====================================================== A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION ====================================================== AUTHOR: Darth Shan EMAIL: schenkhaupt@yahoo.com NAME: K1 Bastila Romance Glitch Fix SPECIAL CREDITS: 1) Master Kavar for letting me include his Bastila dialogue from "Bastila and Female PC Untold Love Story" 2) Shem for letting me include his "Helena Bastila's Mother Clothing Fix" 3) The "Brotherhood of Shadow" mod for pointing me to the bug which causes the Helena Shan subquest to break FILENAME: basty_fix_final.rar FILE SIZE: 206 kB DATE RELEASED: 01/24/2008 - final revision 31/05/2016 DESCRIPTION: BASTILA GLITCH FIX PROPER This mini-mod fixes a long-known glitch in Kotor 1 which results in obliterating the romance with Bastila Shan. I updated some files and checked the scripts for version 2. This is supposed to be the final version of this simple glitch fix. HELENA SHAN HOTFIX This mod also fixes a major bug which has been introduced by another mod, the "Quest for TK102's Birthday Party". This mod MAY cause Helena Shan, Bastila's mother to never appear in the whole game. If you encounter problems, just use the "Helena Shan Hotfix". Now go to the Tatooine Cantina and talk to the barkeeper. He'll tell you, Helena was a regular customer - and spawn her for you to talk to. [Alternatively, there is a more elegant solution: Download and install the excellent mod "Brotherhood of Shadows" AND the Patch 1.06 (essential) on top of TK102-Quest. Then use the files from the Resource folder of this mod.] INSTALLATION: There are three folders here. 1) Drag and drop the files from the OVERRIDE folder into your game directory's Override folder. This is the glitch fix. Now, you're basically done. 2) If you encounter problems meeting Helan Shan in the Cantina on Tatooine, after the quest has triggered with Bastila and Malare, you may use the "Helena Shan Hotfix". Now you are able to talk to Junix, the barkeeper, to have Helena Shan meet you ASAP. 3) The Resources. This contains resources for modders as well as files to ensure compatibility with other mods. a) Master Kavar's "Female Revan Untold Love Story". If you have this mod, use the file for your own Override folder. If you use it you will encounter some issues. There are omissions from the original dialogue with Bastila, and all animations and camera angles have been completely deleted. This is due to a bug with an earlier version of the dialogue editor. "The Brotherhood of Shadow" and "Quest for TK102's Birthday". If you have both mods, use the files from this folder. If you've got only the Brotherhood, use none. If you've got only TK102's Birthday party, then - I think - you may still use these files (the "contact" from the Brotherhood mod just won't appear, and that's it). But the latter has not been tested. c) Unaltered files from the game to investigate how the romance has been made up by Bioware. d) Documentation of the glitch fix serving as a small introduction to scripting as well. Enjoy. BUGS: None encountered, yet. The common strategy for players to avoid the glitch has been not to talk to Bastila again after kissing her. This has, of course, the same effect as removing the script attached to the dialogue - i.e. it does not change anything compared to the strategy of not talking to Basty. If there are issues, just mail me. Changelog - archive folder structure cleaned up - proper implementation of the Helena-Shan-Hotfix - Helena Shan dialogue option for Junix in the Tatooine Cantina only if Malare has talked to you - Helena now spawns in the correct position - Helena may not be spawned in multiple instances - fix for the "Quest for tk102's birthday", interfering with the Helena Shan sidequest GENERAL CREDITS: 1. JdNoA for DeNCS. 2. Fred Tetra, the Great Extractor. 3. t102 for the superb dialogue editor. 4. Bioware for creating Bastila Shan, Jedi empress. PERMISSIONS: You may use the glitch fix ("k_hbas_dialog.dlg" from the folder "OVERRIDE") in any way you wish. YOU MAY NOT USE NEITHER THE OTHER FILES NOR THE FILES FROM "RESOURCE>Override" (any two of them). If you want to use "g_malare" and/or "helena.utc" you have to ask Shem for permission. If you want the file from the folder "Override (Master Kavar)" you have to ask Master Kavar for permission. THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. USE OF THIS FILE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPANIES OR THE AUTHOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR THE USAGE OF THIS FILE. Updates will only come, when I am able to provide savegames (I am stuck after the Citadel, because I have not had time to go through the game twice.)

Sexy Female Companions Pack (Abridged) THIS IS AN ABRIDGED MOD. The full mod contains additional underwear options for all female companions. The full version of the mod is on Nexusmods under the name "Sexy Female Companions Pack". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sexy Clothing and Underwear Retexture Pack for Female Companions Bastila Mission and Juhani Description: This mod provides sexy retextures for the female companions in kotor; Bastila, Mission, and Juhani. There are multiple clothing and underwear options for each character. Installation: Navigate to the desired texture through the folders and put the .tga file in your kotor Override folder Unistallation: Delete the corresponding files from your kotor Override folder Compatibility: Naturally this mod cannot be used at the same time as another retexture of the same clothing or underwear. Also, it may not work with any mod which enhances the associated models (I do not know of any). Otherwise there should not be any issues unless there is a mod which I am unaware of which changes the "appearance.2da" file in such a way that an associated model or texture is different from the original game. Permissions Please do not use or upload this mod elsewhere without permission, which will probably be given if asked I can be contacted through DeadlyStream or NexusMods. My username for both is limpingfox. Special thanks for: Kotor Tool by Fred Tetra MDLOps by Chuck Chargin Jr.

Because your AV is garbage. Check out a comparison on Virus Total. A heuristic detection is basically a wild guess that an executable might be malicious due to the way it works. False positives are common for low-end AV shovelware. The red flag that caused the detection here is likely due to wrapping the program as a single exe. This is apparently a problem for Holocron Toolset as well. It's a downside of using Python.

This mod replaces the vanilla and/or the installed placeables texture with the specularity-tweaked vanilla placeables texture. # Background # The primary motivation of this mod is to get the most of vanilla textures, by tweaking their alpha channel to have them showing their best shades and reflections. # About this Mod # Inside this version are 13 specularity-tweaked vanilla placeables textures. # Final Remarks # This mod performs at best with the vanilla state of the game, particularly with area textures. As all the assets inside this mod are using vanilla textures that was extracted using the KotOR Tool. Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- just PM me or write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: I suggest you to manually removes any TGA/DDS files inside the 'Override' folder that are using the same name with the files that comes with the mod first. Because if they're on TGA/DDS, the installer can not patch them. But if they were on TPC or you are running a clean install playthrough, you could just run the installer straight-forwardly [TSLPatcher.exe]- as any files with the same name will be backed-up automatically. Uninstallation: Remove the installed files from the 'Override" folder or replaces them with the files stored in the 'Backup' folder [if generated]. Compatibility: Will not be compatible with any mods that using the same name for the assets. This mod perform at best with the vanilla state of the game, particularly with the area textures. As all the assets inside the mod are using vanilla textures that was extracted using the KotOR Tool. Redistribution: You can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website; you don't have to ask for permission, but I do appreciate all the good intention. Also, if you are planning to use the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, don't forget to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts, as inside this mod are their base assets. Anyway, a credit to me is always a welcome, welcome. Credits: DarthParametric for the past-present knowledge which allows me to create any customs for the game. Fred Tetra for the 'amazing' KotOR Tool. bead-v and ndix UR for the MDLedit. ndix UR again, for the tga2tpc. stoffe and Fair Strides for the TSLPatcher setup. All streamers on DeadlyStream which indirectly involved on this project that I couldn't possibly mentioned one by one. All modders either active or inactive. KOTOR features several conversations between party members which occur as you explore the various planets. Unfortunately, it is easy to miss some of them if you rarely use certain combinations of characters, such as Carth with Canderous or Bastila with Jolee. This mod moves these conversations to the Ebon Hawk and the Taris apartment hideout similar to KOTOR 2, guaranteeing that you can see nearly every conversation in a single playthrough. Conversations which directly refer to Taris are set to take place while you are still there, while the remaining conversations will occur in semi-random order up until (or possibly slightly after) the Leviathan sequence. Aside from the change in location, I have also made some slight edits to the conversations themselves, mainly relating to the timing of character animations. By default, conversations will also still occur on the various planets like in the vanilla game. They will only occur at the Ebon Hawk/hideout as required to catch you up on any that you may have missed. I have also provided an option to make the conversations happen only at the Ebon Hawk/hideout, never out on the planets. If you are using version 1.1 or earlier of this mod, a rare issue has been reported where the conversation in the Taris apartment after the swoop race does not play like it is supposed to. If this happens to you, I have provided a hotfix for download which may be used with existing installations. The separate hotfix is not required if you are installing version 1.2, which already includes the fix. Thank you for downloading, and I hope you enjoy this mod! ------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION Run INSTALL.exe and select either the standard version or the KOTOR 1 Community Patch compatible version. If you would like the conversations to take place only at the Ebon Hawk/hideout, run INSTALL.exe again and select "OPTION: Ebon Hawk/Hideout Only". If you have other mods installed, it is normal to see warnings that ebo_m12aa.mod and/or tar_m02af.mod already exist and have been skipped. ------------------------------------------------------------------- COMPATIBILITY This mod is compatible with the KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) and incorporates its fixes to k_pebn_pophawk.ncs. It has not been tested with the KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R), but in theory it should be compatible. It is not compatible with any mods that edit k_pebn_pophawk.ncs or banter.dlg. For best results, install this mod after K1CP, K1R, or any other mods that make significant edits to the Ebon Hawk interior or to the Taris apartment hideout. ------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS NWNSSCOMP by Torlack and tk102 DeNCS by JdNoa and Dashus K-GFF by tk102 DLGEditor by tk102 TSL Patcher by stoffe and Fair Strides ERFEdit by stoffe and Fair Strides Kotor Tool by Fred Tetra This mod includes fixes to k_pebn_pophawk.nss which were developed by the K1CP team. Thanks to everyone who participated in the original thread for their discussion, which provided a major source of inspiration. ------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION HISTORY 1.0 - Initial Release 1.1 - Revised installation process and options - Revised the walk scripts in the Mission/Bastila conversation so that they do not need to be compiled during installation - Adjusted the camera angles the Mission/Bastila conversation - Adjusted the conditions for determining when conversations play before and after the Leviathan sequence - Added an extended fade to hide the party fading out and reappearing when entering the Ebon Hawk or Taris apartment - Revised implementation of edits to tar02_bastvision.dlg to reduce incompatibilities with other mods that edit the same file (i.e. K1CP 1.10). - Cleaned up and clarified comments in the script source files 1.2 - Added additional conditions to the Taris apartment entry script to prevent a rare issue where the vanilla conversation after "rescuing" Bastila did not occur. Thanks to PoopaPapaPalpatine for reporting the issue and testing the fix. 1.2.1 - Added additional conditions to the Ebon Hawk entry script to prevent a rare issue where the cutscenes before landing on Dantooine for the first time did not occur and the game softlocked. Thanks to CapitaineSpoque for reporting the issue and testing the fix. ------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER AND PERMISSIONS This modification is provided as-is and is not supported by Disney, Lucasarts, or Bioware. Bastila on Korriban - K1R Version By Fair Strides Description: This is an old favorite of many players, and now we've simply made a K1R version that "meshes" better with the game. Though I honestly don't see a difference that broke the old mod with K1R, I did think it could be done in a way that wasn't as jarring. In the old version, Bastila was selectable despite saying that she wouldn't be going. In this version, you can choose to have her available or not. There are only two new player lines and no voice-less Bastila lines. Installation: Simply run the TSLPatcher and direct it to your KotOR 1 folder. Uninstallation: Delete the following files from your Override folder: k_sup_galaxymap.ncs fs_bast_disable.ncs ebo_bast_vision.dlg And replace the dialog.tlk file in your main KotOR folder with the dialog.tlk file in the backup folder made by the TSLPatcher.
