Was gifted the Steam version of K1 for my Birthday, and Flawless Widescreen works for it (it wouldn't work with my Retail version). Now I can play both KOTOR games in Widescreen!

Anyone else following the Skyrim paid mods controversy? I'm curious what you all think of that idea, and if, theoretically if that made its way to kotor modding what your reaction would be.

I predicted this in my blof 2 months ago. I have been fighting all weekend and it is not over. Modding has been changed forever now. They have been planning this for 3 years. This was no victory. This was a test and modding fopr Fallout 4 will not be the same as it has been. Pay for Mods will be back just packaged differently. This battle will mirror the SOPA battles. It is the worst thing that could ever happen... so sad, it is an end of an era

Make sure you read the entire page on that second link. They seemed to have solved the problem with the removal of Genieo but they warn you not to use the uninstaller but to follow the instructions listed on that page instead. It seams you downloaded Genieo and something else recently from somewhere. It likely came bundled with something else you downloaded without your knowledge. Any ways, whether that is true or not I would follow the instructions.

I can help you remove the adware. Read my BLOG on security and follow the instructions on how to remove PUPS. It should also fix your problem. PM me if it doesn't and I'll give you more advanced step by step instructions. BTW I have done the same thing a few times and went to work on a Saturday/Sunday LoL

Modding Kotor to be just the way I want it after a reinstall can take hours, but the final result, usually, is worth it. Then a few days later, I usually uninstall and reinstall again and have a different mod setup. It's all part of the fun.

Decided to replay Witcher 1... And made an interesting discovery - Witcher can use weapon models exported directly from NWMax (official Witcher 3DS Max exporter doesn't work for me)... I have a lot of modding ideas;) Will need to experiment with animated models.

Vanilla Darth Nihilus is too easy of a boss, but giving him Force Death Field instead of just lvl 1 Force Drain makes him way to difficult. He'll sometimes use Death Field 3-4 times in one turn. The power can be really broken sometimes when used by enemies.
