  1. I dunno man. I think it *should* depend on whether the PC demands it or not. I'd say the PC should get DS points for demanding it, light side points for saying no, and there should be no change if they just let them build the statue.
  2. ACTA is the world's biggest pain in the ass. I didn't want to come to these forums to discuss internet censorship, but unfortunately it seems like Mrs. Inconvenience has played with time again. Anyways, Poland is in a stage of all out riot. They really didn't like their Government saying "Yes" to ACTA. It's a good thing to see them continue in their fight, even after their leaders have ignored them. Twitter is now apparently about to censor it's posts, due to a DCMA complaint about someone spreading leaks to pirated Sheet Music. It's amazing how small-time music composers can suddenly scare one of the the worlds biggest Social Platforms. The users of Megaupload are protesting against the FBI, threatening to sue due to the damages the server being down has caused. #TwitterBlackout is occurring. Please don't go on Twitter for the next 24-odd hours. Even Anonymous is staying quiet. I'll be keeping everyone updated. Support the people, screw censorship.

Alright done. I'm watching them both, trying to see who gets the most votes in the next hour or so. My money is on Avaaz, because while they have less votes total, you look at their "Recent Signers" list; it's about 1 or 2 every second.

  3. I'd like to say a massive welcome to Anonyupload, the replacement for Megaupload.

We still must stop ACTA otherwise all will be for naught. If we stop ACTA governments will think twice before trying to censor the internet again.

Sounds interesting, I will give it a shot.

  4. Might consider moving to Europe if ACTA passes.

I have about 10 books to read this year (compulsory) for my HSC, and they're all so very, very long. Maybe next year ;P

  5. I'm afraid that it's back sooner than we thought, and it gets worse. http://www.slashgear.com/sopa-sponsor-has-another-internet-bill-that-records-you-247-20210264/
  6. Just so everybody is clear: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-16655272 SOPA and PIPA are both scrapped. I think the internet is safe for now.
  7. I wouldn't put it past them at this point, but the main thing is they have to prove it. From what I've seen, Mediafire has better screening for copywrited content, but it's not clean by a long shot. If you have anything on the internet you haven't got a backup of, I'd download it now and keep it safe. Shouldn't affect TSLRCM or any of the mods being hosted on lucasforums or Deadly Streams, but I'd rather be on the safe side.
  8. There was a lot of stuff going on this afternoon (for Australians, that is). You might want to read the official statement from Anonymous: http://pastebin.com/WEydcBVV Just one more reminder, this isn't about SOPA. This is about the FBI making a (IMO) stupid decision and now having to deal with the repercussions.
  9. I don't know how many of you follow SOPA/PIPA and/or Anonymous, but the recent takedown of Megaupload has brought about an interesting reaction: http://rt.com/usa/news/anonymous-barrettbrown-sopa-megaupload-241/ Again, I dunno how many of you are following the stories, but I know that a couple TSL mods were uploaded to Megaupload, so you might want to keep any of those safe for the time being, especially if the authors are AFK.
  10. Vodka and Coca-cola. Really, really good when you add a little bit of ice-cream to it ;P
  11. I dunno what I just watched, but I'm pretty sure the real Vader would be jealous of that dog's singing ability.
  12. I have a question. What's with the "Warn Status" bar, and the "Issues" tab on the member page? You guys have a lot of weird (yet strangely awesome) features that I haven't seen on the several IP.Board forums I've browsed...

Oh damn, that sucks. Well, I guess IP.Board isn't bulletproof.

  13. Hey guys, I have a couple of questions about modding TSL. It's been a while since I've built a module, and this time I actually have a script (I'll explain everything later, as soon as I've built some credibility for myself ;P). So, if you could answers these questions, that would be fantastic: Is it possible to, at some point in the middle of a game, replace the party members? For example, let's say you start the game with 5 people in your party. Is it possible to, through scripting or some method, replace those 5 people with a new 5 people? What are the limitations of the audio engine? I'm pretty sure its very basic (no "interactive music" like you would have in many more modern games), but are there any scripting functions for playing around with the music/sound? Are there any timers you can use, and how do they work (if they exist)? How does the game determine the first module? Is it always supposed to be called "001ebo"? While I'm at it, what are the limitations of animation? For cutscenes, can I create my own animations and have them play? Many games feature some sort of function where you can slow down time, even pause it completely. Is it possible in TSL? I honestly can't remember for the life of me; can you make swords and lightsabers go "through" people? I'm pretty sure you can, and in that case, can you add blood effects? That's pretty much it for now. I'm going to get back to making some test modules and learning how to import some new models in TSL. Thank you guys.
  14. Uhp, I went AFK for a long time (as with most new members ;P), but now I'm on the road to scholarship, and I need to start making some public mods for my portfolio.

  15. My holidays start in a couple of days, so I'll be organising my two week schedule to get stuff from two different projects done (the modules I'm making for TSL and an overhaul I'm making for another forum).

Nice. Mine are starting on Friday, so I'm organising them by my average KotOR completion time and when this damned cold goes.

lol, best of luck getting better

  16. Ah, the way I do my overhauls is I create a module which contains the general idea of the storyline, then branch it into two modules and add some content/remove some content, releasing some of the modules as I go...but your right, I'll start small scale ;P
  17. So, I'll give you a quick (or not so quick) run down of who I am, why I am here and why I didn't bring cookies... My name: Extreme110 My Age: Almost 17 My Country: Australia My modding/coding experience: KotORII:TSL, JPOG, LegoRR, FSX, AGS, Halo: CE, COD4, (some experience in) Source, UDK, The Sims (all games), Need For Speed Games, Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel, Bus Driver...in other words, I pretty much mod every game I come into contact with... My area of expertise: Design (Concepting stories, characters, levels etc) Programming Languages: C, C++, Java Hopefully that should work...also, two quick (shamefull) plugs... http://sevenextremepowers.freeforums.org - My Modding/Machinima "Companies" Offical Forums Page http://www.rockraidersunited.org - The other I.P Board forums I more frequently attend, including my companies blogs and some extra downloads Hopefully I fit in pretty well, and if all goes well I should be releasing the details on my first TSL overhaul soon...
  18. Problem Details: On Peragus, just as it finishes loading up the bit where you play T3-M4, the game crashes. I re-installed and now it crashes just after it loads. Also, starting up the Prolouge and 90-odd percent of the Ebon Hawk is black/triangle-bugged (Instead of displaying an object properly, it is made up of all these weird triangle polygon shapes which don't make any sense at all); T4 either will not appear or is triangle-bugged, player and the Holo-drive have both a half-chance of appearing or not. All the steam effects and some of the Ebon Hawk including doors still load. Also, Kreia will not appear in her regular standing pose or in her lying down *dead* pose (Won't appear on the floor in the Ebon Hawk Prolouge, but can be see in the Mourge of Peragus, despite disappearing when talking to the player for the first time). Computer Specs: System Model: Dell Dimension 8400 Operating System: Windows XP SP3 Processor: Intel Pentium IV Duo (2) Core Processor Speed: 3.20GHz Memory: 1022MB (1GB) Display Device: Radeon X1300/X1550 Series (Believe me, even THIS was hard to achieve...I had to rip it out of my parents dead pc when they weren't looking...and I can't afford a better device...) Display Memory: 256MBs Sound Device: Creative SB Live! Series Direct X Version: 9.0c Game Version (Before installing TSLRCM): 1.0b Hopefully a fix comes soon, Extreme110
