But seeing how new content is being created for SWTOR and TSL is re-released is a good sign and could point to them being made canon. Abrams was inspecting the next expansion for SWTOR for some reason - the only one which I can think of is "Will it fit my vision?" There is a good chance of getting the KotOR Era out of its 'Legends' funk. Back to topic This only kinda sucks, because I already have the Retail version of the game, and Steam can't really support the TSLPatcher. It would probably be the second and third best decisions they could make to make the fan base love them. Circa 40 Posted July 31, 2015 They could be making KOTOR 3 right now, BUT I have my doubts. SWTOR was meant to be, and is, a huge successor to the KOTOR series. If you think about it, it's like having multiple sequels to the series. There's so much content in that game, its crazy. I think Bioware has something else up their sleeve with this new Star Wars game they're making. It could be related to KOTOR and SWTOR somehow but I'm not sure it'll be a legit "KOTOR 3" or anything. redrob41 86 Posted July 31, 2015 I just managed to install a mod on the new KotOR II Mac version with the TSLPatcher using Wine. First make sure you have installed TSLRCM (and only TSLRCM) with the workshop. After that you can install your mod with the TSLPatcher with the direction folder the TSLRCM mod is installed in (so not your game itself). It's probably in Users/yourname/Library/Application Support/Steam/Steamapps/Workshop/content/(and then some folders that use numbers as their name). The folder you arrive in is used by steam to overwrite the files in the gameapp while playing. The only thing I tried out were the new TOR HK-Models by Darth Parametric (which are wonderful) with the reskins by Kainzorus Prime. So far it all seems to work. Also what I want to know: are two mods on the Steam workshop that for example both use the appearance .2da compatible with each other or does one overwrite the other? and BTW: I see a lot of people start to upload content which isn't theirs. Is that even allowed? It seems like a shitty move to me. :S They will overwrite each other. That's why we should just stick with the TSLPatcher. Yeah, noticed this too. Apparently Steam allows it and basically just keeps their hands of anything workshop related... but it does leave a bad taste to me aswell.I noticed that someone uploaded my head fix mod, but I kindly asked that they remove it, and they did. I've just successfully uploaded it myself. I'll upload as many of my mods that I can make compatible without using the TSLpatcher (or even break up some of the existing ones), so that they will work within the Steam "Subscribe" method of using mods (basically they just overwrite anything in the designated folder, such as Override). I'll NEVER buy a Steam version, I hate this DRM BS which thinks that it knows better than me how to handle games I paid for.
