Mod recommendations for a new playthrough?

I'm starting a new playthrough and i am planning on having mods. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Note: They have to be compatible with TSLRCM and M4-78 EP.

All of Hassat's Addons, Varsity Puppet's addons(peragus, Malachor Rank tweak),

Extended Enclave by me and danil-ch, etc... Coruscant, NPC Overhaul, actually most things on deadlystream are good choices.

NOTE: 

all Xarwarz files has to be flipped e.g. download xn view, extract all files, select the files with xn view then click "batch processing" then select your Kotor 2 folder, revert to tga, and flip vertical. Done!

"Kill The Ithorian" mod. Must have. Game ain't the same without it.

Statement: that may have been slight exaggeration on my part, Master.

 

 

There's a list of compatible mods in the TSLRCM forum on this board, so look through that.

 

Me, I just play with TSLRCM, DS transitions, Kill the Ithorian, WCA, and some small balancing tweaks of my own. To me all this graphics-enhancing stuff is off the point, a kind of ungraceful aging ;) I mean, I don't need new textures or models to enjoy Planescape:Torment, and that's an even older game... but hey, that's me.

I tought that Coruscant was M4-78 uncompatible

I can wait until the helmet overhaul launches. And what folder in K2's directory?

All Xarwarz files (and the fx files from multiupload) go to the Kotor 2/ Override folder. Don't forget to flip them.

I really enjoy your little mods, as they feel like things that OE would have done if they had time to polish the game. :)

NiuHaka's head reskins are nice (Wound in the Force and Dread Cyborg). Also good are DeadMan's vibrosword, quarterstaff, pikestaff and weapon sound mods. Stoffe's high-level force powers and combat arena mods, the Full Force Mod, Darth333's floating lightsabers, ChAiNz's multistim mod, Inyri's Mass Effect blasters and BryanWee's blaster models, oldflash's lightsaber replacement models, Jesse1066's hi-res footlocker reskin and hi-res muzzle flash, Drewton's released reskins (Revan, Nihilus, and HK47, if I recall correctly), Sharen Thrawn's Nar Shaddaa Skybox, are all good to have. Most of these are either on here or somewhere on KotORFiles. SithHolocron's graphical tweaks are nice too, and of course you should probably try out Quanon's new Malachor textures. :P

 

I also ike Vanir's gameplay tweak, but it doesn't use TSLPatcher, so it requires some manual tweaking to get it to work with TSLRCM. I think mainly it's spells.2da that has to be edited.

 

On my current playthrough I'm also trying out QDJ and VP's RandomSabers 6 pack, which is available on here.

Funny, when I first joined the community, I made the TSLPatcher setup for this mod, but my computer crashed... I also submitted it once on here, but SH declined it since I couldn't contact Vanir for permission... Oh well. :D

JedishemL makes some of my favorite Kotor/TSL mods. The majority of them are completely compatible with the TSLRCM, and are easy to install.

His Sith Lords armor mod overwrites the Jal-Shey mod armors so be careful with that if you have a different mod that uses that armor type, and I'd be very hesitant to install his Super Enhanced mod if you have both TSLRCM and M4-78.

Other than that, there should be no problems. You should go check them out.
