  1. GMT+10: #OpBlackMarch starts in 3 hours. I'll be wearing the Guy Fawkes mask during and after school to raise awareness, but otherwise, remember, no legal or illegal games, movies and music. Peace out, everybody.

Boilpoint Chrono Cross is underrated, I think it's just as good as Chrono Trigger. I certainly felt the storyline was just as good and I want a third Chrono game unfortunately we all know Square is not going to make a another one.

  2. Holy...that's an amazing amount of progress...screw time frames, this is probably one of the biggest modifications I've ever seen. It just goes to show that, even though TSL was a good game, it had so much missing. Fantastic work to all of you! So, is it just straight testing from here on in, or do you have a couple more tweaks to add? I'm happy to wait, so long as you keep updating the changelog so I've got something to read ;P
  3. If it's installed, it should work, because the game would probably be only looking to see that there is a disc in the drive.
  4. That looks fantastic... Just two questions, have you installed any other mods, and did you try the Dantooine Lag Fix (Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1)?
  5. Well, it should be pretty obvious from his previous graphics packs what he modifies, but when you run the extractor, it actually creates a new folder with the name of the module/package. I ran all the installers in a temp directory and manually copied over everything into my override folder.
  6. I have a werid bug...playing TSLRCM 1.7, on the Telos Restoration Zone. There's this giant black "S". When I look at it, my game slows down to 1 Frame Per Minute. Tried playing with the graphic options, and it's not that. Help?

Looking none of the textures are coming up corrupt when I look at them with both InfranView and XnView, so I might just delete everything that would have an effect on the Telos Restoration Zone modules, and see if I can get that darn thing to disappear.

Confirmed to be one of the Telos Sand textures/Rock Bed. If I removed them all, and put one/two back, the game wouldn't have the black S but it would bluescreen.

Theory: Nope. It's shopped. I can tell from the pixels. I've seen a few shops in my day.

Observation: You're using HD textures. Try removing those and put the original ones back.

  7. Replaced my ATi Drivers for the Omega Drivers, and now my game runs faster than ever!

If I can get my Assassin's Creed 2 Ezio costume into TSL, I'll do this. I have all the models already, it would just be a matter of converting them into appropriate .MDL files.
  9. GTA IV and Assassin's Creed 2. I don't care what the haters say, they both have fantastic stories and characters I could care about.
  10. Issue fixed by turning on V-Sync and using the Vista Mss32.dll fix. Now I can use the High Texture Pack without crashing. Thanks for the help, me! ;P

  11. I generally stick to Light Side Male. No particular reason, except that I feel comfortable playing a character who I try to model as close to who I'd like to be as possible.
  12. Turning "Texture Pack" to "Low" fixed Melee attacks and the Prolouge fighting tutorial, but the first mining driod now always crashes the game. I hate when you get progress and then run straight into another dead-end.

  13. Alright, I finally have the solution. For anyone who doesn't read my current status and is having the same issue, ensure that you set "Texture Pack" to "Low". It may work with "Medium", but I'm not willing to test it out.
  14. I've completed a vanilla game a couple times, and I've done one TSLRCM run (1.6). I'd recommend you play with TSLRCM, but try hold out until 1.8 comes out. There's a lot of awesome restored content, and quite a few fixed bugs that makes playing the game so much better.
  15. Got that darn "Please insert Disc 4" installer bug while installing KotOR 1 on WinXP SP3. I've made backups, but I had to return the discs to my friend.

      Nothing of any particular interest.

I solved the problem with that solution I stated before. Now, after I finish my PS2 Disc extractor, my LegoRR Hook and some stuff for LEGOLAND, I might have a little free extra-time to finish off KOTOR 1.

Enjoy your KotOR1 experience. Might I suggest a blog so you can express those experiences to the public?

;P I run a blog on the other website, but I'll make one specifically for KotOR & TSL run throughs here.

Statement: Assassination protocols initiated. Target: Meatbags creating computer worms, viruses, etc. Optional targets: Meatbags lacking common sense that keep going to sites and clicking links that give their computers such things despite all the warnings everywhere.

  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBR4cT-0sKY HOLD ON, DID YOU SAY "KINECT"? How would you use one of those to animate? It's not very good at pin-pointing specific points to make accurate animation bones.

  18. Hey guys, after looking around, I finally found a solution! Solution Post Turns out I had to simply change my processor affinity. It's gonna be annoying to do it everytime I start the game, but at least we've solved that problem. Hopefully anybody else with a similar problem will find this solution helpful too. It worked, I reinstalled the game because I wanted to make sure my mods were correctly installed, and then it died on me again. This sucks.

Same, especially if GTA V is released during March...I can wait.

  20. The topic title might be a little confusing, so just hang with me here (exactly what my game tends to do too). I recently fixed that visual bug with the flickering polygons and black screen by adding the "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" to Graphic Options to my current modded copy of the game. So far, the game runs a bit smoother and I haven't had the graphic crash. Instead, a new problem is occurring. On Peragus, when I try to melee, either by hand or with the Plasma torch, the first busted door, the game crashes. I thought it might of been due to my mods, so I tried it on my Vanilla patched game, but the crash is still happening. Prior to adding the "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1", I also got the same issue, but I would cheat my stats and unlock the door, so it occurred later when I attacked some Mining Droids. The weird thing was that I was using a lightsaber, and the game wouldn't crash unless I attacked a specific unit in the third group you encounter. Seeing as this occurs on the Vanilla game, I won't bother with my mods list, and I'll skip straight to the computer specs: OS: Windows XP SP3 CPU: Pentium 4 3.20GHz (Dual Core) RAM: 1GB DDR2 GPU: ATi Radeon X1300/X1550 Series 256MBs Swinfo report for the Vanilla game copy: Hopefully we can resolve this soon; if it's just my shity computer, I'm saving money for a new one, so in the meantime, I'll just use whereami band to force the door open.
  21. Methinks if you delete everything but the textures, models and the .txi files, the game might not have the problem. I'd test that theory if my computer was a stable testing platform, but it isn't, so I can only guess and hope..
  22. I'm afraid I bring grave news. I feel sick just thinking about this. It seems volunteers of the European Union and European Comission are in support of ACTA, defending it and not answering the questions of us, the people. More over, ACTA has a sibling. The TPPA. It's evil. http://www.wired.co....-misconceptions http://gigaom.com/20...-to-enact-sopa/ http://arstechnica.c...ight-treaty.ars To try and brighten the mood, I have a little Anti-ACTA propaganda, as well as the news that an internet petition has almost reach 1,500,000 signatures. http://i.imgur.com/rq9NE.png http://www.laquadrat...eet_on_ACTA.pdf
  23. Seeing as I feel bad for not contributing anything to the modding side of this community, I'm working on some Assassin Creed 2 robes for your PC to enjoy. Shouldn't take too long, so long as this school week is a bludge (first week back), and 3DS Max stops fighting me.
