Check out the progress for my NPC overhaul mod for Kotor I. I am currently adding the Jedi Masters to the Dantooine Enclave who didn't originally appear in that game but were in Kotor II (Masters Zez-Kai Ell, Lonna Vash, Kavar, and Atris). Players will be able to have a brief chat with each of them.

Regardless, I'm sure my KotOR mod build would benefit greatly from your mod, but what I'm greatly concerned about is compatibility. Because mods like K1 NPC Overhaul and K1 Enhancement Pack are not really compatible with anything and they are the major ones that basically eliminate the clone effect you see.

Was it ever confirmed that the Councils were definitively separate or was it just an alternative location which had been made for the Jedi during the Civil War due to the widespread animosity towards them? I recall Dantooine was some sort of "elite" enclave where only the most exceptional students were sent. And keep in mind that these other masters could just be visiting too, since Kotor II makes it clear they all knew about the Dantooine Enclave and had been there. I basically had each of these four additional masters replace the generic NPC Jedi who are seen walking around in the Enclave. I spliced together some lines from each of them for the dialog and made it sound like they're talking to a brainwashed Revan (like they know what's going on but are keeping it on the downlow) and the player can have a brief chat with each of them after the initial training (the conversations can only trigger once the player has recited the Jedi Code and built their lightsaber). Finished work on Jedi Master Zez-Kai Ell who I also ported into the Dantooine Enclave from Kotor 2 and you'll be able to talk to in Kotor 1 with this mod. Zez Kai Ell Dialog Test.mp4

Changed my mind about Atris and the other Jedi. Here's a test where I gave her some lines. It's not perfect but it's a start. I plan on giving lines to the other three masters who I ported in from Kotor 2 for the enclave. Atris Dialog Test 02.mp4

After much work and planning, I've decided to include the character known as Vima Sunrider, the daughter of Nomi Sunrider, from the Star Wars Legends comics in my NPC Overhaul mod where she will make a brief cameo. Based on the year of her birth and the year in which Kotor I takes place that Wookieepedia provides, she'd be about 44-45 by this time. She was initially supposed to appear as a companion in the game but was instead replaced by Bastila and to some extent Juhani as well. Her robe is customized using the Mandalorian Wars robe template from the BOSSR mod and I colored her hair to make her look roughly in her age range.

Gotcha. I did download Kotor Level Editor and am currently teaching myself how to use it. My main concerns rn with my attempted mod are how to add additional NPCs to a given module as well as how to add in voice files for them. My main focus of the mod besides a general NPC overhaul is as follows: 1) I successfully ported all the additional Jedi Council members from Kotor 2 (Atris, Lonna Vash, Kavar, and Zez-Kai Ell) into the Dantooine Enclave and had each of them replace one of the generic Jedi NPCs who was roaming around. My intent is to have it so the player can click on each of them and they can briefly address the player with a couple of lines about Revan (no complex conversation, it ends after they speak, they're just dropping subtle hints that they know the player). 2) I wanted to have it so that in addition to the group of Jedi who greet the player when first arriving at the Star Forge, I intended to make it so that an additional group of about four Jedi would appear and address the player at some point on either level 1 or 2 further in on the Star Forge--it would either be 3 generic males and 1 female or depending on the player's choices, each of them would be replaced by Dustil, Mekel, Kel Algwinn, and/or Yuthura if the player successfully redeemed any of them on Korriban. -
Thanks! I know he's a crime-lord, but I honestly felt like his vanilla appearance was too "clunky," especially with his armor. Being wealthy and powerful and even having his own throne in his mansion, it makes sense that he'd carry himself like nobility. Most folks will be quick to point out that it'll look different from the armor that he drops, but it's worth mentioning that this is also the case with Calo Nord's armor as well when you eventually kill and loot him later.

All Jedi Council members from both Kotor I & II--Vandar Tokare, Vrook Lamar, Dorak, Zhar Lestin, Atris, Lonna Vash, Kavar, and Zez-Kai Ell--will now appear in the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and have overhauled HD appearances although the added members are simply there as passive observers (currently working on porting the voice files for the additional council members). Credit for the textures goes to Astor_Kaine, Dark Hope, Ashton Scorpius (will probably just recommend Ashton's male twilek overhaul rather than include it directly), jonathan7, and Effix

Right I've done that numerous times, but I was wondering how to add additional NPCs into a given module and/or edit them which isn't possible in Kotor Tool which only uses files which are already coded into the game. Some mods are able to do that and add in more NPCs and so I was wondering if there was a tool available to edit custom modules and in turn the utc files in them. I had a plan to port in the Jedi Council Room module on Coruscant from Kotor 2 and use it to have an added scene after the end where Revan meets/confronts Atris like in the Novel and asks her about the Exile. -
Atris is now ported into the Jedi Enclave, although she is conspicuously silent toward Revan. I assure you this is deliberate. Credit for her alternate Librarian robes goes to Effix.

Most people don't know this, but there is in fact a model stored in the game for "fat commoners" for both male and female. However, both currently only have one or two textures working and everything else has the issues displayed below where the texture appears warped or stretched on the shoulders. I had read on a thread somewhere that it involved the UV smoothing for the textures but I am not sure. Would someone be able to or interested in doing this for the five variants of commoner clothing in the game? If so, please let me know

DarthParametric, I am considering using this to have Kel-Dor in a couple of spots in my Kotor 1 NPC Overhaul mod to replace Ithorians in-game (specifically the swoop mechanic on Taris and possibly the Ithorian Czerka exec on Kashyyykk. Would you prefer it ported in with or without the hood? I can definitely port in the "hood down" version but hooded might be a bit more cmplicated.

Would it be possible to have an alternate option for that in the installer? Id be open to including an optional path for that for players who want it. Absolutely! If possible I may add an alternate option for that, for players who want it in-game. Alternatively he could be seen as wearing the armor underneath his robe or something like that which is probably what Calo Nord did, hence why Calo Nord's armor look nothing like what he appears to be wearing when you kill and loot him.

Would anyone who knows about porting models and textures from SWTOR (TOR) be able to give me pointers and/or advice on how to port in creatures and animals from SWTOR? I am specifically trying to port in the models and textures for rakghouls, terentateks, kath hounds, tukatas and shyracks. More specifically would Blender be the best option or is there a method which is more preferable for porting?
