Not a shock at all. These guys clearly didn't have any experience in the gaming field. Anyone in a modding community knows perfectly well how these projects take so much time and effort. This project was too ambitious for their optimistic release date. Setting a release date was their biggest mistake, but setting it so early was just foolish. And yeah, mix in all the legal issues and whatnot. I say leave the remastering to the people that know the game the best, the original devs (or a legit company), or the modding community.

In terms of creating both textures, it would make more sense to start with the original KOTOR 1 texture. Otherwise he'd probably be backtracking if starting with a scuffed up, dirty one. I'm sure he'd release both at the same time or soon after one another, so no need to worry about getting one before the other.

Yep, a high quality T3 would be awesome. Though he has a different skin in both games, you could easily "rough" up the KOTOR 1 one to make it look like it does in TSL.

The most you'll get are texture and model updates. The graphics and engine can't be changed without the source code and a lot of time. Lots of texture updates though, go look in the downloads section, under the Skins category.

Well, mods aren't compatible with the iOS version without a jailbreak, but I imagine the Android version would support it fine.

I think that meant not to install to the Override manually, and let the installer take care of it for you. But I could be wrong.

Perhaps. We were curious if you'd like to become part of the JKHub Network bar, which is the bar at the top of our site and many other sites. Basically a link back system to keep the community in touch and easy to find related websites and such. We are also considering bringing back our old Links Directory which will be more suited for this, which has related websites that aren't necessarily JKA-specific. You could do something similar and link back to us and sites such as Filefront, etc.

They're not bad at all. Obviously they won't be as good as a mouse and keyboard, but for a touch screen, they are pretty good.

I have KOTOR on my iPhone and iPad, and it's extremely smooth and surprisingly works well. It's made me want to play through multiple times since I bought it. Though you can't use mods unless you jailbreak, you can still use KSE. It was fun to play through without any mods or cheats, which I hadn't done in years. I really hope they port TSL to Mac and iOS.

I've noticed your Jedi Knight section is very lacking, which is actually a good thing since you'd need permission to upload all those mods.
