  1. Yep, you are correct. There is no other way to explain everything about Kreia in the game. I needed to check the definition of a darksider to make sure, and it does fit with what you say. However, now I can't see how most of the dialog choices in the game that give you alignment points are able to alter alignment at all. Since in most of them, you are expressing your own opinion, not acting through the force while drawing power from either "good" or "bad" emotions. Following this trend Kreia would indeed be gray, since she orchestrated the elimination of both the Jedi and the Sith. As for what Vash says... if the bond between the Exile and Kreia is considered to be of the same nature as the one between Kaah and Vash, then the only explanation can be that a bond fades when a certain harmony between both people (their alignment being equal) is broken, which never happens with Kreia and the Exile. However, it is way easier to assume either that Vash was simply wrong (but then why did her bond with Kaah break?), or that the bond between the Exile and Kreia is something special. EDIT: Oh, and... if with "through Visas on Dantooine (and there are her darkened features as well)" you meant the scene in TSLRCM during the council confrontation, you should know that that aspect of the scene is not a restoration.

  3. However, Vash is talking about this from the Jedi perspective, meaning that both the master and apprentice are initially light-sided. When one turns to the dark side though, they have a LS vs DS conflict, and that could be the moment when the bond starts to fade. Since Kreia is neither dark nor light according to the Character Screen and what she says, she never really has that kind of conflict with the Exile's alignment, meaning that the bond wouldn't fade. An additional factor to take into account in any case is the ease with which the Exile is able to form bonds, which are stronger than usual.
  4. Well, that is sad news indeed, since I am already getting back into modding. (I haven't modded for so long, I'm just so eager to get back to it again!) I'm done with high school as of yesterday and the only thing that remains are the school-leaving exams, that I really just have to pass, starting next Saturday. Still gonna study for them, but after they're done, I was planning to devote a lot of my time to modding. So... me and VP will have to talk about this, as for everyone else, just know that my plan is to start Malachor back up in the coming month.

    Well, it should be.... in the final fight, the Exile is supposed to cut off Kreia's remaining hand. That's why she uses the purple lightsabers.

    I don't know whether his walking sounds are in the game, I mean, they don't play in the original ingame cutscene, the ones in the fixed cutscene are added from the movie. As for the gong sound: that's what I was thinking. Do you think you could find a similar sound for that? I made sure that the theme starts playing just as Kreia says u-NI-ted, having that boom in there would be great. After Sion beats her, there's this sound effect that I don't even know how to describe it, it plays when Kreia says "cast down".

    Actually, the cutscene still needs tweaking... From bigger tweaks, like replacing Kreia's model to have both hands, to further missing sound effects such as Sion's footsteps (more quiet than nihilus' but still present), this boom sound effect when the Dark Kreia theme starts playing, and there's another missing sound right after Kreia is thrown on the ground. All these are more or less minor though. There's also this weird gap in sound right after Kreia's force pushed by Nihilus, not sure why it's there.

    Pretty much, except that kreia's lines are playing normally, so the music only includes the sounds effects from the original. This means that Kreia's alternative line can be played as well, but it doesn't sound as good as the present one.. Might also be the fact that I have heard this cutscene probably a million times and have gotten used to it. =P

    That's a very good idea, I'm gonna check how animated cameras work when I get the chance... Uh... but that still means editing every single node, so it doesn't really help with Atton...

    Well, copying and renaming the atton.dlg, making him use it only in the hawk and adding a sitting animation to every node would work... still a lot of tedious work with adding the animations, however... =)

    Oh, no, the GenoHaradan mod isn't dead... but it's not being worked on currently, and isn't coming out anytime soon. It's waiting for its time to come =P
  16. Here's what I think are the major things TSL still needs. Other than that there are also tons of small fixes, restorations and improvements that would be welcome. The four things: - Nar Shaddaa (GenoHaradan) - M4-78 - Malachor - Telos Revisited
  17. At that point she believes she is Darth Traya, she is referred to as Darth Traya in the files at that point. And I think she still has the red lightsaber in vanilla.. As for the robes, that was a last minute cut, because testers didn't think it made sense. Vanilla...?
  18. Exactly, *Kreia's* dialog. It cannot be Atris saying those lines because it doesn't make any sense with the story at any point. It was a mix up most likely, since both characters were Darth Traya at some point. She is a boss that is fought in the endgame... Yes. Just look at the game files carefully, and you'll see..
  19. Testing purposes, REALLY early concept at the most. Those are the clothes she was supposed to wear on telos, but it didn't make sense so they removed it. Made up much? I just want people to realize there wasn't much more intended for Atris than what is already there. If you feel she needs a bigger role, that's okay, but you should know that it was not meant to be like that.
