    Took a whole bunch of iterative fiddling with replacement UVs and edited/added meshes, but here's the end result of my first lightmapping test with KBlender:

    Thanks to @seedhartha for adding that feature to KBlender. Works pretty well once you have everything dialled in.

    This version is for K1CP. Now I just need to make some slight revisions to the version for my Dark Side Ending Cutscene Enhancement mod (mainly just baking shadows for the different stunt crowd).

      Wow, it’s amazing how much difference the new lighting makes. I didn’t realize how much I overlooked those hard edges on the models. Blech

    I have never gotten widescreen to work in the past, so I'm genuinely pleased by this:

      If you have the GOG version, you can still revert to the legacy version.

      Makes sense. Like I said, I didn’t know what was causing the crash, but then it turned out to be my Nvidia drivers.

      Yeah, you wouldn’t normally think it’d be a big deal, and tbh I also probably wouldn’t have noticed either except for I was working on a mod with water bumpmaps and it wasn’t working with the latest exe.

      Once I noticed it, I could not unnotice it.

      I was running into a load screen crash and other random goofy errors, which I was convinced may have been caused by the GOG versions. I ended up needing to update my Nvidia drivers and that fixed the main crash I was facing.

      However, it seems like subsequent versions have been adding all sorts of dlls and random other files for what I assume must be compatibility fixes, but from what I've seen, it's not for the better. Weird controller support, losing bumpmap support, lightsaber textures missing and... well who knows what else.

      So back to basics.

    You guys think that Disney's pumping out just too much Star Wars stuff at this point?

    They're making a new show based on Andor from Rogue One and I just don't care anymore since they've got like 6-7 other series coming out and more movies about to come out. I've lost so much interest in modern Star Wars, not because it's necessarily bad but because there's so much of it. It's OK to take breaks now and again.

    What I'm curious about is how faithful they'll stay to the original game and how many liabilities they'll take with their own reimagining of things.

    Also if this is some episodic type deal like FFVII I'm probably not gonna bother.

    I seem to be having issues with your Peragus Tweak mod where it prevents me from being able to play the holo-log entries at the terminals on Peragus and the Harbinger. Have you made any changes to this mod since its release? I have really wanted it in my playthrough but I am worried it will cause bugs. What is the best way to fix this? God Bless

    Would you want a Kotor remake? Rumors of one are surfacing again.

    I'm personally leaning towards no. I'm too paranoid they'll just make a trash product loosely based on the original game that plays and feels completely different.

    And if they do remake the first one, I really, REALLY do not want them to remake the 2nd one. It will almost definitely not implement the cut content, whether that just be the minor story consistencies or M478. 

    I kinda just want a Kotor 3 that eliminates a lot of the story in TOR and revises it it to make Revan's journey and the threat in the unknown regions less underwhelming... but that's probably asking for too much.
