Hey all,

After quite some time i'm once again playing Kotor II, with TSLRCM of course. Currently playing through Peragus as T-3 close to the Hangar. I was watching the logs from the Docking Officer, and one of the logs is about the Mining Droids repairing the Ebon Hawk. The Dock Officer said 'I dont know what maintenance is up to', well we all know that HK-50 was able to mimick the Maintenance Officer. However that leaves a question, which i am still wondering about, why was the Ebon Hawk repaired?

HK-50 was waiting for a ship to dock to ship the Exile of to wherever. So why order the mining droids to repair the ship? Is it just plot convenience? Anyone have any theories about this?

I agree with Lucy that HK-50 wanted the Ebon Hawk ready to fly in case they ever needed to leave Peragus. Sure, the droid tells you, the Exile, to stay put and wait in the medical wing of the station. Yet I think HK-50 was just trying to keep the Exile from wrecking his careful plans or being harmed by exploring the station. You would think HK-50 has basic piloting abilities and would want to leave aboard the Ebon Hawk rather than wait for another ship to pass by.

Hmm yeah having an alternative and the Ebon Hawk ready to fly in case it was needed makes sense. However still a bit confused about the time frame, the exile wakes up a day after the lockdown has commenced right? So HK sure was taking his time with moving the Exile. Well thanks all for your insights, makes it a bit easier to think about this plotline.

Wasnt it t3 repairing the ship? I do not think hk50 knew that t3 had the ebon hawk operational. Even bao-dor questions the ebon hawk reconstruction about how strange it was. To which t3 objects to. Also explains why t3 is the only one who can operate the auto pilot (which again would have been another reason as to why hk50 didnt think the ebon hawk was operational because no one would have thought that a random droid would do that) I do not think HK had much to do with the ebon hawk. It was t3

Didn't the Maintenance officer say all of the droids repaired the ship? That would mean either HK ordered them to or T3 knew how to access them using HK's reprogramming. Which could also mean that T3 could have potentially saved the miners but either couldn't or chose not to in favor of leaving the station. ;)

Well it is possible. I mean his mission was to ensure the exile would survive (sort of). Would also explain why Atton wasnt killed because Atton is a pilot.

Well T3 was shut down till The Exile contacted him when he was trapped on the administration level. Besides if T3 could command the mining droids then he wouldnt have to fight them in the hangar bay.

I think Atton wasnt killed because of the security officer who installed an override switch to prevent anyone from breaking into the jail complex. So the droids couldnt access Attons cel.

Speaking about Atton how the heck did he end up at Peragus, he wasnt a miner. Perhaps arrested because of an engine discharge?

I think the plot goes as follows: HK-50 arrives at Peragus and starts doing shady stuff with the droids. He orders the droids to repair the Ebon Hawk to secure for himself an escape vessel. Droids finish repairing the Ebon Hawk, HK-50 discovers that he can't pilot it. Then HK-50 decides to wait for another ship.

No, Atton's room was flooded like all the rest but the force cage he was in protecting him and Kreia and Exile didn't die because they were trained to resist those poisons.

Only the med bay patients had toxins administered. The rest of the miners were driven into the dormitories by the mining droids and the lockdowns, and then the dormitories were flooded. No where else was. I doubt HK had the resources to concentrate the gas leak into the whole facility, hence the dormitory trap.

Atton's probably trained to resist poison too anyways though.

In Atton's dialogue in the cell, he states:

{Sarcastic}From my beautiful view in this security cage? Look, I heard some explosions, some emergency alarms, some toxic gas pouring out of the vents...
