Meant heads, sorry (damn autocorrect). Do they replace the default textures of the player heads?

Dark Hope's head textures replace the default textures of any K1 player head models that are used. The models and textures used were also renamed and given unique names so that they dont change the actual player heads in-game (you'd still need to download Dark Hope's actual mod in order to get those same textures for the player heads). The textures from Dark Hope were also converted to tpc format. This way I'm not simply "co-opting" Dark Hope's mods and players would still need to download them in order to use them for their original intended purpose.

Are the Dark Hope textures for the beads included or do they use vanilla ones by default?

Beads? Not sure what this is referring to. The main textures by Dark Hope used here were the player heads from K1, Uthar and Yuthura's heads, and the outfits for prisoners and Sith uniforms (the default ones, which the archeologists and Sith torturer still wear; I converted them to tpc format)

Having seen playthroughs of this mod, I have some ideas for how the voiceovers for some of the custom dialogs could be improved. I'm currently working on another mod which partly involves the use of AI voice generation and was wondering if it would be possible or allowed to make a mod which improves the audio quality and gives better voiceovers for the lines in it.

  3. This looks amazing! Do you plan on making a cleaned-up module for the Sith Academy on Korriban that includes rooms like the library that aren't accessible in Kotor 1? If not, I would appreciate tips or advice on making it myself since I'm potentially planning to make it part of an overhaul/enhancement of Korriban in Kotor 1.

I'll be happy if I can use N-Drew's Onderonian Fashion with this mod!

I'll try and see if I can make it compatible but I would recommend installing N-Drew's mod **first** and **then** installing mine. I believe that would do the trick with compatibility for now.

    I look forward to it!

Since Dark Hope made an updated version of Davik's skin recently, I will likely make an updated version of this mod that accounts for the much higher quality head texture that Dark Hope gave him, and also gives the option to have Davik wearing his armor when you encounter him at the fight since there are two different files for that encounter and when you first meet him so the two mods can have more compatibility

Hmm. It's not that simple. In this mod, there are two textures for the model of each Mandalorian - Mand_Body and Mand_helmet. Yes, I installed this mod after BOSSR, therefore it replaced the Mandalorian models from BOSSR as I understand. Does this mean that now I have to do something else besides replacing one single texture? What about helmet texture?
I suspect that I will have to go into the appearance.2da file and write the helmet texture for the Mandalorian from BOSSR somewhere there.

I will likely release an updated version of the mod and/or a "patch" with this fix.  The best way to fix this issue would be to make a copy of both the body and helmet texture color that you'd want to put on the Mandalorian model that was added, make a copy of the model itself (they're all the exact same) and rename it to "N_Mandalorian04" while renaming the copy of the helmet texture to "Mand04_Helmet" and the copy of the body texture to "Mand04_Body." I'd need to use mdlEdit to do this because the textures aren't actually in the appearance.2da file but directly in the file of the model itself.

Just to clarify, however: is this supposed to be the model for Mandalore the Ultimate from the flashback scene?

Hi EAF97, that sounds exactly like what I'm looking for - I use Onderon fashion which has this functionality, but your robe fits Davik's character so much better. I appreciate that it may not be something you're working on anymore, but on the slim chance that it is, I don't suppose there's any news on an updated version with this feature? Thanks very much!

I may make an updated version soon

Sadly, I've moved on from that part of the game. And I might've just installed in the wrong order.

I'd recommend either a fresh save or a clean install of the game. If that doesn't work, feel free to message me and I will try to re-test the mod. As of now I'm planning to make a version that only has Davik wearing the robe when the player first meets him but has him wearing the armor during the escape so it won't fully conflict with Dark Hope's mod. It wouldn't be hard since Davik has two different NPC files and another user had floated the idea

This didn't work. And I'm not using any other mods that use the Onderonian clothing.

Could you post a screenshot of what the issue is so I can see what's going on? For testing reasons and due to an issue with the files I actually uninstalled and re-installed the game and then installed the mod and everything seemed to be working

Awesome job with this. Since I recently made a mod for Davik's robe, I will make an option for people to only install Davik's new robe for when the player first meets him and then it'll show him wearing the armor when the player runs into him and Calo Nord and fights them later during the escape so that your mod won't conflict with mine and people can use both

Does Davik only wear this outfit if you install the mod prior to starting a new game? I installed it right before going to his estate and he's wearing Onderonian Clothing from another mod. I tried loading  a save from before I spoke to Canderous and traveled to Davik's estate, but this didn't work. And I did install this mod AFTER the Onderon Fashion mod

Sorry I only just saw this. The screenshots I posted were from a test-run of the mod that I did to make sure it was working properly. I would start a new game and then use the console command "warp tar_m08aa" to warp/teleport straight to his estate in order to check quickly. In some cases it makes a difference if you installed the mod and went to a pre-existing save. You could also check to make sure you haven't installed another mod that uses the onderonian clothing.

I came across this issue both on my previous PC and on my current one when trying to use this mod as shown below and this was tested with no other mods installed. What might be causing this?

Why are the shoulder pads clipping into the arms??

Did the original mod have this glitch?

From what I can see, the additional "bones" in the models that contain the shoulder pads and shoulder plates aren't loading into the game. If I open the texture tab in MDLEdit, it only acknowledges the "head" and "body" parts of the model since there are only two texture files ("head" and "body") for each Mandalorian model. If I could perhaps "add" those additional bones in MDLEdit, the issue would be solved. There does seem to be an "error" whenever I first open the models in that program before porting them

And if you want to give some of Davik's guards a uniform, may I suggest using the purple combat suit in this resource:

I'll see what I can do with that. I would probably make it a separate mod for users to install at some point

Thank you very much! And any plans to use this outfit on other NPCs? Just recolor it and you have different looks.

I definitely will consider re-using it and will probably release both the ported model and texture as a "modder's resource" at some point

If you intend to use my Onderon Fashion mod you should install this mod AFTER the Onderon Fashion mod. The reasoning is that Onderon Fashion gives Davik the Onderon Commoner outfit so if you wish to use both mods you'll need to install that mod before Davik's Noble Vestment.

Agreed, I would recommend that people install my NPC mods AFTER the others. My changes.ini file is programmed so that new rows in the heads.2da and appearance.2da files will just be added but not to specific numbers or rows. This will ensure it doesn't conflict and/or can override other mods at times when it needs to.

I'm fairly certain you can just remove the medals from the texture to fix this issue.

I personally liked having the medals on his jacket but if that's really an issue, I'll consider removing them

I could see him getting some official commendations from the Tarisian government for this.

Or being a criminal he stole it, got it through bribery, etc, and then got it dyed and customized. Like I said, it's fairly similar to how a lot of criminal warlords might dress

Somehow, EAF97 returned....with a new mod! I like this and it makes sense for Davik to wear this outfit. Also, this will go great with N-DReW25's NPC diversity mods!

Only minor nitpick is there appears to be medals on Davik's chest, making this look like a military uniform when Davik is not military.

Yeah I thought about that when making the outfit but I would think of it as perhaps a custom outfit he's wearing or even one made from an old military uniform. It gives him a "warlord" or "criminal tycoon" look that you might expect from someone not just of his profession but of his status and level of influence.

  6. Would you or someone else be able to port a version of this mod into Kotor II? While Vandar doesn't appear in the game in-person, he does show up in a holo-recording that the Exile can uncover between Vandar and Vrook that's stored in the damaged protocol droid in Khoonda on Dantooine

I love the texture of this mod but for some reason the "shiny" part of the outfit ends of being transparent or see-through and it's related to the .tga file for it. I know the way most people usually "solve" this issue is by getting rid of the alpha channel on the file but that will ruin the visual effect of it. Is there something I'm supposed to type in a .txi file that I could create for the texture that could fix this?

Would it be possible for someone to make this mod work with TSLPatcher so that the appearance.2da and heads.2da files and the changes made to them can just be incorporated into those already-existing files? I already have those files in my Override folder and made changes to them with other mods. Installing this mod basically requires us to "replace" our already-overwritten 2da files with this one and so we will lose whatever changes we made with other mods in those files.
