Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance

DESCRIPTION:

This mod replaces the silly, non-intimidating Dark Jedi Ajunta Pall with a scarier, more canon-accurate version. His weak gentle voice has been tweaked too so he is a little more intimidating.

INSTALLATION:

- Use the TSLPatcher and select the install option

UNINSTALLATION:

- Run the TSLPatcher with the uninstall option

- Delete these files from override:

-- p_ajuntah.tpc

-- p_ajuntabb.mdl

-- p_ajuntabb.mdx

-- p_ajuntab.tpc

-- p_ajunta.tpc

-- kor37_freedon.utc

-- ajunta_mask.tpc

-- ajunta_maskb.tpc

Is there any way you could possibly make a transparent version so he appears more ghost-like (like this)? I love your model, but it's a bit too solid for my tastes. 😕

We had a whole thread dedicated to this issue and unfortunately it ended up in too many crashes. We may try to revisit it in the future

This is one of the best mods ever. It's a perfect remake of Ajunta. A shame we can't make him a little transparent though. I love what you did with his voice, it's much more fitting for both his character and the model.

If you can't make him transparent, could you re-enable the cheesy shield effect maybe?

There was nothing wrong with Ajunta Pall's voice, just his appearance. This is the BEST solution to that issue. Say, how would I be able to install the appearance but not the voice?

There’s a folder called uninstallpatchdata. Go to that folder and copy all of the .wav files. Move them to root/streamwaves/m37aa/free04/.That should restore his original lines.

So you don’t think being that he is wearing a mask that his voice would change?

Yes, I actually have this idea in mind the moment after hearing the altered voice from your Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance. Maybe applying effects similar to this one will make the voice even scarier:

In fact, I have tried to fiddle around with it to have it applied to your Ajunta Pall in my playthrough, but I couldn't even get near the intended result nor the reasonable amount of scariness to it. 😂

However, the now voice are very well fitting to his new appearance- but if you decided to give it more lift, that'd be awesome!

Doesn't work with a dark side playthrough. If you press him on the Star Forge/kill his ghost in any fashion it locks you in the room and says that he's still keeping you there and there's no way to progress. Please fix. Love it other than that though.

If it helps, it appears to be something to do with the actual appearance, because I took the audio files out to see if at least the appearance could be salvaged but it still locked me in the tomb.

Okay, so you'll want to delete kor37_freedon.utc from your override and then try the Ajunta Pall sequence again.

That did the trick. I tested it with every option (spawning before I'd entered the area of course). Even choosing the wrong sword. Removing that file also solves another mod's conflict so, bonus points. 😁Thanks a bunch, VP. Curious, how did the utc file stop it from working?

I removed the onSpawn script (the one that gives him the force shield effect), but I think that messes up something with his user define script when he dies.

There is another instance that I got locked in the tomb however - I placed a lot of mines in his area right before the fight and it instantly killed him...

...but also I think I killed him too good because I got XP points and he didn't disappear. And I think that must mess up the door unlock script.
