  1. Would you modders prefer files inside a file tree to be organized into sub-categories alphabetically or by file type when a directory has a lot of files in it? Or would there be a more useful way to have them organized?

      I second that. I hate it when I have to look for something in a .mod in kotor tool! You don't always know the name of the file, in such cases the alphabetical categorization is just annoying.

      I ran an analysis on all K2 models and unless there's an error, there are no such cases in K2.

      The door on kashyyyk will only open one way, no matter what side you approach it from. Each door comes with two opening animations, but in vanilla they're always the same. Now it's confirmed that which animation plays depends on the side the player comes from, and that the walkmeshes work accordingly.

      Well, there aren't any doors like that in kotor, so we weren't sure it's even possible. It's important from the technical, not the practical perspective. In a sense, all doors in kotor work like that, except that the two open states are identical.

      @InSidious: it's a real easy hex edit if you want to try it, change the 96th byte (offset 95) in the .mdl from 01 to 00 or vice versa to toggle it :)

  15. Theoretically speaking, would it be possible for a version of TSLRCM + M4-78 to be ported to the Xbox version of TSL? I'm curious since I've seen alpha maps of M4-78 and the HK factory work on it.

      Well, if an xbox version of TSLRCM and M4-78 was made, then yes. The big problem has always been that the MDL format is different on xbox, so it was impossible to get any models to work. This will be possible in the future though, so theoretically speaking, yes :)

  24. Hey NWmax users! If you import a model with a skin and move the aurorabase, does the skin follow the bones or does it move twice the distance? Is this a known issue or just something I'm getting?

      NWmax is supposed to allow moving the aurorabase. If it doesn't in some case, it's a bug. But thanks for the info :) Anyway, I seem to have fixed it, this command did the job: $.skin.always_deform = false
