon makes an outcome not passable for Dark Side players, but I don't believe this is the case with version 4.4.4.

I explain how to bypass these potential glitches further down the page in the Troubleshooting section.

 

  • If you are using Movie Mandalorians, please install it after installing Loot and Immerison Upgrade.
  • This mod largely has every mod I've worked with in it. There are variations to this mod's content in separate, older releases that you can find on my profile.
  • The Cortosis armor mod, New Onderon Merchant mod, armored robes mod, and all other mods I've made are currently inside the Loot and Immersion Upgrade in most up-to-date form.
  • I did not include Beautified Lightsaber Blades for TSL in this mod.

  • I redid the Onderon Merchant's inventory to primarily sell armors. He sells all the best armors of the game, I went into great detail here. 
  • This 11/3 update only acts on the Onderon Merchant's inventory. You will need him to respawn, aka first visit to get the new inventory.
  • I have retroactively added a new Exile item, different loot in the Korriban tomb, and different loot with new armors in Vogga's chamber.

                        No other Star Forge (J class) mods are compatible!

Troubleshooting:

  • White Box Icon Items :

This version will patch over these Do not interact with these items.

Bypassing them is the best way to continue your game. v.4.4.4 will patch these. Only one is know ("Malak's Robe")

 

  • No DS on Onderon :

If this happens, restart Onderon after removing "npc_gegorran.utc" from Override (After installing the mod, or Before by removing the file from tslpatchdata)

 

  • No HK Factory with TSLRCM:

Before meeting with Kavar, remove "end_mand.dlg" from Override (After installing the mod, or Before by removing the file from tslpatchdata instead). 

 

  • Spelling:

Please, have mercy on me! :)

 

  • Star Forge Robe Items Crashing:

This is because not all NPCs including party members are able to wear this type of item in default TSL. I believe Atton, Handmaiden, Exile, and Disciple can wear.

I had the same problem for a while. I was told to use the KOTOR Edit tool to change the armor of the droid master into something that the mod did not change or delete. It can be a bit complicated, but if you turn to page 15 of this comment section, you will find a possible fix in a comment by Squall Lionhart. It may be confusing, but it is worth a shot to try it out and see if it helps you.

 

 

 

Have the Kotor Tool installed before attempting this. 1. Open up NPC overhaul mod download 2. Open tslpatchdata folder located inside the overhaul 3. Find the module that gives you the broken NPC (I'm assuming I know which one it is.) Find the utc file with NPC that is broken, open up the inventory, and replace the equpped clothing with something in game.

All right, finally finished my ambitious mod build featuring TSLRCM, SLM 2.0 and Loot and Immersion mod in that order. I also have 70+ other mods in the override, but they are mostly reskin and immersion mods. I'm nearing Telos and everything seems to work well so far, however I noticed something strange - I found a plain, 'generic' Jedi Robe in one of the containers on the Harbinger and it has 6 Def and +4 Dex limit (same as say, Zabrak armor in vanilla/TSLRCM).

 

Seems kinda strange since the main (and some would say, only) advantage or robes is that they had no Dex cap. So either this is the first conflict I encounter or the robe stats have been drastically altered? I never clearly understood if robe mods are compatible with Loot and Immersion. I did have Prequel Movie Robes (28 models) and Movie Master Robes files in override before installing L&I 2.08b. TSLPatcher had no errors after install, if that is an indication of anything. Looks like a conflict with the robe mods, they probably use the same item slot or something of the sort, so stats are altered but the item is named and looks like a 'Jedi Robe'.

Yeah, It swaps the higher defense bonus for the dexterity cap. I can try and fix this for the robes in future versions, but it's not a glitch. I keep forgetting about that part.

Thanks for the quick reply, I was getting anxious I messed up my game again. Unfortunately, there was some truth in this previous statement, since using the (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/745-prequel-style-robes/) mod or (https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor2/mods/866) both seem to break this mod's Jedi robes' textures (tried those two separately of course). Am I doing something wrong? One of the above installs with TSLPatcher, the other doesn't, but they both don't work like they should (I've tested them without TSL L&I and they do work as intended).

 

I am aware this mod changes so much equipment that ic could not work with other robe mods, that much is clear. Weird thing is, replacement Jedi Master robes ( work like a charm and don't break the other item's appearance. So is there any specifics in the way I try to install mods that alter the 'standard', 'basic' Jedi robes' appearance? Or it is just these particular mods are incompatible? Or like I assumed, this mod's structure (changing some of the base Jedi robes etc.) prevents compatibility with such mods?

The only thing I dislike about this mod is the robe textures which are, I admit immersive and seem appropriate given the age in SW history that the events in KOTOR II take place. However, most of them seem a bit too 'plain and unassuming' (:P) for my taste and the models look a bit repetitive for me. Most of all, their collars are kind of strange and out of place, to the degree I was going to ask if it was a bug (but then I saw in the screens it isn't). This is not criticism but a matter of taste, of course. That's just the reason I focus so much on a robe replacement in this situation. If there is not way to change the robes themselves, is there maybe a way to just 'fix' (change) their collars?

^Most if the default TSL padawan robe mods don't include the vanilla model, but that model has a replacement in Override from Loot and Immersion Upgrade. If there are no model files included with a padawan or master robe replacement mod, they will not work with Loot and Immersion Upgrade. Model files for those robes are MDL/MDX files and usually read something like PFBIM.mdx/mdl and PMBIM.mdx/mdl.

 

I'll try and address low res textures and collar texture quality in the next update, they probably could use it.

Hey, I really like your mod and I would like to play with this but I got crash :( I installed TSLRCM 1.8.5 and M478EP 1.2.4 and TSL Loot & Immersion Upgrade 2.0.8b
I played without problem until Nar Shaddaa  (GOTO speak with headhunters video) before I got crash out to desktop.
I had a clear version of the game which only contains TSLRCM 1.8.5 and M478EP 1.2.4, so I copied there my savegame and I could pass trought and I copied back. So I can play until the end of Nar Shaddaa. In Ebon Hawk I spoke G0-T0 and after I got ingame crash to decktop again after a few seconds, I can run around about a 3 or 5 second until the process stops. If I come back to clear version I can play as long as I want. When I copied back my savegame the game crashes again after a few seconds.

I wolud like to play this mod, its contains huge and a realy nice contents.

I reinstall the game with TSLRCM and M478EP, TSL Loot & Immersion Upgrade but i got the same problem.

If somebody know the solution, please let me know! :)

^ Yes, for yourself and all others who experience the G0-T0 crash - remove "P_Gt.tga" and "P_Gt.txi" from Override before playing again. Try to resume before you get to the glitched area entirely, and deleting the files I mentioned I believe in the past has resolved the glitch. 

I removed G0-T0 from the mod so this pesky glitch doesn't happen for anyone else, although I believe his appearance.2da entries will still be modified by the installer, but the texture and txi files were causing a crash glitch on Nar Shaddaa for some users. The new version is up to date with the goto fix and I added two alternate exile robes via cheats "giveitem 90sk_1" and "giveitem 90sk_2" in the new archive.

I'm running this heavily modded, but I'm not sure what would be causing these conflicts. The saber not spawning could be something in my Override folder, but I can't think of what mod would change the PC's Lightsaber script with Atris. Especially because most of my mods I've used in previous playthroughs. L&IU is the only *new* override addition I've made that would have any drastic changes. 

I'll list some of the problems I've encountered below and update as I encounter more:

 

A LOT of the Jedi and Sith robes don't have stats. They can be upgraded, but they offer no greater benefit than clothes. There's also quite a few items that do not have descriptions set.

*Update* there's a lot of robes that don't have a proper ingame model. Basically anything with "tunic" in the name, or things such as the custscene robes. These revert into s standard armor model, and cannot be spawned in with SGE. 

**Update** The player's lightsaber is missing from the cutscene where Atris wields it, and also from the cutscene in the council chamber. The player character also changes into the cutscene robes right as Atris goes to pull out your Lightsaber. 

***Update*** certain items will show up in the lootpool, but aren't equitable items. Sith Tunics, one or two sets of robes, and armor weave items spawn but can't be equipped and have a white null icon. They are also lacking stats and have placeholder text. 

****Update**** Revan's Robes keep spawning in various containers. They don't sell for anything, and are only worth 1 component for breaking down. I got 3 pairs in the Tells Academy, and another set in the Enclave.

Installed but with one error,  "• Warning: Unable to copy file "a_light_x09.uti", file does not exist!"

am i missing something or is this ok

^ It's ok, you're not missing anything. a_light_x09.uti was an extra file removed from the installer.

Hey @90SK,

I've run into this glitch in two different playthroughs now, and it has only been when I have Loot & Immersion downloaded. I keep having the Medical Supplies Cylinder in the beginning of the game load in with Revan's Robes inside, then having it clone itself in various other sections of the game where it only contains a medpac and the robes. Is this a bug you are aware of?
I am running other mods, but I have no idea what would be causing this if there is a conflict.

Try deleting "corpse.utp" from override.

If you get the glitch again, post a screenshot here of the contents of the glitched placeable, and I'll track down where its coming from.

I believe placeable names like "corpse.utp" are shared throughout modules, so a placeable change in Peragus might end up on Dantooine, Dxun and Malachor IF the file is placed in the Override folder.

 

A TSLPatcher can inject the .UTP file directly into TSLRCMC's .MOD files to keep your change isolated to your intended location :thumbup:.

I removed some of the files I suspect were causing your problem. Unfortunately, I cannot work on Loot-Immersion Upgrade as much as I would prefer to, but this new build may solve your issue. If it doesn't please let me know, and thank you for reporting this issue to me. I would love it if it worked perfectly, but it is not quite there yet. :)
