  1. Statement: There's a neat way to get around the "limitation" of computers that I've found. It's a feature that's apparently been around for a while now called GOOGLE. Query: What about the Battlefront games?
  2. Statement: Technically K1R is breaking canon anyways as what's being restored isn't in the actual lore. Just like BOS. So to have a canon game, you must play it unmodified. I just don't want to have this conflict with BOS.
  3. Statement: This exactly. It was said before me. I'd prefer it to be separate.
  4. Answer: To an extent. He existed in his mask/armor/robes. Like his ship the Ravager, he kept his armor/robes together with only his will.
  5. Statement: It is. But that doesn't mean the facial features can't be retained.
  6. Statement: Not in this case. At level 50 (me) that droid can enrage all it wants and it still won't do more damage than if it wasn't. I got 5 shots off before I'd die at the beginning of the fight. Agreement: You can die when soloing from an enraged boss, if they're on a planet higher than Nar Shaddaa.
  7. Statement: I'll be soloing one after I've posted this. Correction: The master never died. If by some means he has (which is highly unlikely since he is the master and can't be destroyed) it will have been for the first time. Answer: (1)Companions don't fight the bosses because only true heroes (players) can fight them. They just stand there and cower. Answer: (2)That's a complicated one. I've done it with all of my level 50 characters (trooper vanguard, consular sage, inquisitor assassin), and I fought the Kaas boss with my 40 something inquisitor (don't remember the level when I fought it). Answer: (3)Attack. Statement: So I just went to fight the SD-0 droid, and it's apparently bugged. I died at half health 3 times by a normal attack which shouldn't happen as I should be taking no damage in the first place, and my armor was taking 0 damage. So something's up with it. I will attempt to fight the Taris one. But it's trigger hasn't shown up at this time. If I can't kill it for some stupid reason. I'll link a video of someone else doing it.
  8. Statement: *sigh* Being a meatbag, your query does not surprise me. Answer: Yes, you can solo a World Boss. Unfortunately the only ones you can solo are Coruscant, Dromund Kaas, Taris, and Nar Shaddaa. You have to be level 50 to take 0-very little damage. Statement: He was Revan. Teleporting somewhere safe would not be beyond his capabilities or character. After all, it is not possible to destroy the master.
  9. Answer: I don't but I can solo the ones on Coruscant and Taris.
  10. Statement: I think this sums me (HK-47 character) up pretty well ;). (CAUTION!: F word is clearly heard twice! I do not approve of it!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygVbtQJxo5w

  11. Statement: If the trial has ended then yes. You can still download the patches, but that's it. Unless you buy the game and sub, you can't play. And with it already downloaded, you won't have to install it. Because it already is. Irritated Statement: A lot of people are going on about how it's a dying game and they're loosing subscribers. That's just pure Sith Spit. They have lost some subscribers, but that's because those people are haters or ignorant. The game isn't what they wanted it to be at release, but they've been working on a ton of things. Unfortunately someone higher up said, "Time to release." and they did. 1.2 will put in what was supposed to be there in the first place. Pleased Statement: I'm glad you enjoyed it HH. I've enjoyed it so far. I've got all the Republic classes and only an Inquisitor (all but 2 are unfinished) and so I didn't read your spoiler about the Warrior. Agreement: I will have to agree about the long walks, especially on Dromund Kaas and Coruscant. When you hit level 14 you get sprint, and at 25 you can get a speeder license and buy your own speeder. You move soooo much faster with the speeder. And apparently 1.2 will take care of the long walks to an extent. Query: Would I be correct in assuming you didn't get to the Taral V/Malestrom Flash Point?
  12. Answer: It won't work because of the different play disc. Clarification: What I mean by that is that each play disc goes with a specific set, so it will give you an error. You have set A and set B. Disc 1 from set A will not play the game of set B and vice verse. Statement: If you had it installed already it might possibly play. I doubt that it would being two different versions, but I'm not that familiar with how that works between U.S. and U.K. copies. Even between two different U.S. copies it will give an error.
  13. Answer: What Hassat said. Because you downloaded it from Steam it's in C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\<your username> and then in the folder of the game (being from Steam I don't know if there's a folder named LucasArts or not)SWKotOR go to the folder called Streamwaves. In there is a ton of folders. In each one of those folders are more folders for specific parts of the game. Those contain the sounds you are looking for. The path looks like this: C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\<your username>\LucasArts\SWKotOR\streamwaves\m01aa\_cut04.
  14. Statement: I'm still working on the VO for M4-78. I haven't forgotten.

    Update on 1.8

Answer: Notice Sith Holocron's signature. It will be done when it's done. You really can't put a date (even a general time frame) on this kind of thing.

    Improved Jedi Sacks

Statement: They look odd because they're jump suits. Space underwear. Agreement: But they do need the upgrade. I do believe I'll download this. Good surprise indeed.

One could only wonder how Dr. Claw would appear in such a reboot.

  17. (I should point out that any HK speak in this thread (except for when an HK unit is speaking) is just indicating the manner of speech.) *Ten minuets later a bar patron stumbles to the table barely able to stand, and sits down, almost missing the chair completely. Query: *Patron's voice* Yhouuu llookch likche a sheeazoned pashzaakch *hic* plaayer. You whanna play a ghame? Request: *Al'verde's voice* I'm actually waiting for someone specific to play with. Please leave and go buy yourself another drink. Suggestion: *Patron* Whuy don'tsh yhouu plhay me to pasch the time while yhou wait. *hic* Irritated Statement: *Al'verde* No. Indignant Statement: *Patron* I inschistht. *Al'verde found it a bit odd that someone so drunk would be so insistent rather than suggestive. He decided to take the patron up on his offer. (I hope that isn't too much. I couldn't help myself.)

    Update on 1.8

    Statement: That would be cool.
  19. Query: You all do realize that this will ONLY be in M4-78 right?
  20. Statement: Possibly. It's her canon name, and I hate being non-canon, except for comical reasons or because I want to. Answer: As to your query, it's hard to say. Suggestion: This might take some doing, but what if you did them, and had it go along with the male/female selection system the game has. Extrapolation: What I mean is, use the system the game already uses to determine which sounds to play if you choose male or female. (When you choose male, it uses the files that say "he", and if you choose female it uses the ones that say "she".) In this instance, it would only use the "Meetra Surik" files when choosing female. The Archon would say the Exile's real name and say that despite the name she is using is what she wants everyone else to know her by, it knows her real name, Meetra Surik.

Answer: To the first, yes they are. They're called Womp rats: "Just like shootin' womp rats, eh kid?" ―Unknown Rebel soldier. To the second, not for last weekend's test. Quote: *Obi-Wan's voice* Remember, the Force will be with you. Always. -Obi-Wan to Luke: E IV

Answer: Yes. Yes it is. Quote: *Obi-Wan's voice* I felt a great disturbance in the Force. As if millions of voices screamed out in terror and were suddenly silenced. Obi-Wan to Luke after the destruction of Alderaan- ANH.
