  1. I'll have a new set of pics later, but I toned down the grunge a fair bit. just so you know :-)
  2. well, I have to stress that you should always be using the latest and greatest tslrcm only. the older versions are full of bugs and the newest version has more content. in the end it is far less if a hassle usually to have a fresh install and use the latest tslrcm and m478 ep. as for the variables, I'm not sure which one would be the culprit.
  3. my skin does look like his, but mine, when it is done, will hopefully 99% completely replace the vanilla texture. it seems like drewton was enhancing the base texture rather than recreating it. new screen for today:
  4. Unfortunately, I have to lock this now, rules are rules, blame the system
  5. working on HD-ing the base mandalore skin, head is almost done, a bit more tweaking i think screen:
  6. Are you using any other mods? if so please list them and link to their download pages if you can.

earlier this week in design class i felt bored so i tried my hand at making a kittat (sith )writing font, easier said then done, i got the outlines mad but kerning is a killer. its just time consuming, on another note i found a tool to make kotor and neverwinter nights fonts, i found it on nwvault and i lost the link.

  13. Hey guys, so i got sidetracked from my other mods, again good thing is it's almost ready for release (hopefully next week), as the thread title says, it's a vfx overhaul, i am aiming replace most if not all VFX and FX textures. plus its an open beta so i want lots of opinions from people before i get to the final release, download the beta pack and check out these screens DOWNLOAD BETA 1 (if it doesn't download right away hit ctrl+s or go file > download)
  14. just did a playthrough all the way to korriban to try m4-78 again, only to findout i installed both it and tslrcm to a different folder (*facepalm*) i was wondering why they werent using the logo i made XD guess it's time for a fresh reinstall,

  15. Hey guys, I think I have something exciting here, it isn't bullet proof yet but I think I am hot on the tail of creating kotor tool maps, well, the kotor tool ".MAP" is actually a jpeg renamed to MAP, basically a shot from the top down of a module's floor (not that tricky to do), then, the info of interest, and hard-ish part is in the mapinfo.BFD this is what gives the module editor information like the offsets of the picture and I think the rotation. I'm a huge hex Noob, but even I can tell what the structure is, theoretically one can just append to the bfd an entry. BFD is a pretty popular GNU format I think, If I am correct this means it can be turned into an xml, something a little more familiar to people, and then turned back to the bfd. Here are some links to look up: http://collaboratory.emsl.pnl.gov/sam/bfd/ ttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_File_Descriptor_library http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_Format_Description_language So, I am not a great programmer, but I think a tool could be made to easily edit an append new map values. What might this mean for modding? (If I am not mistaken) custom module mods can be made easier, no more manual coordinate finding and GIT editing to place things any more, we can make up the maps for Kotor tool that hadn't been made yet. this thread has a mirror-thread on LF. I'll post any updates I find here or there.
  16. i think i now know how to make kotor tool maps, and i know how to edit the bfd files ktool comes with.

What would this mean? Is this for kotor1 and kotor2? In theory, how would this help with modding /projects? Thanks!

ill still be around though :)

  19. Lol, it might grow on you the reason I chose to have it was to increase the similarity between the previous mandalores and this one, without adding too much to him, I guess I could always give him a cape but this felt more in line with Mandalore to me.
