  1. For me personally, 1920x1080 would be perfect. But I have no idea how many people still play it in 4:3. It is a 4:3 game afterall, so maybe 1600x1200? Would it be a lot of extra work to do 16x9 and 4x3? Given that kotor won't play 4k biks, I'd say those two would be the highest res we can get for cutscenes. Unless the steam patch changed the bik version, I haven't tried that.

    ...A Leveling Fix

Oh I almost forgot: you did overdo it with the featgain though. I had like 90% of feats on every party member, t3 even ran out of feats to pick at his level up. Some jedi classes gain like 4 force powers on some level ups which is pretty ridiculous as well. I really think only changing the exp would have been enough. But one can simply solely copy the exptable and have that. I guess it does make sense to get more feats with a vanilla playthrough though, as I doubt you'd get higher than lvl 15.

    ...A Leveling Fix

So I just finished a playthrough with this and K1R + Brotherhood of Shadows. I really love it, pared with the restored insane difficulty it actually makes the game challenging. However, even after 100%ing the game, I was only level 18 at the end (very close to 19). So I think if the exp requirement for 19 would be what 20 is this'd be perfect. I'll definetly keep using this in future playthroughs. Usually you are 20 after Brotherhood of Shadows, sometimes even after only completing the first Orion visit. With this I was like 17 when I finished Solomons Revenge.
  4. Since I have a very similar problem I'm just gonna hijack this thread: I have a mod installed that changes the model of the jedi/dark jedi robes. So logically any mod that creates a new robe will look like crap since it's texture will be based on the old model. What I want to do is go in, tell those added robes to simply use the same textures as the default robes do and be done with it. I figure that you have to edit some rows in a .2da file to do that, but I can't seem to find the correct one. Any help would be much appreciated.
  5. Much love for doing this. Can't wait for this to be out.
  6. Of course I wasn't serious about you being the cause for the removal, I'm sorry if you took any offence in my joke. Also I wasn't talking about the entire mod, but rather the hole Selkath Kolto delivery background lore. I understand that a lot of work went into restoring M4-78 and I really appreciate everything that was done to improve one of my favourite games of all time.
  7. I think you misunderstood me, I never had any issues with the VO to begin with. As a kid I simply preferred combat over talking in Kotor so I hated the parts with lots of talking and little fighting. I was never bothered when listening to the Selkath, but I guess now I see which part was annoying to people. As for the theory, wasn't the droids task to prepare the colony for their colonist and provide them with all they need once they arrive? I'd say it's not too far fetched for them to start buying Kolto by themselves once the Sith arrived, especially if the Sith informed them about their war with the Republic etc.
  8. Well as you said, things can be changed quite easily. Of course if you choose to go with your version, the whole Selkath plot would make little sense. However, you could also argue that with the end of the Jedi Civil War the galaxy wide Kolto demand decreased drastically so the Selkath chose to allow small traders (like the one in the old version of M4-78) to sell kolto independently of the government. I mean the trade between the droids and the Selkath could have been going on for years, or simply been a very recent thing. I'm pretty sure it's not that hard to spin a chain of events for the Selkath thing to make sense, if one wanted to do so. But what's wrong with the Selkath? I never had any issues with them or their voice-over. Care to elaborate on that? I always disliked Manaan the most as a kid, but that was due to it being a lot of talking for the first half. Nowadays, especially with the addition of the pazaak tournament, it's one of my favorite planets for sure.
  9. That Manaan stuff sounds really sick. As others said, I think it'd be a great addition to the mod, and also improve K2 as a whole. Both games are already well connected due to K2 reusing Dantooine/Korriban so I think getting a connection to the other planets would be great. Obsidian probably only put those planets in to save time, but I still think that it's great that K2 does such a great job in following up the events of the previous game. Any idea why the Selkath was cut? I mean outside of HH hating Selkath.
  10. My PC Version is what you described while my xbox version is exactly like the screenshot (except for it being the xbox version). Interesting, these might be differences between the initial batch of copies and once that were made later. My Xbox version is from the EU launch day while my PC version should be about a year older.
  11. Oh definitely. It's probably a bigger task than the restored content, and that took long enough (though I guess without team gizka it would have been finished a lot sooner). I'm just saying that we already got this far, I mean the game is almost completely different from the original Xbox version, and fixing the endgame is the next big step for the game. After that all that'd be left would be to fix the influence system and probably some of the minor stuff that wasn't restored due to having too few game files to do it properly. Maybe it's time to get a team together and start planning! I'm sure plenty of people would love to help out in whichever way they can.
  12. I think this is just part of a bigger issue. The ending is still pretty bad, even with everything that TSLRCM did. Even with some of the additional mods out there. As people said in this thread, there simply isn't enough in the game files to really piece together the ending, especially given that I feel like Obsidian themselves don't really know what it would have been with more time. I think we really need some sort of Endgame Restoration/Enhancement Mod that really puts together the endgame. It would require a lot of making stuff up and probably a good amount of voice over splicing, but I think K2 deserves to be completed at some point.
  13. I obviously wasn't being serious. But plasma is female given the actress that portrays her. Also as I said Boba Fett isn't dead, he is alive/dead in the sarlacc as far was we know.
  14. So I guess that stasis clone had a gender change, replaced fett and later joined the first order as cpt plasma?
  15. Oh god that still gives me cancer. I really can't believe how much they screwed up with the clone wars tv show. It has some great moments for sure, but some of the stuff is just ridiculous. I guess you gotta give the kids some sort of reason for the clones still being the good guys despite killing the jedi. Still better than what they did to Mandalore.
  16. Oh I am aware of that, I thought we were strictly talking canon here. And in the current canon I don't believe any clones have managed to stop the aging process thus far. And how is that relevant to random doodads being canon? Anyway from doing some research it seems that battlefront is both canon and uncanon so I guess we are free to interpret whichever way we wish lol. Either way, boba fett is popular enough that I'm sure that he'll eventually be confirmed to have survived the sarlacc just like he did in legends.
  17. Battlefront is uncanon afaik. I was not talking about Boba, I was talking about the idea of a clone having replaced boba. Given that all other clones had accelerated aging they'd be 60/70 in rotj, so I was saying that I highly doubt that a clone replaced boba.
  18. Either way, isn't boba fett still alive/dead inside the sarlacc in canon? Though I think one of the newer books stated that jabba's barge crashed into the sarlacc and it's semi-dead now with jawas looting it. So I guess he could be alive but it hasn't been written yet? I really hope they don't do too much of the hole cloning bs. One of the few things I actually like about the EU now being "legends", the whole palpatine's clones story line was pretty stupid imo. Also wouldn't any clone be old as hell and/or dead by the point of return of the jedi? Boba Fett seemed to be in a decent physical state in the movies, I really can't see him having the body of a 60/70 year old tbh.
  19. Great mod for sure. It's quiet annoying having to install Fresh Toasty's stuff atm, then dropping your blasters over it and then someone else's lightsabers. Would be really great to get all three from the same source, similar to Quanon's party skins. Really great to see that it'll soon be possible to install texture replacements for everything from only a couple different sources. Those blades from the op look really sick, can't wait!
  20. Well if it's just a global variable you could probably change it via KSE after having talked to Atton about it.
  21. Thanks for the quick response. I understand how that can be a problem, and as I said simply switching to a lower rez version fixed the issue completely. I would definitely be willing to test out any future changes if you need someone to see how it runs on a lower end system.
  22. Amazing work, definitely has a permanent place in my override folder. Those blurry textures even bothered me way back in 03 on the original xbox. On a site note: I had major lag issues on the ebon hawk with the XL version on a weaker PC. I toggled every other Ebon Hawk mod I had (animated galaxy map, ebon hawk 2012) before I realised that it may be this one. Switching from XL to M fixed the issue and increased my fps from 5 to 60. I'm guessing I just didn't have enough video memory to handle the XL textures. So if anyone has any fps issues on the hawk, try using a different version. Loading times are NOT the only thing that is affected like the readme suggests.
  23. I feared as much. Guess you could write a program that either checks the game's memory for influence change or the latest autosave and have that program copy the correct file to the overwrite folder. But having to run an extra program for one mod seems a bit much. I guess one would have to live with that then. I'd still be an awesome mod if creating new audio files could be done without too much trouble.
  24. So the issue is that it'll always use the same file? I guess if you could get the game to rename files within override you could put as many pictures as you need in the overwrite and change the names dynamically so it always uses the correct one. K1 is so limited by all the stuff that's hardcoded :/ Gotta give props to Obsidian for improving on that in k2 (especially with menu resolution being dynamic) despite only having 1 year to make the game.
  25. Is that hard coded into the game? If not there should be a picture in the game files that corresponds to what you see. I guess dynamically changing that to their current alignment might be hard though. Other than that I think that any way to easily create new voice lines that sound reasonably close to the original would be a huge step for kotor modding. It is possible to create new modules now so the only thing that is keeping new content back is the issue of voice acting.
