Yeah it was unrealistic. I'm on Dantooine now and I'm starting to think you guys must have been working against a deadline from Lucasarts
I'm running into some of the same problems as before, for instance the -30 mod.
It's kind of discouraging, to be honest. I'd prefer to see the same work revealed in fewer releases/versions; there are only so many playthroughs one can squeeze out of this game.

I don't. I get my first lightsaber on Dantooine, and stick the player crystal in it to get some extra attribute point bonuses. Then I go beat Visas with Force Powers without having to backpedal.

Well if I'm mean to you, it's because I care.
I really do, you know. I think this project is awesome and I am genuinely trying to help. It kind of feels bad that all I do is criticise. If I had access to source scripts, I'd work on solutions to problems myself, before posting about them, within my limited capacity of course.
For instance I don't know if you got around to fixing the skills lesson, but I'd love to help with that if not.

I use:
- Aurora's Rebalance, the one that used to be available on the old Gizka site, that among other things brings the attack bonus back to what it used to be like in Kotor 1 (except I don't use its modification of the exp gained because it leads to your NPC followers having more xp than you).
- Improved AI, so for instance Hanharr will use his wookie rage against me
- Movie Style DS Transitions, because IMO the cracked skin is just stupid
- Workbench Crystal Attunement (available from the Download section here)
- I used to use VP's Peragus tweak, but apparently that's not compatible with 1.7 even though it was with 1.6, if I understand right (fail!).

Meh, so if I understand right, VP's peragus mod is not integrated, but it's also not compatible any more?
Well that's a step backwards. Isn't VP one of the big contributors? I'd have thought you guys could work together, combine your efforts, rather than exclude each other's work... I miss the improved corpses.

Here's the first one: Has the Prologue always been unbeatable on Difficult? I can't pick up the mines so I can't enter the engine room and fix the engines. I don't seem to ever remember having that problem before.
EDIT: nvm, I forgot I can get the proton missile.

I have no idea what the supercontent mod is and I've had this problem. The list of mods I have is very short.
I'm sure it's AI because the problem is simply that Bao-Dur rushes off to fight these guys before you can make your dialogue choice. So it must be the script governing his behaviour (= AI).
Perhaps compatibility could be achieved if the Zhugs were moved away a little, so that that they wouldn't be in aggro range. Not in the scene where they talk (which is earlier and other things happen in the meantime), just right before the fight, when you're making that choice. No idea if it's practical.
Or maybe: start the scene without Bao, and only make him show up together with the third party member, once you've chosen.

Improved AI by Stoffe - while it mostly works, it cause some problems with one scene on Nar Shaddaa.I can't imagine playing without this one. Are we talking about the scene where it interferes with choosing a third companion for Atton+Bao, for their fight vs mercenaries? Or is it something more serious/gamebreaking?
If it's just that, it would be a real shame if this entry stopped people from playing with it.

Which one do you mean? I play with Aurora's "Rebalance" mod (slightly tweaked by me) and have no problems.
Hm... weird, unless I'm doing something horribly wrong that mod is nowhere to be found on the Internet any more. I took it from Gizka's site ages ago, and it's been with me through 4 or so system reinstalls since then. I'm surprised it's not on Kotorfiles...
But yeah, like Hassat suggested, the first thing I'd look for with your bug is a mod conflict.

. There were quite a few instances. For instance when you removed the Batono response to clicking on him as B4-D4. (Yes, you "moved" it to other circumstances, but since those circumstances are in practice unreachable as B4, you effectively removed content, I will continue to insist on that).

More recently than my two-part Report, none. But,@ Markus; what stuff did you bring up? Recently, I mean? :?- some of the problems there existed in 1.5 and I think even 1.4 too and still weren't fully fixed in 1.6 (and with some of them I have no knowledge of that it'll be different for 1.7), like e.g. the skills lesson.
- I'm wondering (after all the confusion you put me through, I have really nfc) if the suggestions about the releasing of prisoners on Malachor were indeed being considered, and if so, a hypothetical push for a quicker release of 1.7 could have caused them to be dropped
- some of the stuff you disagreed with but I'm secretly hoping you're not the only one paying attention and will be overruled

Wait, what? T3 talks? What the hell?
Is this just during the prologue, he talks to that other droid? I guess that is... er... what's the word. Tolerable. Although it still doesn't make sense when for instance in Nar Shaddaa warehouse you don't see his dialogue except beeps and bops, either. (And it works out great).
That's kind of the whole success of T3 as a character - he has so much personality even though we never know exactly what he's saying. Or, at least we didn't used to know...
