It's true, sadly. Hopefully the next version will be compatible... Actually, it will be compatible. It's just a matter of when I finish it.

It's actually supposed to crash your computer. It really is fluff, to be honest. I wish I could fix that bug though. It happens for some people and not for others so IDKWTFIUWT

Malachor VI: An Ending Mod
VarsityPuppet replied to VarsityPuppet's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
The Vs. scenes are supposed to happen when the Exile has more influence with either Disciple or Visas, AND either Atton or the Handmaiden has joined Kreia to head off to Malachor. These encounters should happen regardless of whether the PC saves them. -
Malachor VI: An Ending Mod

Which is what I said, just explained more simply I have a tendency to do that. None of this matters really anyways. We can't really just change Kreia's VO's for the part. The point I was getting at is that of the two paths you choose to take, it's not going to be strictly "Rescue friends, breeze through a few enemies and follow the light" or "Neglect friends, fight a shitload of tough enemies and represent the dark". Yes, they will be distinguishable, but don't expect it to be night and day (the main differences will be intact though). -
Malachor VI: An Ending Mod

That is one way to look at it yes, probably the most common. I'm just encouraging you guys to open your minds. That is a good point, but It don't think the Exile's bond with the party is as strong as the bond with Kreia. At least, nothing quite as strong as that is mentioned (except for Bao-Dur of course, who's long gone by the time of Malachor). Add to that what Lord of Hunger said too. -
Malachor VI: An Ending Mod

Good thoughts, both of you. Good thoughts, indeed. However, did it ever occur to you that it could actually be the other way around? For some people, abandoning their friends is a really hard thing to do, but for others it isn't. If said person were to take the path of revenge and neglect his/her friends easily, wouldn't that be the weaker path? Suppose it were the other way around, then saving your friends would be the weak path, since you're so attached to them. My point is that which path would make you weaker or stronger here is relative. Before you bring it up, yes, Kreia does explicitly 'say' which path is which, but remember that she is a compulsive liar and manipulator. -
Malachor VI: An Ending Mod

A little update on Malachor VI: We've been taking a break for awhile. School has started up for Bead-V and I, and a little luck and help from God has flown my way and I ACTUALLY HAVE A JOB NOW! I probably mentioned this already, but yeah. Along with helping Stoney with some TSLRCM stuff (further TSLRCM stuff ), I've been working on one of my smaller mods, which will hopefully turn out to be awesome. Last you heard, we were bug testing 904 (which isn't complete, but we don't want to waste time on that one section now) and we moved quickly to some 903 cutscenes. Granted, not all of them are finished, but this allows us to start on one of the mainer points of this mod: repopulation of the Academy and adding some semblance of a puzzle/mission for either side. As you guys know, we plan to give the Exile the option of either taking revenge on those who've been attacking him/her or saving his/her friends. We've pretty much decided how the "saving friends" side will go, but we're open to suggestions for both. We don't really have any idea what we'll be doing for the 'take revenge' path. -
They already did, it's called TSLRCM. The mod is made by Zbyl, Stoney and a host of other hard workers.

...... That is ridiculous. But, at least we can upload pictures now.
-
You da man, Doc! isn't vBulletin just great?
-
Nothing. It doesn't upload my picture. Does it need to be under a certain size
-
Pretty sure I uploaded one, but it's not showing up. Is this a problem with vBulletin, or should I just reupload it?
-
The Kreia Green Fix is now available in the downloads section. Or just click the link and you can download it immediately.
-
I don't know if they're going to change that for TSLRCM, but MalachorVI definitely has that. On another note, if you guys want to use my Kreia Green fix for TSLRCM, have at 'er. They are basically the same kreia models used in-game with just 36 bytes of code changed or something like that.

I'm not terribly impressed with the blog posts about gold. Delete them?
-
At least it isn't crashing like 3 times a week.
-
Other than the 'childish' remark, I'd have to agree. That whole issue is done and over with it seems.
-
If all else fails, we could always have people upload to imagehost.org or something.
-
I suppose either would work. Maybe a forum to announce the work or w/e and then a link that leads to the download which is hosted somewhere on this site? Idk, you know what would work best Doc.
-
I think it's a great idea. We should see if we can improve it a little bit over the TUCE from LucasForums.

Does this increase number of badguys/make them stronger?
VarsityPuppet replied to BoogieMan's topic in TSLRCM
If I remember correctly, it should be in one of those lockers behind those sealed doors that open up once you shut down the reactor. -
Mod - attuning personal crystal without kreia
VarsityPuppet replied to Markus Ramikin's topic in General Discussion
Good stuff, Markus! You'll get more downloads if you double-zip the mod, fyi lol -
Does this increase number of badguys/make them stronger?
VarsityPuppet replied to BoogieMan's topic in TSLRCM
That could very well be the case, honestly. I've only really ever played the HK factory to test it though (sadly) and for that particular playthrough, I didn't give him much attention. I hope it's not because I suck at the game . I've been playing it for 5 years. -
Does this increase number of badguys/make them stronger?
VarsityPuppet replied to BoogieMan's topic in TSLRCM
Sounds like all of my HK factory playthroughs. To be fair though, it's not like I upgrade HK-47 optimally. I'm thinking that the autobalance may have something to do with this. Perhaps there is a great jump in difficulty around levels 20-25 in the autobalance.2da. This might explain why some people think it's crazy easy, and some crazy hard. Just theorizing though, I could be totally wrong. -
Problems with the Peragus fix mod
VarsityPuppet replied to Markus Ramikin's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
They are an improvement over a 'ghost' model of a miner. Plus, if I remember correctly, didn't the droids there have flamethrowers?
