i have not checked all NPC textures so yes some of those might get a fix indeed.

What i have not checked fully yet:
 
weapons and small item textures

NPC textures and clothing for them 

those are the things that will likely be more prone to having issues, though i can have missed a few other types of textures too, the game is really big and i havent been to all locations to see all meshes.

yeah i know :) i have made remasters before this one, my morrowind remaster likely had 20 updates and it still has a few issues, its a lot of work indeed.

TGA2TPC is finnicky. The last release version has some bugs with non-square/non-power of 2 textures breaking. Especially animated textures.

All textures are like the originals, just 4x the size.

oh, wow, 996 files from KOTOR1 is also used in KOTOR2. 
Half my work is already done for TSL ;)

yes the files are now of course merged, no need to have an update patch file when there's a full new version :)
Changes are:
* Better grass and underwater plants
* Recreated a few other textures

What exactly is it that I'm looking at?

 

I know you're making new textures via AI but are all these trees in the background of Dantooine and Telos part of the skybox or are they in-game models?

 

Those Dxun plants are definitely in-game models, are they part of the module's model (like Dantooine's normal trees) or are they placeables (like footlockers)?

These are all 3D models, 1000'ish trees has been placed on the various room meshes, though many of them are simplistic 2D plane trees in a "X" shape (to look like trees from all angles). the big pine-like(?) tree is a full 3D model though. I have like 6 full 3D trees, various plants and bushes which are also full 3D models, then i have these which i can use in the backgrounds, usually quite far away from the player so he can't get too close to them, often placed on top of hills and cliffs:
