About This File

WARNING:
You must download all seven (7) parts of the BoS 1.0 before trying to unpack them. The unpacker should unpack them all in a row if you start unpacking the .part01.rar file!!!

A note about the 1.5 bundled release:

The 1.5 bundled release has some bugs fixed, but it is also in preparation for an eventual 2.0 release that will only have 1 installer. This 1.5 release still has both the 1.0 and the 1.1 downloads, so you will need to download both files.

Question (NOT DIRECTIONS!!!!!!!!)

Is necessary/advisable install https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1258-kotor-1-community-patch with Solomon's Revenge?

Some posts talks about install Solomon's Revenge first of all, and the info of the Patch page says install after  K1R, so, the order of installation would' be:

1- Solomon's Revenge

2- K1 Restoration

3- KOTOR 1 Community Patch 1.7

4- ...

?????????????????

Just to see how it looks (and check if it works to me) I've used the Save included with the MOD (starting at the Ebon Hawk) and found a weird thing. I activated the galaxy map and you can see a new destination but there is no image, no name, no description and in the galaxy map is shown as a white square.

Anyway you can activate it and travel, seeing the cutscene taking off and leaving Korriban. No other cutscene (arriving... where?) and when you regain control of the game, through the windows of the EH you can see the skybox of the landing zone in Korriban.

When I try to leave the Hawk appears the selection party screen and, made the selection, the screen turns completely black except the blue cursor of the game. No loading screen. The game is not crashed cause the cursor moves and still can use Escape key and use the menus, moreover, if I "move" the character I can hear her steps "in the dark". (From the same Save I tested travel other planets with no problems).

Anyway, doing things "correctly", I can unboard the Hawk and trigguer the quest.

Aside, with a few things seen, the MOD looks nice, very nice and runs fine.

Good Work

I've finished all the plot related with BoS SR. A lot of things I'd like to comment. Maybe the most disappointment is the lack of updates and actualized help for one, so big, important and interesting -if not the best- MOD for KotOR 1.

In spite of the troubles with the .ini files (included all the workaround needed for get a correct installation), the several crashes of the game (usually entering/changing to other modules), some graphic issues, and -A MUST- more depurated dialogs and cutscenes (digging in the story is NICE ...but it would be better find some balance), a lot of them too long and/or which options/decisions leads nowhere and change nothing in game that only manages to break the user's game immersion, this is a very good MOD.

I love the MODs that add new areas, stories and characters and, as I said before, in spite of troubles and things that I like more or I like them less, this is a GREAT, GREAT WORK!! no just by its size, so, if my simple opinion helps, I encourage all the BoS SR team not let it abandoned and that they continue improving the MOD.

Thanks all of you

Is the file "ship.mod" inside the zipped BOSSR package? Maybe that, and possibly other, files didn't get extracted with the rest.

Open up the changes.ini file, and change every / to \

it will usually run fine then.

1. Find the changes.ini from the tslpatchdata folder

2. Open it with a notepad or some other text editor.

3. Go to "Edit", then "Replace All" and Replace / marks with \  marks and then change marks \  to / only  in the date and the N/A line.

For everyone having problems with installing it with TSL Patcher, just do this and you should be set.

So im trying to patch windows and android versions and both times it installs, then i get this line and cant move on:

• Error: Unhandled exception: Cannot create file "D:\!Media!\Games\Android\Kotor 1 mods\!!!!!3 Restoration, Rebalance, Fixes\!Brotherhood of Shadow\bos_sr_1.0\backup\modules\ship.mod". The system cannot find the path specified (0)

Im primarily trying for android, but dled also windows version, same, dunno what to do. It DOES have that file in that folder. Anyone? Besides manualy copying files, am i missing something?

Edit: I saw just now the advice above and aapplied it but no change... 😢

I have a few questions about this mod in general.

Is this compatible with the GOG version of KOTOR, since I have tried to play through the mod but there is a side quest that will not progress, making the quest unbeatable. not to mention I am unable to access the lower levels of the czerka facility.

And lastly, is it compatible with K1R, I know that it used to be but I dont know if thats still the case.
