According to an inside source (my school server tech who does work for EA), the new Battlefront won't use the Frostbite engine, and all the devs are going crazy trying to make a completely new engine for it.
I hope the new one is like the old game story wise. The setting and characters looked cool, normal lightsaber combat and martial arts. Though I dont have high hopes for this new version.
