That would work. But if another cutscene triggers after this one (easily checked if it runs a_next_scene) there's the option she can show up in said location in another cutscene, which would look even weirder with here out of her usual location.

Well, it runs that script, but not the appropriate case in the main function for starting another cutscene. I'm assuming this means that the Ebon Hawk would get reset after the cutscene plays no matter what, then resuming normal gameplay.

Actors are not removed after a cutscene so it might be Handmaiden was triggered in a cutscene before that.

 

Actually, before that cutscene played out, there was another one.The that cutscene before the one with the bug I reported is the one that Disciple and T3 speak to each other at the communication room, and T3 shows to Disciple a hologram of Carth Onasi. Right after that, the cutscene with the bug (the one with Atton and Disciple) plays out immediately. Handmaiden was not involved in any of those.

 

The exact moment anl location of the cutscene is on the Ebon Hawk, when it is landed on Korriban, right after T3 shows you a message of a mandalorian saying you need to return to Dxun immediately (To go to the civil war in Onderon and rescue master Kavar).

 

Hope this information helps you out.

 

EDIT:

 

I finaly reached the jedi enclave cene, and fo nobody suprise....the game broke.

 

Once you reach the point that a cutscene plays out when you see the tree jedi masters inside the enclave and vrook says? "It is not as it was", well that cutscene doesn't play and you get stuck on the enclave starring at the tree jedi masters unable to proceed on the game.

 

Fortunately, i have found a solution for that, i simply re-installed EE and the problem was solved (Thou Im almost sure such act of re-instalation migh cause future problems at the final battle in Malachor V). For those who are playng with both mods as im playng, or are planing on installing both PartySwap and Extended Enclave.

 

If you want to avoid this game crash that I experienced I woud advise you to install PartySwap mod first and only them install Extended Enclave mod.

 

That been said, here are some advices for future PartySwap update, if you make it compatible with EE:

 

There are dialogs that are in need of attention:

 

When you are playing as a FEMALE character, and handmaiden comes to speak with Kreia, she asks "Did you not go to join HIM?" and Kreia replies "No, it is a battle HE must face alone". Later, on the same dialogue, Kreia says: "and now the exile will see their blindness for HIMSELF"

 

On the cene you are reading the thots of your companions, and you are playing as a FEMALE Character, Handmaiden thinks: "Do not let them hurt HIM"

 

On the very same scene Disciple thinks "Do not let them hurt her", thats correct for a female character but keep in mind that if you play as a MALE character, he might continue saying HER instead of HIM.

Just a quick update on the bugs of this mod:

 

I installed your mod in the game with the TSLRCM 1.8.5 on it to see if there was any problems, I found one VERY serious one.

 

It is on the Ebon Hawk, when the pre Malachor cutscene plays out. The problem is... the cutscene simply does not play and you get stuck inside the Ebon Hawk travelling in the hyperspace tunnel.

 

Is there any way fix to that before the release of a new version of the mod?

Sorry for such a late response; I ran into a problem w/ TSLRCM and stopped playing for a while, so I haven't thought to check here. It was right after you land on Nar Shadda, and the Exile and crew are assembled outside the Ebon Hawk. Someone, (I want to say Atton), asks what you wish to do while you're there, and then one of the responses is to check about the bounty. After Atton, (possibly someone else as well, it's been a while), responds, Kreia mentions how investigating the bounty seems pointless, at which point Handmaiden says something along the lines of, "This bounty poses a threat to him. The least we can do is investigate". Whenever I've gotten to that point, it's said "Him", even if the character is female. 

 

Edit: I just saw that someone else said what the line was. If needed, you can just disregard this message

That depends on where you are in the game. You should be able to safely install PartySwap / uninstall Handmaiden 4 Females as long as you've not visited the Polar Academy. Afterwards it will probably create issues.

Update: Surprisingly enough, after uninstalling this mod, then uninstalling Handmaiden 4 Female, and finally reinstalling this one, everything seems to work. I had to go back to where I got the Disciple to join but that wasn't far back at all. 

 

My only concern is; how do I get more of the adrenal? It disappeared after I used it the first time, and now I don't know how to get Handmaiden to leave the party. Do I have to go back to the ship to get her to go away again?

 

Once I get this working, though, this is awesome! Thank you so much for your hard work on this! :)

There's probably nothing you can do about that, I'm afraid, given the unorthodox nature of installation you have there

It should not disappear, that's for sure^^ You'll probably need to cheat some more of them into your game using either the console or the Kotor Savegame Editor.

I curently play a french version of THE LATEST TSLRCM via steam and installed a bunch of english mods and its works fine, but as a FEMALE EXILE, Brianna DOES NOT interacte after the hologram scene in the ebon hawk.

 

Can anyone help me ? Can i even make this mod work?

EDIT: To clarify, possibly some certain scripts are labeled differently in the french version and it's causing an issue. That wouldn't explain why your other mods work, but I've always assumed PartySwap to be rather sensitive considering what it does.

You specifically mentioned a female character, does it work fine with a male? Does Disciple mess up in certain scenes he should be a part of?

My last playthrough using this mod was of a female exile and it was heavily modded. Pure LS. Didn't have any issues.

 

My version was manual installation, not Steam, so maybe Steam ver has something to do with it.

Quite honestly, I consider this mod an absolute must, and I even choose it over Extended Enclave (even though I believe you're doing a version for that too, so yay!) but I'm curious if it would totally break the game were I to install it as it is now

Well, progress has been excruciatingly slow regarding this mod. Only the other day did I actually realize that the 'Files Changed' list was updated - or remade, whatever - and I've been trying to familiarize myself with what still needs to be done, besides changing the Patcher file up. And downloading RCM 1.8.5. I can now say I have a plan, but no promises on when I'll be able to work on it or when it's released.

How exactly do I perform the fix for the "conversation node error" before leaving for Onderon the first time? I'm not exactly sure I understand the solution tbh

That's understandable, because sadly there isn't one. Sometimes it'll work fine, sometimes it won't. I don't understand why.

You can remove the .dlg from your Override though. That way you won't be able to choose the Handmaiden to go with you to Onderon but at least you can continue the game and I don't think it caused any problems later on to do so.
