WARNING: This Skin is intended to be used with another mod! Read the Installation section to follow instructions. The Mod intended is N-Drew's "Build a Calo" Mod. It can be found on DeadlyStream Description: With the release of N-Drew's "Build a Calo" mod, it would be fitting for someone to make a skin that describes a "damaged" Calo Nord. That's what I've done. I've given Calo some not too major burns on his face, and made his pants dusty and his jacket burned as well. With the addition of giving a "damaged" reskin, I've also upscaled the textures by 4x. Installation: Install N-Drew's mod first: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2444-build-a-calo/ Follow the instructions given in the mods description! Afterwards, Copy all the files in the "Override" folder after extracting the .zip this mod is in to the Override folder in your Kotor game directory. Overwrite when/if prompted. IF USING N-DREW'S MOD: Make sure when you install N-Drew's mod, you install it with both Head and Body modifications. If NOT USING N-DREW'S MOD AND WISH TO USE THESE TEXTURES AS NORMAL: Change the "02" in each of the files name to "01" UnInstalling: Delete the files included with this mod, and replace with the files from n-drew's or another modders texture. Compatability: Compatible with everything but other mods that make the same changes as these mods. Listed as Not Compatible with K1R, because of it's intended use with a non compatible mod. Credits: GIMP JC and DarthParametric in DeadlyStream discord for giving advice on the stuff used in the .txi Bioware for making Kotor. N-Drew for making "Build A Calo", which makes the intention of this reskin possible. Permissions: Do Not include this in your own mod without my permission. Do not claim it as your own. Do not reupload to any other sites without my permission. Known Issues: Possible there may be some rendering issues due to the .txi's included with the mod, if so, remove from override. Legal: THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT, LUCASARTS, DISNEY OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 22.03.2024 Pre-Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! If you plan on using any of JCarter426's Cloaked Jedi Robe mods, please ensure that his mods are installed before Build a Calo. This mod is divided into two versions, the "Normal Versions" which uses the vanilla Calo Nord model and the "JC's Cloaked Robe Compatible version" which uses JC's Calo Nord hotfix model. If you plan on using the Cloaked Robes, install that mod before Build a Calo and use the "JC's Cloaked Robe Compatible version" of this mod, if you don't plan on using those mods then please use the "normal version" instead. Installation: Simply click on the INSTALL.exe and you'll be given two install options. "Calo Nord Head & Body" will allow you to modify Calo Nord's head & body post-Taris. "Calo Nord Body Only" will only allow you to modify Calo Nord's body post-Taris. This means the head texture you use on Taris will also appear post-Taris. Calo Nord's post-Taris appearance will now use the skin "N_CaloNord02.tga" in the Override and "N_CaloNordH02.tga" if you used "Calo Nord Head & Body". Once you've selected your desired option, click install then sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. If you do nothing after installing this mod, Calo Nord will use SpaceAlex's brown outfit post-Taris from the K1EP. You can install the "N_CaloNord02.tga" texture from the Optional Black Outfit folder to make Calo Nord's post-Taris outfit use Watcher07's black outfit (the same one recommended on the Kotor Mod Build website). You can download other Calo Nord textures & rename them to make them work with Build a Calo. For example, if you download "Quanon's Calo Nord Skin" you can install the "GameLook" option first and this will replace Calo's appearance on Taris. If you open "QSLook" and rename the following files, placing these renamed files in the Override will instead replace Calo's appearance post-Taris: N_CaloNord01.tga -------> N_CaloNord02.tga N_CaloNord01.txi -------> N_CaloNord02.txi N_CaloNordH01.tga -------> N_CaloNordH02.tga N_CaloNordH01.txi -------> N_CaloNordH02.txi This feature is intended to be customizable, instead of using Quanon's "GameLook" for Taris and "QSLook" post-Taris you can have it be reversed, or you could have Emperor Turnip's HD Calo Nord textures. Just remember to have the Taris skins set to 01 with the post-Taris skins set to 02 as shown above. And remember, N_CaloNordH02.tga will ONLY work with the "Calo Nord Head & Body" installation option. Description: Calo Nord is a bounty hunter in Kotor who is iconic for his colorful attire. Throughout the years, mods have sprung up which alter Calo Nord's appearance by changing the overall color scheme of his outfit or by changing his entire style, in the early to late 2000s these modded skins used the default 512x512 resolution whilst newer mods made in the late 2010s & beyond use higher texture resolutions to add more detail to the skins. 2024 is the year which saw the release of N-DReW25's take on the character with his "Build a Calo" mod. Breaking with the tradition of crafting a new skin to add to the collection of other Calo Nord skins which have come & gone, I've instead chosen to craft an elaborate little mod which uses other people's Calo Nord reskins in a way never before seen. The way "Build a Calo" works is that Calo Nord will appear on Taris with one set appearance, whilst after Taris he's wearing a different outfit. If you install this mod & boot up the game, Calo will wear his blue outfit on Taris whilst after Taris he'll wear a new brown outfit from the defunct K1 Enhancement Pack. If you choose to install the "Optional Black Outfit" AFTER installing Build a Calo, you'll have Calo use Watcher07's reskin (the same one from Snigaroo's Kotor Mod Build) after Taris. Now, if you look at the screenshots on the Build a Calo mod page, you'll see that it's possible to install "Quanon's Calo Nord Skin" found on Deadlystream with the "Gamelook" version appearing on Taris whilst the "QsLook" version appearing after Taris. Before Build a Calo, you'd have to pick either "Gamelook" or "QsLook"... it was one or the other, but with Build a Calo you can now have both. With this mod, you "Build" Calo Nord to your liking. Do you want to use both of Quanon's Calo Nord skins at once? Would you rather swap Quanon's Calo Nord skins so "QsLook" appears on Taris whilst "Gamelook" appears after Taris? Do you want to use Watcher07's black reskin on Taris whilst Calo uses the brown K1EP reskin after Taris? Will you install the "Calo Nord Head & Body" version of Build a Calo and use Quanon's skins to change both Calo's outfit & head? Or will you customise Calo Nord even further? Would you rather install "Calo Nord Body Only" version of Build a Calo & use Quanon's "Gamelook" version of Calo Nord's head on both Taris & after whilst his body uses Emperor Turnip's HD Calo Nord outfit texture on Taris and Quanon's "QsLook" texture after Taris? Or will new mods be published after Build a Calo? Maybe some new HD texutres for Calo Nord in the future may also be used alongside Build a Calo, maybe someone could make a "battle damaged" version of Calo Nord which can be used with this mod for his appearance after Taris. The possibilities are endless! Known Bugs: If there are bugs feel free to report them to me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Incompatible with any mods that change Calo Nord's model & character files post-Taris. Please report any incompatibilities! Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. You are more then welcome to talor your Calo Nord reskins to be used alongside Build a Calo if you wish. Thanks to: SpaceAlex: For releasing his K1 Enhancement Project as a modder's resource & for making the Calo Nord reskin included in said mod! Watcher07: For making the Calo Nord Recolor mod! Quanon: Whilst I did not use your skin in my mod, your Calo Nord reskins inspired me to make this mod in the first place! JCarter426: For creating the Cloaked Robes mod & the hotfix for Calo Nord to make his character model work with the new supermodels of that mod. His hotfix for Calo Nord was included in Build a Calo for the sake of compatibility between our mods! Bioware: For such an amazing game! Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool! Stoffee: For TSLPatcher! Everyone who downloads the mod! Legal: THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT, LUCASARTS, DISNEY OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. 1 pointYou could do starting conditional checks for the player having DS powers like choke or lightning so you could just off him directly in dialogue, like Uthar does to Shaardan if you give him a fake sword. Killing him with a weapon could probably also be done directly in the scene, although in my experience that's always a little flaky.

1 pointHey everyone! After a long hiatus, I'm officially back. I'm in the process of updating file info now that I'm reuploading mods to another site. If anyone's received multiple notifications for the same file update... yeah, really sorry about that. I have ADHD so I forget minor details and I'm also a perfectionist. Really not a good combo. I look forward to catching up and seeing what I've been missing out on.

0 pointsI'm sure many of us play the Kotor 1 Community Patch (K1CP), it's the 4th most downloaded mod on Deadlystream after all! And I'm sure many of us might also know that the K1CP isn't compatible with the Kotor 1 Restoration (K1R mod)... you might be wondering, why is that? K1R is similar to it's K2 cousin, TSLRCM, in that it restores cut content, fixes bugs in the vanilla game and it expects you to install it first and any other mods installed afterwards need to be made compatible with it. But K2 was rushed, Obsidian was forced to leave content unfinished and cut the rest to make way to make way for a release before the 2004 Christmas sales... this not only gutted much of the plot but it also left a plethora of bugs upon release. TSLRCM undoes all of this by restoring much of Obsidian's intended content for early 2005 and fixing many of the game breaking bugs. K1, on the other hand, wasn't like this. What was cut by Bioware was stuff that most players agree was *actually* cut for a good reason, and the bugs in the vanilla game weren't nearly as bad as they were in vanilla K2. In K1R's "prime" from its full release in 2015 until K1CP's first release in 2018, K1R competed with many mods that were incompatible with it such as Kainzorus Prime's NPC Overhaul Mod... and since all K1R had to offer was minor and controversial restored content and minor bug fixes many players, including myself, opted for the much better incompatible mods. With the release of K1R's 1.2 update, there have been a handful of critical bugs in the mod with some capable of breaking the game. This would normally be fixed by the Dev Team behind the mod, but one by one the original K1R Devs left the Kotor Community with only 2 K1R Devs remaining in the community. The mod's leader, ZM90, also vanished... without him, it's impossible to update K1R as he's the one who hosts it, more importantly, we can't obtain permission to update K1R or use assets from K1R. With K1R being seen as undesirable by many and with no hope of it ever being fixed, the developers of the newly emerging K1CP mod abandoned K1R compatibility... just over 5 years later and K1R has become a obsolete relic of the past whilst the K1CP has become the ultimate bug fix mod for K1 standing alongside TSLRCM in importance (Not anywhere near as close, TSLRCM is still King... but its far superior to K1R). Some modders might still make their mods K1R compatible, but I don't bother since K1R has those before mentioned game breaking bugs... why on earth would I put in the effort to make my mods K1R compatible if your game is guaranteed to break because you installed K1R? I'd much rather focus on K1CP compatibility as their dev team is active, are willing to fix bugs with their mod and are still working to this day to fix more vanilla bugs. So this creates a problem... many of us play K1CP, but we can't have Restored Content due to K1CP being incompatible with K1R, and no one can update K1R as the original K1R Devs have abandoned the community... so how do we update K1R? How do we get K1CP compatible with K1R if K1CP Devs refuse to do it? My answer: forget K1R... The K1 Community Patch has already taken the mantle of the "main Kotor mod" from K1R and we can't change that, but we can work with this! This thread is a WIP thread for an upcoming mod, one that you will install after the K1CP mod, one that will restore Kotor 1's cut content whilst having K1CP and it's many, many bug fixes installed! I present to you: Restored Content for the K1 Community Patch or RC-K1CP for short! Now we have to keep our expectations in check... this is currently a one man project, and I alone cannot recreate K1R in its entirety from scratch... though I can, however, restore much of the lesser restored content like impossible difficulty before working my way up to the big leagues like the Vulkar Sublevel. Much of what can be restored is limited to my own modding abilities, so if I can't restore the Vulkar Sublevel constantly requesting it won't make me restore it... it'll be restored when I'm able to restore it, and if that time is not now it'll be some time in the future. You might be wondering; won't this impact the development of my NPC Overhaul mod development? The answer is no... that is because the first release of the RC-K1CP Demo is ready for release! In the coming week or two, I'm planning on releasing some screenshots from the mod to demonstrate what the mod has thus far alongside a YouTube video of an ambitious restoration. Once these are posted here, I shall release the RC-K1CP Demo here on Deadlystream for you to try out! Updates for the RC-K1CP shall be done in two ways; they shall be done in either content updates which adds restorations and bug fix updates which fixes bugs with the mods. As with any other mods, I'd like for players to be ever vigilant for possible bugs and to report any if bugs do arise! RC-K1CP does not follow the same "rules" as K1R and TSLRCM did, so you might see some restored content K1R avoided or never knew existed... so keep that in mind! With release version 0.1.0, you shall enjoy the following restorations from the RC-K1CP. And lastly, there are some things you might consider 'cut content' which might be added to the RC-K1CP. If this cut content was found in pre-release screenshots between 2001-early 2003 before the games release it could be added to the K1 Pre-Release Pack instead and if it's from the XBOX version but was cut from the PC version it might be added to the Knights of the Old XBOX mod (which is due for an update anyway). What do we think? Do you have any suggestions or recommendations? Anything you dislike in K1R you don't want to see in RC-K1CP?

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 14.05.2023 Installation: Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Description: The Sith Governor is an NPC you encounter towards the end of Taris, in the vanilla game he uses the 'Dark Jedi Apprentice' appearance which is seen throughout the game as a generic enemy. The appearance of the Dark Jedi Apprentice NPCs is very similar to the appearance of Darth Bandon, an NPC you find later on in the game. Whilst the game doesn't explicitly say this, we can assume that the Sith Governor NPC is a non-Tarisian foreigner who was appointed to his position by his superior Dark Jedi. The Governor mentions he doesn't yet own a Lightsaber, suggesting he's only an Apprentice. Dialogue with various NPCs across Taris suggests that the Sith Governor is the absolute dictator of the Sith occupation on Taris as he most likely signs up any law the Tarisians have to abide by and has the absolute authority to do whatever action he wants to govern his planet. For an NPC with such authority on Taris, why would he look like every other Dark Jedi Apprentice you see in the game? And since the Dark Jed Apprentice looks like Darth Bandon, it lessens the 'impact' both NPCs have on the player. You see the Sith Governor... he isn't unique, he looks like Darth Bandon! You see Darth Bandon... he isn't anything special, he looks like that weak Sith Governor. This mod was requested by the user "Sniggles", the one who maintains the Kotor Mod Builds on Reddit, to fix that problem. With this mod installed, the Sith Governor shall wear a unique Sith Governor's uniform based on the vanilla Sith Officer uniform and shall have a unique head model capable of displaying the mask item he wears making his appearance totally unique from Darth Bandon. This mod was originally going to be included as part of a bigger Sith Officer uniform mod, though with the prospect of Sniggles adding it to the Kotor Mod Builds and the fact some players might prefer this small mod over a big Sith Officer mod, I have since decided to release this feature separately. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. If the player and/or party is wearing a mask item, it is possible that the Sith Governor's mask item might be rendered invisible. This is a bug in the Game's engine and cannot be fixed. Incompatibilities: Please report any incompatibilities! If you have "Invisible Headgear" installed the Sith Governor's mask shall also be invisible. Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. As per Heyorange's readme, assets from the Sith Uniform mod are free to use as long as Heyorange is properly credited. Thanks to: Heyorange: For creating the Sith Uniform Reformation mod, for which the Sith Governor's uniform is based on! Sniggles: For requesting the mod! Bioware: For such an amazing game! Obsidian: For giving Colonel Tobin a Dark Side transition, this skin was used as a basis for the Sith Governor's Dark Side transition!
