I was worrying about how I could explain my new NPC's backstory conflicting with TSL timeline, but then I noticed that there is an unused Kreia line in game files that explains that. I must be on the right track here.
"These Jedi left the Order to find their own truth, and no one knows where these Lost Jedi wander now", or something like that. I can't remember it perfectly and am unable to check it right now, as my game installation is on a different computer than my internet connection.
