Mod Compatibility with TSLRCM 1.7 (Discussion)
Hassat Hunter replied to Markus Ramikin's topic in TSLRCM
Can't say why they won't work together. Unless the patcher has an issue with the global.jrl. But then the same should be true for regular TSLRCM. -
I find the yellow letters easier to read than this dark blue. Now continue on with your business 0_0.

Zbyl's Admiral Onasi mod? What? And since when is the NS Skybox incompatible?

Bugs and minor inconveniences with TSLRCM 1.7
Hassat Hunter replied to gangster1337's topic in TSLRCM
Yeah, try that one (it's on_enter with the Ebon Hawk, guess not with all modules). -
Instead of when you get the first part. So; Czerka- From the Duros at the Docks. Ithorians- From Habat after doing the B-4D4 quest.
-
The door should open regardless of even HAVING the quest. Do you have other mods installed?

Bugs and minor inconveniences with TSLRCM 1.7
Hassat Hunter replied to gangster1337's topic in TSLRCM
After applying the patch, did you load a save from before turning exile. Alternatively, try deleting 232TEL_on_enter.ncs from your override, then load a savegame before going to the Military Base. -
Crazy Kotor-translators . Yeah, can speak a bit of German . For the one who asks it's who to who, I thought it was obvious, but I guess not. It's the Exile to Mandalore. New line that needs translation. Same languages; "Access Log 253-14: Sonic Imprint Sensor Update" Prefably people who have the translated versions of KOTOR check the TLK for line 76465 (so it's done exactly in that style) and then translate their word for "update". Thnx in advance once again.

Alternative is uploading your override n_darthnihilu001.utc into 852NIH_s.rim/852NIH.mod (and then remove it, obviously). So it does use it there were it was made for but doesn't conflict with the similar named file in 853NIH (this and several other nihilus cutscenes).

I'm bummed up - KOTORII doesn't work with my Radeon 1600
Hassat Hunter replied to DanGrr's topic in TSLRCM
It does that to card's it can't support. It thinks my GeForce FX9600GT is below recommended system specs and my other PC's Radeon HD6950 is below minimum system specs. That's NOT the issue... You did replace the .dll files with ones from KOTOR1, right? As all "Vista" threads advise? -
Malachor VI: An Ending Mod
Hassat Hunter replied to VarsityPuppet's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
I still say that line is about sacrficing Remote to destroy the MSG. -
The line is; "I tire of this. You're too weak to be allowed to live." No typo's there... However the suggested 'fixes' are horrible engrish. It has to be said...

She does. From 1.4 on already actually. Funny was warping back to the Telos Plateau and finding out the 2 "sisters" that find Bao-Dur there are both Handmaiden herself (and I could have the convo and all ). (What the... how did I miss there was a 4th page already 0_0)

(Feel free to add more) Some of the lesser known things about KOTOR2. Did you know about all these? * There are plenty of lines for Kreia in the Dxun Tomb, Atton on Onderon, and Mira could help you fix the speeder bike on Nar Shaddaa, and has a few lines with Vossk (who is removed after the main plot). None can be triggered due to not being able to have said teammates there (None restored by TSLRCM) * During the smuggling quest if you need to steal the shield you can ask the controller about the shield. (TSLRCM restored) * If you follow the Czerka line on Telos after delivering the droid you can start the Corrun Falt sidequest by talking to him. (TSLRCM restored) * If you follow the Ithorians instead of bribing him you can follow him home, then kill him to learn about B-4D4. (Main TSL) * When being B-4D4 try talking to everyone on Telos. You can extort Chano, ask the welcoming droid in the docks for bribes and much much more. (Main TSL) * Most side-quests on Telos can no longer be started or completed once you visited the surface, unless you use TSLRCM 1.7 (or higher). * If you break the rules while fighting Handmaiden there is a whole convo about telling her there are no rules in war, which can gain alignment points and influence. (Main TSL) * There is an alternative "Lesson of Strength" from Kreia that's not STR and CON. This alternative REAL lesson gives other boosts, more XP and more INF from Kreia. (Main TSL) * You can escape the Taku'ta training room in the Sith Academy by using the console and giving the wrong answers, so without fighting... (Main TSL) * If you take Hanharr to Onderon he gives you an overview of the planet. (Main TSL, although VO-less without TSLRCM) * You can win the final fight with Visas (training) by breaking the rules and explaining Kreia why you did. (TSLRCM) * If you lower Atton's influence a lot and raise Disciple's to max you get a few EBO-scenes few people see. (Main TSL) Also, the Atton-Disciple scene on Malachor (TSRLCM). * There are alternative lines for Atton and Handmaiden with GameCompleted=3 in your swkotor2.ini. Also an easter egg Nihilus main menu that fails to trigger in regular TSL but hopefully will appear in TSLRCM 1.8. (Main TSL) * If you take HK or T3 to Goto's Yacht you can get permanent +1 to Dex for them. (Main TSL- Although bugged without TSLRCM) * You can get the second group of bounty hunters to back off on Onderon if you have Goto in your team. Of course they have a Visa, but you can still attack them for DS points. (Main TSL)

KotOR Tool not working with GFF editor
Hassat Hunter replied to Mandalore's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Odd. I was going to say "same with me", but I hadn't renamed it GFFEditor, and now that I did Kotor Tool opens it just fine (although minimalised ). Maybe you need to run it once before it's accepted. Did you do that? -
I'll just post the 'fixlog' for that specific bug; * Fixed some issues with Kreia's first "evil" response; ** Learning from her now balances out (-8, +8) instead of giving a -7 penalty (-8, +1). ** Now gains +INF from Mandalore if he's in the party. ** Bao gets -8 instead of +1. ** Handmaiden gets -8 instead of +1. ** Disciple gets -8 instead of +1. ** Visas now gains +INF. ** Mira now looses -INF. ** Hanharr now gains +INF. ** HK-47 now gains +INF. ** G0-T0 now gains +INF (even though his dialogue suggests otherwise, but all other DS acts give +INF). ** T3 now looses -INF.

1.0b8 TSLRP Playthrough
Hassat Hunter replied to catagurin's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
Heh, I was just thinking about that yesterday. Sure, a good splicer could probably do that. Do we have any? -
Look at the picture of the week and tell me... have I gone mad?

1.0b8 TSLRP Playthrough
Hassat Hunter replied to catagurin's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
There are those nice little touches which we should (IMO) probably replicate (Like playin Pazaak with Atton, the mind-reading cutscene leading up to Malachor). The GenoHaradan kinda suck there though (they appear a few times on Telos and then suddenly before going to Malachor? Major dissapearance and plot-speed-interuption). I would do a replay to find these nice tweaks but I fear Kotor-fatigue, and I don't want to rush my 1.8 testing once that starts. -
Bugs and minor inconveniences with TSLRCM 1.7
Hassat Hunter replied to gangster1337's topic in TSLRCM
Your loss. But have you tried going back to KOTOR2 to see wheter the issue still remained. It probably would be ATi Catalyst Drivers, and not the mod. Or are you using the 1.0c mod mentioned above. It's gonna cause issues. If we thought TSL wasn't worth the effort we wouldn't still be working on M4-78EP and 1.8. It's definitely better than some recent games coming out (Dragon Age 2, I am looking at you!) -
1.0b8 TSLRP Playthrough
Hassat Hunter replied to catagurin's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
Yup, they are all issues you may experience using TSLRP 1.0b8. Sooo... did you start/complete this playthrough yet? -
Be aware said "Kreia effect" is a bug, and will be fixed in 1.8. Then again the 'effect' only gave +1 INF (with -7 INF for Kreia) so it was barely worth it anyways for the effect itself. With 1.8 it should work as should, and also adds or substracts INF from all the people who were lacking that from Kreia's first DS-response.
