Ha, I’m just thinking out loud. Thinking out-typing. Type-thinking? Hmm.

Yeah, I may be using ”must” a bit loosely there. ”Be ready to” does sound better. I’m just having some difficulty in wrapping my mind around the idea of someone turning evil because they believe that people should be nice to each other, but admittedly, typing that seems to help. It’s no different than having betrayals so that people could hope, right?

I mean, appreciating is so much milder than betraying.

I would understand ”it isn’t betrayal if you never believed in it in the first place”, but that line gives me a ”if you truly believe in goodness, you must turn evil” feeling... which, admittedly, could make sense in a really twisted way. Hmm.

I end up using them because their functionality, but they do look horrible. And I’m talking about the design, not just the model.

I figured SH meant it would be where ”state of general cynicism” is located in North America?

It’s just that the fact that you need to give game paths every time you boot KTool sounds like a registry issue to me. I’m pretty sure my KTool has never actually worked with manually inputted game paths. I’m not saying it’s the whole problem (although Windows works in mysterious ways), but it could be part of it.

Or Scandinavia?

Unless you meant dvd and not cd? It works the same way nonetheless, you just need to put in the path where your game is installed. I have both KotOR Collection and Steam versions, and the same solution works for both.

Well, the point for the fix pretty much is that KTool looks for the cd version’s registry keys. You simply put in the paths to your Steam’s game installation.

Depends on your game version, really. KTool looks for the game paths from the Windows’ registry, and most of the game versions apparently don’t add them the way it expects. You’ll need to add them yourself if that’s the case.

Have you set up the registry entries?

No releases from my end, sorry. I don't have permission for such, and even if I would, it'd still have a plethora of issues that I haven't fixed - voiceovers cutting out early weren't high on my priority list when there were really game-breaking ones blocking my progress.

Probably, since I remember completing the quest, but frankly - it's been some years, I have no idea what I did and what I didn't.

I have played it, although in the end, I simply ended up fixing bugs that annoyed me too much.
