  1. Controller name would also help a lot. Also again you don't need xpadder with kotor 2 on steam nowadays, did you try closing xpadder and then playing kotor 2?
  2. Generally speaking, if you played 1 and 2 before 3 and new vegas you'll probably hate 3 and feel meh about new vegas. If you played 3 and new vegas first it'll be extremely hard to get into the first 2. It's somewhat similiar to kotor and tor. They put the same name/franchise on it, but they have little in common (especially gameplay wise). You can try to play them if you like, but chances are that it'll be extremely hard to get into them. If you like 90's western rpgs though, the first 2 are excellent games for their time.
  3. I played through both K1 and K2 using Xpadder and Windows 10, having no problems. I also tried the new steam version on win 10 and had no issues. I did use the technical preview as a fresh install, not as an upgrade though. I used an Original Xbox S Controller for Xpadder and for the steam version I simply plugged in an Xbox One controller. Would be great to know what controller you are using. Also did you try reinstalling the game? What version of xpadder are you using? With the new version of k2 on steam you also don't need to use xpadder anymore if you are using 360/One/PS3/PS4 controller.
  4. I just finished a playhtough with this and TSLRCM 1.8.3B and M4-78EP 1.1 and I can confirm that it is compatible. The "remote tells you influence" mod works flawlessly and Kreia's colors also change. It added the small section to the medical section on citadel as it was supposed to. However, I didn't bother doing the dark shroud stuff so I don't know whether that works, I did get parts for it though so I imagine it does. I read somewhere that this may cause issues with the Jedi Enclave, but I didn't encounter any. This may be because I used the extended enclave mod, so I advice you to use it with this one. Really nice mod, it always bothered me that kreia always looked the same. The influence remote mod is also one of the most useful once ever.
  5. I just finished a male ls playthrough using this and I freaking loved it. By far one of my favorite mods in like 10 years of using all sorts of mods for this game. The Influence system is easily my favorite part about the entire game and this made it soooo much better. I was able to jedify Mira, Bao-Dur, Atton and Handmaiden, so everyone I could as LS male, not problems here. I'll just leave some feedback to each party members influence using this: Bao Dur: You have to get like 90% of all available Bao-Dur Influence throughout the game when using this, other than that nothing really changes. Handmaiden: You only have to get one or two points of influence while questing, there are a couple of juicy +12 influence drops when talking to her on the ship/training with her. While +2 influence can be somewhat disappointing sometimes, it feels awesome to get 12 influence. I got her to 100 influence very quickly, so maybe it'd be nice to change some of her +12's to +6's. Kreia: I used all Telos/Peragus Influence points for Atton, so it took me a long time to get her to 100. I think the Nar Shaddaa beggar scene gives you +12 and that finally allowed me to push through and I had to get some other field influence. If you wanna do all dialog with her, I'm pretty sure that you can't really afford to loose any influence while talking to her. With Vanilla influence you can pretty much talk your way to 100 with her, so it was nice to actually have to put a little bit of effort in by talking her with you. Mira: This is by far my favorite part about this: You are actually forced to take Mira with you. Just talking to her will not allow you to jedify her instantly. If you do Nar Shaddaa after Dxun it will not be possible to Jedify her, as what little influence you can get on Dantooine is not enough to Jedify her, so that is somewhat unfortunate, but there are plenty of Influence points for her on Dxun/Onderon. Atton: As I said, I used all +Influence points on Peragus and Tekis, I'd imagine if you play DS that might even be enough, but I had to get a few more points of influence from questing. Not a big change here tbh. Visas: I have to admit that I didn't really use her that much in my run, but I think you either get +6 or +12 when convincing Tobin to blow up the Ravager, which was enough for me to unlock all of her dialog last minute. Without that one it might have been hard to properly farm her, but as I said I didn't take her with me much. Just getting her regular influence points from talking etc. will not do you any good with this mod though. T3: There are tons of chances to farm T3 and you have to get almost all of them to unlock the Canderous/Revan holovid, but still not impossible. Now since I was playing LS, I wasn't really able to get that much influence with HK and GOTO and I'd like to note that getting Mandalore's influence points on Onderon + recruiting all the Mandalorians will only get you to like 70 influence with this, which doesn't unlock any dialog so you have to put a lot of effort into him. One small bug I noticed was that it sometimes didn't tell me when I got influence. At first I thought it was when you get +2, but I'm pretty sure it must be the points with no applied numbers, I didn't check but I'm somewhat sure those don't default to 8 but rather to 2. Again not 100% sure on that. Now what I just love about this is that you actually have to try really really hard to farm influence with this and you literally have to choose some party members that you won't be able to gain a lot of influence with. I honestly think that this is what Obsidian actually wanted: For you to pick what party members you would farm and which you wouldn't. And I love that, I have played through this game way way way too many times over the years, but this make me want to play through them again and again even more. With vanilla, you can get really high inf on pretty much all party members if you play it smart, with this you can't. And that's what I love the most about it. I can't talk about how this affects loosing influence as that pretty much didn't happen for me as I managed to memorize which parts gain/loose influence with which party member. Just losing influence once or twice may make it so you can't jedify someone, especially if you get -12. I also imagine that Disciple/Hanharr would work the same way as Mira, so you'd actually have to take them with you to jedify/unlock all dialog rather than getting everything at once. I'll test that on my next playthrough. I'd love to have a version of this that adds numbers to those that have none and integration to the point where it tells you how much influence you gained/lost, but this version is certainly playable and it has gained a permanent place in my override folder. Thank you so much Hassat Hunter, this is by far one of my favorite mods of all time! Also I highly advice the use of tk102’s "remote tells you influence" mod as it is very handy to figure out how much influence you just gained/lost.
  6. Kinda off topic, but could you be so kind as to give an explanation on how to do that? Would love to increase my FOV to a higher value.
  7. Have you tried reinstalling your mods? From what I could tell the update didn't do that much (I downloaded it from steam to check out controller/widescreen support) and only few things were put into override, most of which are images for controller buttons. I guess reinstalling the game (any other version that is not steam), reinstalling your mods and then copying over your save files might work. You could try the same for the steam version. This is really weird, as I don't see what that update might have done to change lightsaber models.
  8. Many people discovered Kotor from the Xbox Versions and thus started playing by using a controller. I started the same way, but quickly switched to the PC versions once TSLRP was announced and more and more mods were coming out. So I had to get used to Mouse/Keyboard controll. However, being more of a console player myself I eventually discovered a fine program called Xpadder which allows the mapping of mouse/keyboard buttons onto a controller. I even soldered myself an adapter to connect the original xbox s controller to my pc, and installed custom drivers to get it to work and began playing kotor that way. If you also hook your pc/laptop up to a PC it gives you the feeling of playing it on the xbox but with better graphics and full mod support. With the help of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7a3XeWhC-4 I even got the controlls to be very close to the original version, especially after making a few modifications to the layout myself. The only really annoying part is switching which force power/ability/grenade to attack with, but I got an ok workaround for that. Now a new update was released for the steam version of tsl, which adds native controller support among other things. While there are plenty of other ways to use widescreen or for installing/managing your mods, the native controller support is something that is unique to this version. And as close as I have gotten with my current xpadder layout, it's just not quite as good as the steam versions' native controller support. Now I'd imagine there are plenty of people who don't use/don't want to use the steam version for several reasons (don't want to rebuy the game, don't like valve/steam, prefer gog over steam, don't like drm, prefer physical etc.) so I was wondering if someone would be willing to try to make a mod that enables the same native controller support for 4CD/Collection/GOG.
  9. I completetly agree with ChrisC26. However, it's already really nice that you are doing this for k1 and you are doing such a fantastic job. I already finished my annual k1 playthrough, but I might just do a second one when all of these are released. I love Xedii's work, both OTE and overhaul, but I feel like what you are doing is a mix of both. It's not as different as his overhaul, but also not as close to the original as his ote's. Can't wait to see the rest of these. tsl would be great, but don't feel pressured to do so, getting these for k1 is already awesome enough.
  10. Well I'd trade having those 30 fps from the NTSC Version over the international content any day, pal50 sucks so much. More so for games like SSB Melee or Halo CE than this one, but all PAL 50 games feel kinda "slow mo" to me. Expert Sphere grid is pretty damn nice though, really makes it worth it to play through it several times, dark aeons are nice bosses for the end game I guess. For X2 the changes aren't nearly as game changing imo, I never liked the hole pokemon create farm stuff anyway, last mission is pretty nice though. I also enjoyed the little cutscene they did for HD that creates a bridge between X and X2. X is one of the few RPGS that really drew me into it's world and made addicted 24/7, I even shed a tear at the end, hell I still did when I played through the HD version. Such a well made game, and imo it aged pretty well. But then again I really love the PS2/ XBox/Gamecube generation 3D graphic style of less details and polygons, so maybe for others it looks old and ugly today.
  11. Always cool to see someone with a good taste in games. I just ordered a new copy of Jade Empire to play through again as I lost mine, can't wait for it to arrive. Probably the last Bioware game I really enjoyed. I haven't finished X2 HD yet, but X HD was a blast. They did a great job with the textures, especially the enviroments are so much more beautiful. Some say the party faces are too different from the original, but I don't mind much. 60fps also feels great.
  12. If I had to pick 1 it'd have to be Halo 2 (the original xbox version from 04). Been playing that ever since it came out and haven't stopped for more than a week at a time. PC version was nonsense but all I had when they shut the servers down (outside of lan) and even though Master Chief Collection is a buggy broken abormanation of it, at least I can play it online again with a decent population and I'm very happy about that. Like TSL, it is broken in many ways since it was rushed, but in h2's case the glitches enhance the gameplay and there is just something about that game that makes me really happy. Really hard to pick a single game though, so I'll follow Black_Rogue's example and list some others in no particular order: Shadowrun (360 fps) Prince of Persia Sands of Time Trilogy Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid Series Final Fantasy VI, VII and X Halo: CE (f×ck 3 and everything after) 1st two Generations of Pokemon Games, childhood nostalgia and all that Jade Empire Chrono Trigger Starcraft Brood War and Starcraft 2

    Gamecrash on Iziz

Well talking about Onderon crashes: I was wandering if there were any plans to fix these in a future release of tslrcm? You guys already did such an amazing job fixing a hole bunch of bugs already (and most recently the swoop forfeit bug which was oh so annoying), so it'd be great to see this one fixed as well. Using the 4CD version, I remember having to disable soft shadows or frame buffer effects or some other graphic setting when going from the starport to the merchant quarter. However, when recently playing while using the Kotor Collection version I was not forced to adjust any settings but still got random crashes on all Onderon modules, none of which I was able to reproduce.
  14. I came here since I had the same issue and found this thread via google. I managed to fix it. However, I thought I might have issues in the enclave as I installed Kreia's Assorted Robes Collection and found out it was incompatible (good thing I didn't bother to read the list of compatible mods before installing...). The only details on said incompatibility I was able to find was that I might get issues in the enclave. So I warped there and got the blackscreen issue discribed in this thread. I figured maybe warping there wasn't the best way so I downloaded some save games and got the "the jedi masters don't talk" bug. So I decided to uninstall the only mod I had installed which actively changed the module: Extended Enclave 2.2. And guess what? It worked flawlessly, even when using warp codes. However, I then checked the mod description and I thought it was really weird for a mod that was supposed to work with 1.8.3 to not work with 1.8.3b, especially given that some of the people in this thread use 1.8.3. I then realized that I screwed up installing the enclave mod. Not properly reading through the notes, I only installed the droid planet patch and not the main mod. So basically, putting back the backup files from the enclave mod and then properly installing it (first the TSLRCM option then the droid planet option) fixed everything for me. Hope this helps the other users in this thread that are having issues. So I guess I'm fine now, unless kreia's assorted robe collection will give me any other issues?
