  1. Chris Avellon interview podcast, most of it is fluff and poorly hosted, however, some things are fascinating. Worth checking out, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSy8Oh2fxtw

Does exactly was it says it does! An observation: Having this active requires it to be installed dead last after EVERYTHING ELSE. If, say, I were to add"High FPS Fixes" or other patches through KotorPatchManager with "...Progression" already active, I lose the ability to back out of the level-up screen(effectively restoring the vanilla game's constraints where it would not let you exit the level-up UI to return to normal gameplay at all until you leveled up.) This I confirmed via live testing/gameplay last night: I had to uninstall and re-install "....progression" after adding the KPM patches so it effectively sits at the very END of the installation order. This fixed the issue and I could back out of the level-up screen freely. FYI I'm using KMRP 1.5.1 and KPM in my setup.

  2. Oh, I genuinely didn't realize that was the case. Maybe I was wrong then. I'm going to have a look through those mods, and this mod, at some point in the future and if I find anything I'll report it or contact you about it.

  3. 100%. Soft conflict also with Prestige Classes for Visas as well as both alter the same .dlg file. I know because I'm running both mods in one play-through.

  4. I have all the systems fully integrated now! Preparing for another development update post later today! Then I will do a content expansion for a unique species interactions in the games and an in depth character creation system with lightsaber customization. I’ve added some custom voice lines as well for Bao-Dur as well and an opportunity to get your lightsaber early from Atris. if you persuade her or challenge her to an Echani match on the mat and defeat her she will grant you the lightsaber back. That will set off a condition to change Bao-Dur’s voice lines to talk about how Malachor affected him, and changed him. How he is a different person now but if he held on too much to that past version of himself it could hold him back from being able to help you in your current mission. Basically a monologue about being present. He will suggest to the exile that maybe you should let go of the past, discard the old lightsaber and go on a journey to rebuild it to better connect with who you are today, since the lightsaber is such a symbol of a Jedi’s identity.

  5. That's what I had in mind. I was just going to wait to see if there were more files that I might need to correct. What do people think; should I make a hotfix/patch after a week or two? Or after a certain number of files? Of course, I hope that there won't be any other erroneous files that I messed up on. With the Kreia model I had tested and took screenshots, but forgot to copy the correct mdl files from the test Override folder into the final mod folder.

  6. I'll have to check my old files. I may have already done something with a collar fix once upon a time. Maybe I can do something again but in 4x. I'm not sure; I haven't tried them with the High Quality blasters installed. I suppose that my model is just as compatible or not-compatible as the vanilla model. I only re-arranged the uvw map and scaled up the main texture. I didn't do anything with the blaster texture that the model calls for. I do know that the vanilla blaster only works with the 01 droid, and none of the 02-05 versions, due to the appearance.2da being capable of calling for only one texture at a time (they end up using the C_DrdWar02-05 texture for both the droid and the blaster). I do like the solution that they came up with for the Kotor 1 Community Patch (in theory since I haven't tried it in-game) where they removed the blaster from the C_DrdWar.mdl and make it so that it uses an equipable blaster. I assume that my 4x textures can be used with that model. My uvw fixes don't have any drastic fixes, they're almost imperceptible in-game unless you're really looking hard.

  7. @redrob41: Are your Sith War Droid (C_DrdWar01 et al) model tweaks compatible with Sithspecter's High Quality Blasters mod? I recall there were issues with the guns not being textured correctly (or at all) if certain fixes were not accounted for.
