    This is a spin-off of my Bao-Dur reskin mods, made possible by DarthParametric's modder's resource "Bao-Dur Head Model Neck Fix".

    This mod adds 3 Zabrak player character options:

    A - You start as a clean Zabrak, as you go towards the dark side you get black tattoos. At fully dark side you get a Darth Maul inspired look.

    B - Darth Maul inspired. Red skin with tattoos from the start.

    C - Inspired by the Dathomir Nightbrothers. Yellow skin with tattoos, sith eyes at full dark side and a mix of the two in between.

    The 3 parts of this mod have been on Steam for a while, as separate mods. This version contains several improvements compared to those versions.

    This mod adds a player character that uses PMHH01's* head model, with a new texture.

    There's no zombie dark side corruption, light side has brown eyes, fully dark has the yellow Sith eyes, halfway is a mix of the two.

    *PMHH = Player Male Head Hispanic.

    I recommended using redrob41's mod below, it fixes clipping issues that this head model has:

    Normally "Armor proficiency: Heavy" is not available to Bao-Dur's base class (Tech Specialist) when you level him up. This mod changes that and it adds the needed models to actually make wearing heavy armor work for him.

    This mod is made possible by models created by DarthParametric, see the credits below for links to these resources.

    Things should work with existing savegames.

  4. I don't have experience with that resolution but you should be able to use UniWS.
    The Steam version of K1 is pretty much the same as the disc version (+patches), so the process is the same, the game is just in a different location by defauly.

    B.t.w. for next time, you can copy your Saves (and Override if you like) to a flash drive or something, then place that back after reformatting/reinstalling.

    Those should not interfere.

    I can't think of something that might cause that, sorry.

    01 gets added to the filename because it's an item file that uses texture variation 1.


  7. Vanilla M4-78 Textures Upscaled Twice


    The vanilla M4-78 textures upscaled twice with A.I. software waifu2x-caffe.

    I've left out the txi files that only had "xbox_downsample 256", those were left overs from the old Xbox version.

    DRO_Ehok.tga is the Ebon Hawk exterior, specific for the droid planet. If you prefer another version of the Hawk's exterior then you may want to replace it.

    I've included upscaled versions of 2 CM files that some of the txi's call upon.

    Requested by some old guy on an obscure website.

    1. Unzip somewhere and run the file "Effixians_Class_Outfits_from_K1.exe".
    2. Manually copy the files from one of the 3 subfolders in the "Manually_copy_to_override" folder to your override folder.
    I chose this manual part approach so that it's easier to switch to another one of the 3 class outfits.
    You don't need to do anything with the file in the source_script folder, that's a resource for other mod makers.

    Not to be confused with my KotOR 1 class outfit reskin mod, I did reuse the screenshots because there's little difference.
    This mod lets you add a light armor (you can only use 1 of the 3 at a time). They are the pretty much the same as the default class clothing that you get in KotOR 1. This time they do have some stats, are upscaled and I redid/added alpha layers (which parts of the texture are reflective/shiny).
    Atton has this item in his personal inventory, you'll be able to equip it once he joins you.
    The stats are mostly based on Mira's Jacket.

    Scoundrel Jacket / Scout Jacket / Soldier Outfit (cheatcode: giveitem classfit)

    Feats Required: Armor Proficiency - Light
    Usable By: The player, Atton, Disciple, Handmaiden, Mira, Visas
    Defense Bonus: 5
    Max Dexterity Bonus: +5
    Damage Resistance: Resist 5/- vs. Bludgeoning, Piercing, Slashing
    Regeneration: 1
    Upgradeable (Like light armor)

    COMPATIBILITY
    ---------------------------
    - (R): This mod replaces the Revan/Star Forge model, so it's not compatible with any mod that does the same (for example my Bastila Robes, Mission Vao Jacket and more). Make sure you always read the mod description to look out for this.
    - Steam: This 3-in-1 mod is superior to my similar Steam Workshop versions which are all "male or female only" mods to keep things compatible with the Workshop version of TSLRCM. But, you can apply this version to your Steam version. If you use the Workshop version of TSLRCM then you need to point the installer to its workshop folder
    (workshop\content\208580\485537937). If you don't then you point it to the main game folder.

    SWITCHING

    You can overwrite the files in your override with those from one of the 3 options in "Manually_copy_to_override", to try another option. You don't need to run the installer again. However, once you've acquired the item the title and description will get saved in your savegame. You can cheat in a fresh item to get one with the new title and description.

It could be related to her outfit? Obviously you're the expert here, but I noticed that Twin B loaded up with her twin suns outfit, and I could see it in character creation too, but Yuthura was shown in in default class outfit in creation. I did not mess with the optional clothing installer this time, just the base installer. Anyway, I'm glad the rest of it works and I'm excited to do my playthrough!

    You can send me your appearance.2da file, there's something we can try that I'm curious about, if it will make a difference.
    You start wearing nothing; underwear. Yuthura uses a renamed female Twi'lek body model as underwear, that's mostly to not interfere with any possible non player Twi'lek model mod. We can try and see if it makes a difference if that entry is turned into the default vanilla one.
    The default clothing shouldn't play a role yet at the start, only once you wear it.

    Twin B uses a ported model from K2, I would have thought that that would possibly be the problematic one :P

I had another mod I thought was possibly conflicting as it has an appearance.2da file, and I uninstalled that mod. Still crashing for some reason. Any idea what could be going wrong? The only thing I haven't tried is restarting.

    I tried to recreate your situation, but I don't get a crash, so that didn't help me track down your problem.

    I did find out that the optional part doesn't work right. It gives errors, so it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. It shouldn't have changed anything because of the errors, so it couldn't have played a part in the crash. I will of course fix it.

    This mod updates the default clothing for the 3 different classes.
    The textures are upscaled by A.I. (waifu2x - caffe).
    Only the soldier outfit had an alpha layer (which tells the game which parts should reflect light), I redid that one because it was a bit crude. The scout and scoundrel outfits didn't have one, now they do for a bit more dynamic/interesting look.
    The screenshots don't really show off the differences very well, things look nicer in game with the light shining on the outfits.

I haven't tested it but I think this should do the trick, the Patcher makes all the male player characters use the Atton clothing model (Atton's clothing will be kept as it is), the default clothing texture will be PC_AttonBB.tga and the dark side texture is PC_AttonBBD.tga. You can tweak these any way you like.
