Cav377 1 Posted January 25, 2017 This might belong in Site Feedback, but since this is a problem I'm having ONLY with TSLRCM 1.8.5 and no other mods on the site, I figured I'd post it here. Like the title states, I can't view or download TSLRCM 1.8.5. Specifically, it gives me an Error page that says, "Sorry, you don't have permission for that!" and further down, "We could not find the file specified". Again, this affects ONLY TSLRCM 1.8.5 - every other mod I've tried can be downloaded just fine. I've tried clearing my cookies, clearing my cache, restarting my browser (I've even tried in both Firefox and Chrome), restarting my computer, and trying it both logged in and logged out. Nothing works. Again, this is particularly strange because it's just TSLRCM that's affected. Any help would be appreciated.

MotleyNerd 8 Posted May 31, 2017 I'm having the same problem. What the heck's going on?

bead-v 251 Posted May 31, 2017 Is there a thread somewhere that explains what exactly is going on?
JCarter426 1,214 Posted May 31, 2017 Well, I'm privy to what exactly is going on and could explain if I had permission to, but then those who could authorize such permission could just explain what's going on. So I'll just say the issue will be resolved with version 1.8.6 of TSLRCM and 1.3 of M4-78, one way or the other, if it isn't resolved before then.
Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted May 31, 2017 And here's the part where I'll likely get the hate pushed on me . . . Currently, both TSLRCM and M4-78 EP have KOTOR1 music in the end credits. That's porting. This was pointed out by more than one person around December and January. Behind the scenes, there was a big to-do about this in the Staff Chat section. I was waiting for a firm ruling by the site owner - Tyvokka - before proceeding. I asked him for that confirmation and received it yesterday. Until the credit situation is resolved, TSLRCM and M4-78 EP will not available on Deadly Stream. Things to note: 1) Both mods are still available in their original state over at MODDB. If you need to download either mod before it gets reinstated here, you can get the mods there. 2) I already had new credits commissioned. JCarter made some new ones that updated some information, made them look a lot nicer, and removed the information that stated in was version 1.8.3. Hassat Hunter was and is the major hold out in changing the music. 3) No submission is above the rules.
JCarter426 1,214 Posted June 1, 2017 I can't comment on the issue, but regarding the credits, I have all the new stuff set up and I'm just waiting for word from Zbyl and Hassat Hunter now before rendering out the final version to be put into the mod. I understand they have some other stuff to finalize first, and they're both busy guys, so that's why that hasn't happened yet.
Markus Ramikin 107 Posted June 2, 2017 And here's the part where I'll likely get the hate pushed on me . . . You, bead-v, Fair Strides and 3 others like this See, kids, reverse psychology works. Hassat Hunter was and is the major hold out in changing the music. Huh, what's the rationale?
zbyl2 811 Posted June 2, 2017 Basically the rationale for using K1 music was "to connect both games" and because it sounded cool. No one had any objections to using K1 music in a BIK video bach when we first suggested it, so we went ahead with it. It's not really HH's fault as I could easily just take the credit video out of the installer at any point lol.
Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted June 2, 2017 If you remove the video from installers, substitute the video with a silent version, or put in a new video, I can approve the mod again.
