    Trying to render lightmaps for my BoS Areas. 3Ds Max keeps on crashing on exporting. :-/

      Have you gotten Quanon's tutorial on it? It's very handy.

      That's how I got started (thanks Q!) I then got disbeliver's tutorial, but that didn't help much. I don't quite know where i went wrong.

      I'm not sure if I released the above tutorial on LF, it's a more recent one.

      I explain how to create your lightmap and also how to setup the lights, to get a nice quality.

       

      I do use an extra tool, it's small plugin for 3Ds Max, to help me out with the UVWs:
