About This File

This mod adds a new fat commoner male model, ported from The Old Republic MMO. It replaces the generic appearance used by Handon Guld on Dantooine, who, judging by the dialogue he is involved with, was originally intended to be an overweight character.

Additionally, there are several other changes that have been made to the Calder Nettic murder investigation sequence:

  • Handon now sports an injured idle animation to conform to dialogue mentioning he is holding his injured side
  • Two erroneous fades to black in penultimate dialogue lines have been removed
  • When the player solely accuses either Handon or Rickard, the other will now run off after being given permission to leave rather than standing around
  • Master Bolook has had his appearance changed to a green Twi’lek to match one of Rickard’s lines of dialogue referring to him as a “green-skinned nerfherder” (apparently he was green in the original Xbox version, but was changed to orange for the PC version)

N.B. - You will need to load a save prior to entering the Dantooine Grove for the first time in order for this mod to take full effect.

Oowboy~ awesome! This is going to be an amazing Dantooine's experience with those features on. Thank you for this mod, DP! Can't wait to give it a go:scooter:

Just want to point out that if you make Bolook green, there will too many green Twi'leks on Dantooine. Lur Aka Sulas, Deesra Luur Jada, Garrum(if you download a mod restoring him and his master), Crattis Yurkal, and Karal Kaar.

SpaceAlex created a unique appearance for him in his unfinished mod here

While that is no doubt why Bioware made him orange for the PC version, he is called green by Rickard at one point, hence the change. There's an alternative solution to the problem, which may be addressed at some point in the future.

Would straight-up pasting the Bolook UTCs into the override folder correct Bolook's appearance without any of the other changes? Or is it an "install everything with the tslpatcher or nothing" deal? Answer? No, the UTCs in the override folder by themselves do nothing. I'm reluctant to do the full mod, since A. another mod I have installed also affects Appearances.2da (Kainzorus' Clone Armors), and B. the TOR commoner does look a bit off-style.

Regarding what JasonRyder said, it's frankly one or more of the other Twi'leks who should have their color changed. Bolook is explicitly identified in English VO as green, the others are not. Bioware deciding to make him orange is yet another example of the incompetence of the PC port.

@DarthParametric If I may, I am currently making an NPC overhaul mod and plan on recommending this mod for Handon as one of the mods for players to install alongside mine. Please let me know if you would be okay with me featuring this appearance of him in my screenshots and showcase for my mod that I will be posting at some point soon. If not, I will omit those shots and respect your wishes when featuring my mod.
