Over here we've had snow today for the first time this year too. Though that isn't really that much snow, we've seen quite a bit more last year over here.

Don't hold my word for it, but we haven't marked that scene for impossible yet. That may change in the future though, so "only time will tell". =P

But you can always get the n-th object with the same tag. You can give "generic Atton" an alignment of 100, or the level 1, or the maximum (which is 50?) in the utc, then check for that in the script to determine which atton is which... then just get the head and body gear from "party Atton" to "generic Atton".

We do have one problem here though: the cutscenes of atton/handmaiden leaving with kreia aren't in vanilla and are needed for Malachor VI to make sense.. I guess we'll think of a solution for this..

Better than anything that has 'star wars' or 'kotor' in it (that makes it sound lame, in my opinion), but deadly stream is still better. That's what I think. =)
-
Exactly, Deadly Stream is a very cool name, I see no point in replacing it..

Alright guys, we've made a short teaser for ya.. enjoy.. [video=youtube;HXrrquqVnBM] And who knows, there may be more coming soon.. =P Oh, and you should probably read 'sadistic' instead of 'masochistic' =P

Well the wording does make sense now, thanks VP. As for the meaning... If warriors are to be sent after Revan into the depths of space, then they must also know how to get to him, so they should be among the 'any who know the way', no?
-
First of all, the string 101442 is: But he will need warriors, Sith and Jedi, any who can be sent after him into the depths of space, for any who know the way. Anyways, one possibility is SH's explanation. The other: I think it's technically a mistake, but doesn't sound wrong because the verb is changed from 'to need' to 'to have a need for', but the 'for' and the actual verb are that far away that no one really notices they actually don't fit.. But he will need warriors. But he will need Sith and Jedi. But he will need any who can be sent after him into the depths of space. But he will need for any who know the way? The last one doesn't work, it can be fixed like this: But he will have a need for any who know the way.

Months. =P

We have been toying with this idea, but with Atton saving them instead (Mira is in the cell at that point, while Atton isn't). We later decided against it in favor of a different scenario. Though I wouldn't say this is definite yet..
-
Well, we have just started working on the inside of Trayus, so we'll try to make sure we include those options too.. =)
-
Not sure what you mean by that, Tricky, could you try explaining it some more?

Not entirely true, in 905MAL, the prison section is off the main route to the core, so if you're saving your friends you need to do more running around. I know, long time ago, but I just noticed it now. Actually no. You guys have to realize that this isn't just a random standalone scene that happens to happen on Malachor, but a conclusion to the story between Hand/Atton and Visas/Disciple, which began when the latter first joined the crew (remember Handmaiden expressing her disapproval of keeping Visas on board right after the medbay scene). And Atton/Handmaiden decided what they wanted to do when they swore loyalty to Kreia, and then left with her for Malachor. Sure, Malachor's dark energies may have caused Atton/Handmaiden to fall further down the path, but they are definitely not the main reason for the fight, not even close. Another thing, Visas and Disciple aren't jealous, only Handmaiden and Atton are, and they aren't sitting in any cell if Kreia took them to Malachor.
-
Maybe they got out in some other way.. =P Anyways, about the vs scenes: The whole thing is triggered when inf(Disciple/Visas) > inf(Hand/Atton). After this happens the villain (Atton or Handmaiden) has two scenes with Kreia, and they swear loyalty to her in the second. Near the end of the game, she takes them with her to Malachor to prepare for Visas'/Disciple's arrival. Now picture the villain in the Trayus academy amongst the sith, and their target is lying in a cell. Hm, well what on malachor would happen in such a case? =P

I never knew about this, what makes you think that? Jesus Christ, the exile bonding theory is so complicated. That's why I mentioned it. There is nothing to be gained by bickering back and forth on which is the strong and which is the weak path, since both can be both, depending on how you look at it. Agreed.
-
There are many different ways one can look at it. If we remember Kreia's sentence "It is conflict that strengthens us and isolation that weakens us, erodes us.", and apply it to this situation, with the threat being the Sith in the Trayus Proving Grounds, it makes sense why the 'revenge' path is the stronger path and the 'saving the party' path is the weaker one (since you don't confront the sith and waste your energy on saving your friends).

What mods do you think are essential to TSL ( besides TSLRCM :) )
bead-v replied to a topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
It's a mod, yeah, kind of. It fixes a lot of spelling and other string issues in the game. -
Mods that lower the prestige class level requirement?
bead-v replied to Tricky's topic in General Discussion
Ah, so that's how it goes (I haven't checked the .dlg). In that case just changing the second alignment check parameter to 50 would make it work then. =)
