The K1 Community Patch (K1CP) is a compilation of previous bugfix mods and some new original fixes put together with the intention of resolving the many and various issues that KOTOR has. This includes some well-known game breaking bugs/softlocks, broken quests, inaccessible content, as well as lesser issues such as problems in conversations, visual inconsistencies, player annoyances, etc. The intention is for the changes to be as seamless as possible, fixing and improving things whilst still retaining the original developer intent.
A huge thanks to all of the mod authors who created these mods, and allowed them to be included in this patch! Unfortunately, the individual list of changes has grown too long to be included in this post, however you can view a detailed breakdown of each author's contributions in the included readme file.

KOTOR 1 Restoration Team/Fair Strides
Run INSTALL.exe and navigate to your K1 install folder. Generally speaking, this mod should be installed before anything else, except mods that do hard edits/overwrites of 2DA, TLK or MOD (module) files. Due to the size and complexity of the patch, installation may take a few minutes, depending on your system specs. Please be patient and allow it to finish.
K1CP uses module injection in an attempt to remain as compatible as possible with other mods. This may result in issues with mods that simply put files in the Override folder. It is recommended that you consult the individual authors of any large scale mods, particularly those that edit DLGs and scripts, as to whether their work is compatible with K1CP. Some mods will likely require updates, some may need to be installed in a specific order, whilst others may be completely incompatible.
At this time, the KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R) mod has not been tested with K1CP v1.8. While prior versions were compatible, this is highly unlikely to still be the case with the numerous changes made in the current version. As such, using K1R is done so at your own risk. In future a compatibility patch may be developed (but no promises).
These are the currently known bugs/issues with KOTOR (or K1CP itself) that are being worked on for the next release:
If you find any others, especially with changes/additions K1CP makes, please report them so they can be fixed as soon as possible. Be sure to include as much information as possible, including a list of all the other mods you have installed and screenshots, if appropriate.
Given the complexity of this mod, a clean install of KOTOR is recommended. However, you can check through the installation log file if you wish to undo the changes made.
Due to this mod being a compilation from many different authors, please do not rehost/distribute it.

This mod is a compilation of various bugfix mods put together with the intention of fixing all the known bugs with the last official patch of KOTOR 2. A huge thanks to all of the mod authors who created these mods, and gave me permission to include them in this patch.

I recently discovered that KOTOR doesn't handle non-Windows EOLs. Issues can range from envmaps not working to the game crashing.
This is a simple batch file that when dropped into your Override folder will convert the line endings on all of your .txi, .vis, and .lyt files.
While working on the K1CP I discovered that there are actually three different Sith soldier textures. There's the red and the silver that we're all used to, but there's also a white one that is unused. This restores the white texture into the game. You have the option to either make the standard troopers white and the elite/command troopers silver, or vice-versa.
INSTALL: Run the installer and select either Main OR Alternate.
I recommend installing this AFTER the KOTOR 1 Community Patch and JC's Korriban: Back in Black if you use them.
PERMISSION: I give anyone permission to do whatever the heck they want with this, whether or not they give me credit. (Although credit is always nice, y'know?)
Note: An improved version of this is included in the KOTOR Community Patch starting with version 1.8
Throughout KOTOR 1 there are many models that are "lite" versions. Low-poly and low-res textures in order to help older computers. Since most computers can handle it fine now, this mod upgrades all possible lite models to full-res models/textures. (There are a few models that only have "lite" versions, and obviously nothing can be done).

JC's Dense Aliens for K1 - ports a couple of the full-res models from K2 into the Lite models of K1. High Quality Spaceman - Improves the texture of the lite spaceman model

Everyone hates how slow the underwater section of KOTOR 1 is. Well this is the fix for it! It speeds up your character while adjusting the animation to not make it look bad. The max speed is still slightly less than normal running speed, but it won't take you 20 minutes to get anywhere anymore!

This is a fairly simple mod that allows you to select new colors for the Heart of the Guardian and Mantle of the Force crystals. In addition to changing the blade colors, this mod also gives you three options for the icon textures:
1. Use the default in-game icon for whichever color you choose
2. Use the original Heart of the Guardian/Mantle of the Force icon recolored to match the new color
3. Use a new icon that matches the new color

This mod is compatible with any mod unless they happen to use the same custom model variations as this one. (If you have any lightsaber hilt or blade mods, this will simply use the models/textures from that mod of whichever color you select).
As usual you may do whatever you like with this mod (reupload it, edit it, whatever), however unlike most of my mods, you must give credit to JCarter426 if you do anything with this mod.
As many of you know, Pazaak is a rigged game in KOTOR 1. There are already mods that make the opponents' hands all 0 cards, but I always felt like that was too easy. This mod is a nice middle of the road.

Obviously I can't fix the RNG where sometimes the opponent will just draw to 20 (4 times in a row...), but hey...chalk that up to shady characters cheating
