  1. Working on it. May not be for awhile.
  2. I'm very sorry about the incompatibility of the Handmaiden sister fix. I was quick to assume that it was fully compatible, and for that I'm sorry. I'll work on a version that is compatible.
  3. Yeah, I'm not a real canon-psycho, and I can't imagine Bead is either. I personally am also not a real big fan of raw cut content either. IMO, cut content needs to be restored with context.
  4. We're keeping stuff within the realm of possibility is all I'm saying, without retconning or making outrageous plot twists. Party members will stay as true to their characters as we can allow - like Mandalore and Visas aren't going to start up a heated, passionate relationship so late in the game. No new characters, except for the generic Boss Sith guy - most of the 'new' NPCs added to the game will be people you'll kill in about 20 seconds anyways.
  5. It's half and half. We're working to repair the game to make it as enjoyable as possible with the cut content that we've been given in the game discs. If we were to restore cut content alone, there would still be many plot holes and action in between left untouched and unpolished. This is one of the large parts of the mod - to make and add things that 'would' fit into the game but not so much as to mess with canon or the overall feel of the game. For the stuff it does add, it is well within the scope of the game. And to be honest, I don't even think that 'TSL as was intended' is even a rational dream anymore. Unless Obsidian finishes the game, we're stuck solving a puzzle that's missing about 1/3 of its pieces. The only thing we can do is do our best to make something discernible out of the pieces, filling in whatever gaps we can - without changing too much of the puzzle.
  6. She would probably still be on Telos, but not included in the new Jedi Order, I would guess.
  7. The floor tiles look WAAAY better in 2009, honestly. I'd say just rework the building textures mostly.

I am puppet to no one. You know, I'm pretty sure you can have both Handmaiden and Disciple in your party. The reasoning being that their character data is stored in different areas in the 'party table'. int NPC_PLAYER =-1; int NPC_ATTON = 0; int NPC_BAO_DUR = 1; int NPC_CANDEROUS = 2; int NPC_G0T0 = 3; int NPC_HANDMAIDEN = 4; int NPC_HK_47 = 5; int NPC_KREIA = 6; int NPC_MIRA = 7; int NPC_T3_M4 = 8; int NPC_VISAS = 9; int NPC_HANHARR = 10; int NPC_DISCIPLE = 11; The issue, of course, is that the Handmaiden and the Disciple occupy the same space in the party selection screen. The only ways I can think to counter this is to either re-add whichever character you want to choose to the party (not removing, just readding) or making an armband that manually spawns either Disciple or Handmaiden. The problem with making someone a puppet to someone is that it messes with the current configuration of the party and will probably cause compatibility issues in a fair number of places in the game.
  9. The green Twi'lek Deesra Lur-Jada from the first game is supposed to have survived. I wanted to make a mod where he was still running around somewhere too. I suppose it could be done, considering he uses a twi'lek VO. I wouldn't add him to M4-78 though, maybe another planet entirely. This is the importance of staying somewhat true to canon, or at least a canonical framework. As long as it doesn't contradict existing canon, or seem like really terrible retcon or just a dumb idea in general. An example is that the Exile canonically goes to Telos. Yes, this is true, but what he/she does at Telos is up for question. It has some effect on the game, but the general framework is intact. Concerning the end though, we don't really know what the Exile will do. Yes, one source can say that the Exile returned to Dantooine to finish his/her training, but that's only one possibility, if we even bother doing it at all. Other possibilities include, flying off into unknown space, returning to Exile, maybe even possibly dying when Malachor blows up. Who knows? The point is, that the endings are going to be based off of what flows the best in the game. If the Exile needs to epically walk off in the final scene of the game, that's what's going to happen. That won't be the only option of course, but you get what I'm saying, right?
  10. I don't recall where I had mentioned that. I remember we were considering it at one point, but I don't remember announcing it publicly anyways. Hard to say how the ending will play out. It will probably just follow what makes the most sense, whatever that may be lol
  11. We're finishing up some 905 right now. Can't go into too much detail, but the cutscenes that will take place in 905 are mostly done. Some still need to be scripted, but we're getting there. I don't know if we mentioned before, but this is the area in which the Exile has the option of saving his/her party members. We made good use of the torture chamber of course
  12. I would try to mix it up with the colors a bit. Kavar has blue, Vrook has green, Zez has what, purple? If we're going by here likely jedi Class, it would probably make most sense to make her a Jedi Guardian. Otherwise, of the other available colors you'd have yellow, silver, orange or cyan, right? am I missing one? I'd maybe go with cyan.
  13. There is a torture room, it's on the other side of the academy (Trayus Crescent/Prison)
  14. It's alright, we want people to be involved with and stay engaged with this mod. We may not always be working on it, but we do want you guys to know that we aren't just going to stop. Questions are always nice, but Bead's right - we want to keep a lot of it vague so that when you do play it you have the feeling of playing a fresh ending. We will let you in on some general details of course, but we're at a spot right now where the scenes we're making are meant for surprises . Eventually, we'd like to get around to another trailer for you guys to watch, as we've made considerable progress since that last trailer. Also, comments on the Proving Grounds Tour (or anything in general) are welcome.
  15. Genoharadan is one of them yes, whether it will be of such ginormous proportions though is yet to be determined. Don't forget Disciple's Holocron quest, and let's just say that Telos isn't all that it could be either.
  16. Nope, you're missing a few, including some that haven't even been announced yet
  17. I've made the mistake of guessing when it will be done before. For now, I will say that it's in progress. The end will come like a thief in the night. Yes and no. The companions do have some extra stand-alone scenes, but they are only (as you say) bits. There isn't a big, secondary plot that involves the Exile's companions and the challenges they went through, but you do get to see tidbits of how they got to where they ended up (in prison). That's one thing we tried to solve early on. We held that she was thrown from the Ebon Hawk when it crash landed, but the details of how she got there are still a little iffy. For instance, there's a scene on the Ebon Hawk that she's in and she shouldn't be, because at that point she should have fallen out already. We already have something planned for the party's escape, and no it won't involve running away to safety. All I can say is that you'll have to wait and see. As for the line recited by Visas/Handmaiden, it will play at the end of the game, where it is intended to play.... if Visas or Handmaiden are in your party at all. To address other ideas... As far as a librarian, Bead and I discussed an NPC that would discuss with you some of the lesser known facts of Malachor V. Nothing too fancy, just some elaboration on what the Trayus Academy was built for, a few comments on the history of Malachor, etc. This NPC will not attempt to lure the Exile to the dark side as it would be pointless this late in the game. After a long discussion, Bead and I have decided to include a segment in the Proving Grounds where the Exile will face a currently unnamed enemy after some meditation. Also, coming soon, we will give you a screenshot tour of the Trayus Proving Grounds.
  18. You know guys, if you didn't enjoy the Voice overs offered by TSLRCM for Kaevee, there's nothing stopping anyone from: - Rewriting Kaevee's dialog - Revoicing Kaevee Being that you would probably just be rewording some dialog entries and making some mp3s, it should be possible to swap out either the old dialog/mp3s with the new ones and have a new and improved Kaevee. I just listened to a few of the lines again and I personally think the voice doesn't really match up with the character. (That and there are a few times where the fluctuations in tone and volume cause clipping and distortion in the audio).
  19. Totally kidding about the sucking part. But seriously, with all of this cut content, you start to wonder if some of it was cut for a good reason. I'm sure the Genoharadan wasn't one of them.
  20. Hardly. She sells Jedi artifacts, she doesn't give them away for free. If anything, the particular items should be added to Daraala's store inventory.
  21. That's because the script is contained under Rims and in the 605dan_s.rim It might be possible to do it this way, but guess what - how do we know it's what Obsidian intended? This is where things stray away from what OE intended for the game, and what we want to do with the game. Guess which I'm for? The latter.
  22. Ah... This sounds like the bug that needs to be fixed then. I would attribute this sort of thing to carelessness though, not necessarily an intentional bug. Knowing that she runs off, I do rather like that notion, but of course, having her deleted just won't work. I would maybe have a scene of her running away, but have the camera fade out. Instead of deleting her though, just jump her to an inaccessible section of the module. That way, at some point you can have her jump back with no real hassles. The other option is to rework some things so the globals are stored not on her, but an invisible placeable instead. I'll work on the script for it. Though, knowing how busy I usually am, don't hold your breath for the fix just yet.
