Yes, and it is also found on Starwarsknights.

You can't with KOTORTool. You can however with the GFFEditor.
-
Got the same long ago... then crashing movies if they run, but now everything runs perfect, no black screens, no crashes. Catalyst definitely seems responsible for that yes... but from I can tell the latest version (or anyway, the one I got) work fine again.

I remember the old 1.8.1 icon for TSLRCM that could, after extended gameplay, suddenly turn upside down. Got fixed in 1.8.2 with someone with actual photoediting tools properly making a .tga with it's transparency intact. I suppose somewhat the same might be the case here? That it looks normal but suddenly is flipped in other instances (and thus needs to be manually flipped), but then appears flipped if the game doesn't freak out again. No clue ever why it did that either...

As well as KSE...

GFF, but what about .UTC? And if you had to manually pick a location you probably have no registry entry. Steam? You could have added it, then it would have used that, and your life would have been easier (and you can use KSE and stuff)...

Welcome to my world to the past few years. And yes, TSLPatcher *can* install the same (named) file in different locations. But if you want, as Kain stated, different files with the same name, that doesn't work. It would be the same as placing a file in override... you pretty much break your game if you meet the similar file-named NPC in the other area breaks, and you get stuck... EDIT: Well, if you find a way VP do share it here and on LucasForums... it could help a LOT of us. I could for example simplify my Sith Assassin mod... that's only a 2-parter, sure, but still. Or the still planned but no idea when I will ever work on it "less HP HK's in HK-Factory" for all the complainers :/
-
Probably the smoke... Add DisableVertexBufferObjects=1 to the proper place in the .ini and it should be resolved...
-
Probably the same reason my "Sith Soldiers to Sith Assassins" is a 2-parter... a lot of clone-filenames. And TSLPatcher isn't suited for installing from multiple folders simultaniously AFAIK.

Cause KOTOR2 worked upon KOTOR1's base... It's like wondering why KOTOR1 has 3 small items for weapons as modifications compared to KOTOR2's mod system and ask 'why'

Bugs and minor inconveniences with TSLRCM 1.8.4
Hassat Hunter replied to Hassat Hunter's topic in TSLRCM
@ Mr_Phil; Already modified that scene so normally you wont see that. Did you skip-forward Hanharr lines? @ Markus; Adum NOT re-appearing is definitely intended. Re-spawning is definitely NOT intended, and will lead to Daraala type fun of re-spawned stacked inventory. *If* (against OE's wishes) you wish to keep Adum you simply need to teleport him to a locked room you can't access, then move him back once it's over... Never, EVER, respawn a merchant. -
Mission... money... use XD But yeah, TSL fixed this particular issue ... Can't say how feasible fixing them in KOTOR1 would be since I never tried to mod it...
-
Probably will get more issues with end.ncs, since multiple modules than just those 2 have a file named as such. Simply put it in 650DAN though, problem solved I always prefer to avoid the override whenever possible...

Just check how we did the Vash/M4-78 cutscene on M4-78. A few other instances of it too... It's not that difficult if you make sure to turn it back once the fight's over. Actually tried that with Nihilus, though the inbetween cutscene was a pain, so it didn't quite sound right. Probably will get similar issues with the masters :/

Project Black Light
Hassat Hunter replied to Viralmelon's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
I'm shocked... NEVER SAW THIS COMING *cough* Though I somewhere saw another KOTOR3 project... lol, why does no-one understand stuff like 'you can't simply make a Star Wars game due to licensing' :/ EDIT: This one http://www.swkotor3.com/ I guess the "awesome mod" comment for us is nice, but... TSLRSC? Whut? -
Can't restore content that doesn't even exist besides the word of someone on the crew.

Append is adding new lines, modify is changing the existing ones... -

I know TalkED can... I use it to modify the .tlk for TSLRCM. But no, append.tlk can only append, not modify existing entries. So unless you specifically mention how you did so, I'm just going to assume you misremember, since the TSLPatcher developer himself stated so too -

Likewise, over at LF we deemed the TSLPatcher incapable of doing so... -
"Porting" from K1 to TSL

Nope... LA is dead... LucasFilms exists... LucasArts? Dead. -
Let's see... Atris has holocrons of Kreia... and got obviously influenced by them, and she was the strongest supporter of exiling the Exile... yet; she couldn't possible have asked that of Atris because... you say so? That's pretty fragile evidence. Also you seem to imply she asked the whole council or was the sole responsible person for the exiling. There's nothing of the sort in the line at all, so why do you imprint it in them to "prove your point", a point that's not even the point of the line. You say there's just that line, but you're forgetting "Yes. I was here both times when the exile was brought before you." the first time implying his/her exile. Let me tell I find it funny first you are all "we must destroy this, TSLRCM lite, blabla" and now claim we restored TOO LITTLE. For your information, I do agree that line should be there. It's quite the opposite of nuking additions of TSLRCM though... XD Imprinting an idea in one person, spreading it onto other Jedi Masters, like a ripple... that's influencing and setting things in motion, manipulating. It's not "years later doubt themselves"... it's instant. You even say it yourself; 'lower morale'... but somehow this making them doubt themselves (ie. the very freaking definition of 'lowering morale') is somehow far-fetched. Explain me how an apple is so different from an apple it's getting ridicilous please. Yes, but you, once again, forget Atris scheming is done with the holocrons of the Sith, and infact the very holocrons of Darth Traya and her teachings... Revan and Kreia aren't that far from each other either, especially taking HK-47's Echo dialogue in mind... Very well... you got a point. If we remove all dialogue found at that location we can delete; * The entire Visas training sequence. * Atton's dialogue post-Peragus added in 1.8. * All the training of Jedi companions after Jedification * Bao-Dur's training sequence. * The HK-50 questline, the factory. * Playing actual pazaak with Atton. * The dialogue of Fassa. * The T3 gets blasted cutscene on the Hawk. * The Dantooine academy would be as vanilla, no modifications at all... no teammates, nothing. * No additional options at Nihilus. * And probably much, much, MUCH more I forgot. Oh, we pretty much can forget all of TSLRCM... you get... vanilla TSL. Enjoy your game... why use the mod if you hate it restoring content that ended up getting cut? :/ I'm pretty sure they had good reasons to add typo's and stuff to prevent content unlocking... AS YOU YOURSELF SAID TO MY FACE ONCE... :/ It's not like the game got rushed out of the door that they were able to make a full pass of all the content or something...

Quick googling later: C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Saves\ If you do, you have to manually copy your saves away from there, or the game wont recognise them as it looks in the proper place isntead...
