    Hey there.  Just found out tonight that a friend of 25 years has passed away. If you wouldn't mind, please hold off on any messages to me for the next couple of days.  I'd appreciate it.

      Thanks for the support folks.  The funeral will be on Tuesday but  . . . well, I'm getting there.

      Hope everything went decently yesterday then. It's never easy to lose a friend that's been around that long.

      It didn't.  There was a hurricane yesterday and my state's governor declared a state of emergency.  No trips in the car.  So . . . couldn't get to the wake, service, or funeral.  I feel like I wasn't able to honor my friend's memory or be there for his friends and family.  In other news, I have a large problem with the documentary that I'm going to have to figure out which I won't go into here other to say the deadline is not a thing anymore and I'm going to have to figure out many things to do in order to make it. So I'm having a severe bout of depression right now.  I wouldn't expect much cheer from me for about a week.
