Sith Holocron Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Right after you meet and fight Visas Marr on the Ebon Hawk, the scene shifts to the medbay. You see Visas Marr on the Med-bay bed looking like this. It looks like someone laid a statue down on a table. C'mon folks . . . could someone please make her body position look more natural because this is ridiculous. TSLRCM compatibility would have to be a must. 1 Quote
134340Goat Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Hmm. Would this not maybe require a custom animation/model? I suppose one could use the animation for when a character's been knocked down by a Force push or something, but the idea is she's unconscious, so she wouldn't have her arms up and moving around, and as far as I know, the animation used there is the only one there is for a dead character on their back And while I'm looking at that, might not be a bad idea to push her down a bit. Her head's going off the pillow! 1 Quote

JCarter426 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I'll keep it in mind. I had planned to take a look at that scene eventually, though there are a couple others ahead in the queue. I got taken away from those when... the data was taken away from me. But it's since been recovered, fortunately. It's been a while since I've seen the scene, but I remember they used the regular dead animation rather than something like prone (as seen with Saul Karath's death, for example) and a new animation might indeed be desirable. Visas doesn't talk in the scene, so that makes it somewhat easier. 2 Quote
HK-47 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I've always attributed it to the limitations of the game engine. Other than her needing to be moved on the bed, I think she's fine. If something needs fixed, it's Atton's lines. The responses to the questions "Is her kind rare?" and "What's a Miraluka?" are switched. I feel like this was either discussed, or a mod was made that fixes that. But I don't remember which and where if either are true. If not... 2 Quote
DarthParametric Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 I think she's using the "dead3" animation in that scene? I don't have a convenient save to test with, but try this and see how it goes. 1 Quote
Sith Holocron Posted May 3, 2018 Author Posted May 3, 2018 I am headed to work in just a bit but I have saved the file and I'll test it when I get home. Thanks in advance! Quote
Sith Holocron Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 So I tested DP's fix. Looks better to me so thanks, DP! 2 Quote
DarthParametric Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 The legs are pretty awkward. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do with them because of the way the skirt balloons out if you try to position them closer together. I wonder if she wouldn't be better off being put in a kolto tank, but that would require redoing the entire cutscene. Plus the whole hood underwater thing would be a bit awkward. Quote
Sith Holocron Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 I'm satisfied what I received but if folks wish to continue discussing the topic, I won't consider it hijacking. Quote
Guest Sam Fisher Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 Because the legs are spread apart, I think putting the arms at the sides makes it look noticeably more awkward that the vanilla. I don't think this is a fixable one. Quote
