1. Info

===========

This mod attempts to rectify the clone effect as much as possible by differentiating the characters where applicable, reassigning the sound sets and giving the characters different equipment to fit better with the story.

2. Installation:

=========

Run the patcher and let it do its magic. If you also use the Sunry Murder Recording Enhancement mod, copy the .mod file from the compatibility folder and overwrite the one in the game's "modules" folder.

3. Compatibility:

=========

The patcher ensures compatibility with most other mods, except those which also use .mod files that alter the same areas as this mod.

A compatibility patch for Sunry Murder Recording Enhancement mod is included.

I have one complaint about this mod. the description does not state it, but it also changes the clothes worn by certain NPC's and I think that the description should say up front. for example, the Sith uniforms change to A New Hope-style Imperial uniforms.

Already stated in the description, and visible in the screenshots.

Is this compatible with K1R yet? If it isn't, I'm not downloading it.

Installed it above K1R and didn't have any problem with it.

Officially the answer is no.

Do you mean you installed K1R first or the NPC Overhaul first?

One issue I had was the Sith Disguise Quest on Taris. I could not get a second set of armor for Carth naturally, so I had to cheat code it. Also, Dak Vesser appeared as a human when I first met him, but became an orange Twi'lek when I encountered him in the Korriban Cantina. Did you have these issues?

I believe the recommended method is to install NPC Overhaul first, since it overwrites some pf K1R’s changes (thus breaking the game).

That's what I thought. So far I have had few issues, but the children in the Outcast village do not appear for some reason. Also, do the Jedi Robes in the screenshot come with this or is it a separate mod?

The children probably won’t appear because NPC Overhaul overwrites that module. As for the robes, I have no idea.

Right, that would be better.

On my side, the mod was installed "after" K1R, but after finishing Taris. That may be the reason I didn't encounter any issue during the playthrough.

Okay, I'd like to record a few observations about this mod and K1R. I have noticed few to no issues. However, some NPCs do not have altered appearances or display inconsistencies:

-The Sith Soldier you meet outside your apartment on Taris does not use/drop a Sith Assault Gun and instead drops a blaster rifle.

-Garouk keeps his default appearance

-There are too many older male human models in the Lower City Cantina on Taris and just outside the cantina.

-The Bounty Hunters inside the Bounty office have their default appearances.

-The Duelists on Taris do not wear different armors and all wear the Combat Suit.

-The Republic soldier outside the escape pod in the Undercity does not wear a Republic-style military uniform. (This really bugs me)

-Black Vulkars in the Lower City and in the Vulkar base keep their default appearances.

-Lur Aka Sulas has his default appearance on Dantooine, but displays an altered appearance on the Ebon Hawk when you take him there to meet Sasha. (This really bugs me)

-Handon Guild and Rickard Lussoff have their default appearances. (Handon Guild should at least have a different look because he is identical to Jon in appearance.)

-Rilka and Elise have their default appearances.

-Anchorhead tradesmen on Tatooine and Duros miners all have the same appearance(either as older black males with the same head as Nurik Sandral or the same head as Niklos). Additionally, the two Czerka miners accompanying the Mining Foreman near the sandcrawler both look the same.

-The three Gammoreans on Tatooine display different appearances in the Hunting Lodge, but all look the same when they ambush you at the Accident Site.

-Tanis Venn displays wears the Zabrak Field Armor in the Hunting Lodge but wears his orange shirt and vest when encountered in the Dune Sea(I do have the Kill Marlena mod installed. Perhaps that is a factor).

-The Dark Jedi on Tatooine keep their default appearances.

-Elora keeps her default appearance. (This is the one that bugs me the most so far. She looks too young for Sunry!)

I hope this information helps you out!

Update: I noticed the mercenaries in the Mercenary Enclave on Manaan keep their default appearances and the Echani Mercenary is not present. Also, I have a recommendation: Playable Echani . You can use the textures from this mod for the Echani NPCs on Manaan.

So I kind of assume that K1R just overwrites NPC Overhaul’s modules just as well. Can’t quite blame mods that are announced to be incompatible about being incompatible, right?

Also, I noticed that Uthar Wynn does not wear the robe pictured in the screenshot. Instead, he wears an armored robe identical to the one the Sith Governor on Taris wears.

I guess, but they should be compatible and I hope the observations I provided will help them with making it so.

I wish there was a way to edit comments. Lasty, the two students pictured in the Sith Academy Screenshot both use the same African-American head model and are typing at nothing for some reason...

This MOD is good, but somebody has noticed if you take a soldier, then on the Taris, occupied by the Sith, our hero will run for a long time in the uniform of the soldier of the Republic. Once again in the uniform of a soldier of the republic when around there are full of enemy Sith soldiers. And for this our character is not killed. Although the Sith the whole planet is searched in search of soldiers of the Republic.
