  1. you're right they did. left eyelid = eylidL (should be eyeLlid) right eyelid = eyelidL01 (should be eyeRlid) left eye = eyeL (should be eyeLA) right eye = eyeR (should be eyeRA) However, using the renamer or replacer in mdlops makes it so that the face blows up in game. How can you rename these parts without ritually sacrificing the model? Edit: I changed the name in the ascii using notepad and recompiled the model. he doesn't need the Hawk to fly high. Edit2: using VP's headfixer, at least his placement is correct, but his eyes are still out there:
  2. I converted and imported Hapslash's Obi-Wan model and remodeled my own even more to resemble it to the best of my abilities (it feels like I'll never be done). However, upon loading it in the game I took notice of something: his eyes never move and he doesn't blink. I was afraid I did something wrong and removed the corresponding files. However, it seems like it's a problem with the original head as well. The problem: blond-haired head (pmhc06) doesn't move his eyes or blink. Can anyone confirm this? Could it be possible to fix this?
  3. Then it'll clash with the default body skin. I redrew the ears, teeth and even the eyelids and I'm now coming to a point at which I can't really tweak anything to make it look even more like the real thing. I stretched my skills farther than I thought I could, which is a good thing I guess. I plan to release him with the correct clothes for each class which you see in the character creation screen.
  4. Could you make a tutorial or a small checklist of what to go through in order to make a completely custom head model? These look great btw. I'd love to make some alternate skins when it is released.
  5. Crossover is a commercial application of wineskin by the same developers. If I'm honest you'd better use bootcamp and run fallout 3 and NV through windows. I dabbled in wineskin for years but that really is the best solution.
  6. Hey thanks! I'm still tinkering, but I'm afraid I can only do so much. Right now I'm still bounded by the original place of the eyes. Do you know if it's possible to move these, including the eyelids? Or would this break the head?
  7. 90% of modding is tweaking things you already did.

  8. Still tinkering. Changed the jaw, tweaked the nose, reskinned the eyebrowse to more resemble kenobi's, added more beard and changed the haircolor to something darker and added new eyes. I like him a lot more now.

    Requests

Modeling a new head is incredibly difficult so this is not a very easy and simple request. This is amazing DP. Does this work with all animations? I seem to remember that adding new geometry to heads was impossible. Did this change?
  10. That's a good idea actually, though I believe his site hasn't been used in a decade. You mean on his sides?
  11. Yeah those are really hard to nail, when I have time I'll take frontshots of his face and overlay them with renders of the model to see what's different.
  12. Yeah, they're still wavy!
  13. Well, Shem already said he didn't mind, so there isn't much you can do about that.
  14. Been tweaking his model and have started aging the skin. It's hard getting a good picture ingame because he can't keep his face still for a second.
  15. I seem to remember that Hassat Hunter made a compatability patch for the TSLpatcher, for this mod.
  16. Wow. I never knew about this. You're saying these don't work ingame? Edit: I just listened to all of the files, I'm pretty sure that some, if not most of these are from k1.
  17. Yeah, it's really hard to get away from the source model. I suppose that's the case with any model though. Any tips on what to change in particular?
  18. I've been working on something new last week and I've made enough progress to start a new thread. Kenobi I've been remodeling one of the pc's to more resemble Obi-Wan's face in Episode III, I also decided to completely reskin the character in a higher resolution so I upped the skin of the original model to double its size and painted a new one from scratch. I'm really happy with how the facial hair turned out but I'm still tweaking the hair on his head. The facial skin is everything but final, I still want to age it further. The eyes and ears are from the original model and I still want to redraw those. Keep in mind that I'm still tweaking the model as well so if you have any comment on the facial structure please tell me! Let me know what you think and if you have any tips. I need a fresh pair of eyes on this.
