Back on the subject of porting, I've started putting a bit of a modders resource together, porting some of the alien species added in TSL back to K1. I've fully ported the Gand and Sullustan over so far: More to come. Just thought I'd post a little update incase anyone cares!

Description: This Yassifies Carth. It gives him Baby Smooth Skin, Removes his facial hair, and gives him some makeup. Installation: Put the files from Yassified Carth into your Override Folder in your swkotor directory Permissions: Do not use this in your own mod without my permission. Do not Upload this anywhere else and/or take credit for it. Compatiblity: Not compatible with anything that edits Carth's head or portrait. I recommend using this mod here and choosing one of the recolored variants of Carth's Clothing to go with his newly Glammed face! https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2143-different-colors-for-carths-clothing-10/

When the Sith capture your party on the Leviathan, they are a little too thorough about confiscating your gear. In addition to taking your weapons, armor, and credits, they also take your clothes. This mod makes it so that the player and the party will wear their clothes during the interrogation and breakout sequences. There are two basic installation options: Option A: Basic Clothes - Everyone wears their basic starting clothes. Option B: Robes - The player will be allowed to keep the robes they were wearing immediately prior to capture (except for the Qel-Droma Robes). If the player was not wearing robes, the basic brown Jedi robes will be worn instead. If those are unavailable for some reason, the player will wear their basic clothes like Option A. The rest of the party will still wear their basic clothes regardless. If you are using "All Hands on Deck for the Leviathan Prison Break" by DarthParametric, I have also provided separate, compatible installation options. Thank you for downloading, and I hope you enjoy this mod! ------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION If you are using DarthParametric's "All Hands on Deck..." mod, install it first. Then, run INSTALL.exe and select one of the "'All Hands...' Compatible" options. Otherwise, run INSTALL.exe and select either of the "Typical Installation" options. ------------------------------------------------------------------- COMPATIBILITY This mod is compatible with: - KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) - KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R) - "Party on the Leviathan!" by Fair Strides - "All Hands on Deck for the Leviathan Prison Break" by DarthParametric (see above for special installation instructions) For best results, if you are using these or any other mods that affect the Leviathan, install them before this mod ------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS NWNSSCOMP by Torlack and tk102 DeNCS by JdNoa and Dashus K-GFF by tk102 TSL Patcher by stoffe and Fair Strides ERFEdit by stoffe and Fair Strides Kotor Tool by Fred Tetra This mod includes fixes to k_plev_transfrm1.ncs which were developed by the K1CP team. The Toydarian is now fully working in K1 as well: The wings work perfectly ingame, both screenshots just happen to have been taken with the wings in roughly the same position. They look/work exactly like in TSL. I'll include both the version with the hat and the hatless one when I release the resource.

The vanilla M4-78 textures upscaled twice with A.I. software waifu2x-caffe. I've left out the txi files that only had "xbox_downsample 256", those were left overs from the old Xbox version. DRO_Ehok.tga is the Ebon Hawk exterior, specific for the droid planet. If you prefer another version of the Hawk's exterior then you may want to replace it. I've included upscaled versions of 2 CM files that some of the txi's call upon. Requested by some old guy on an obscure website.

As far as the camera is concerned, I think it does add a level of eery anticipation to the scene. The floating camera gives it an ethereal quality & it cues the audience into something being wrong before any dialogue is spoken. I do understand the frustration with the camera movement, but there's something atmospheric I love about build up it creates, especially combined with the music. Something that might fix it would be if instead of the stiff movements, the camera was instead slowly rotating towards the cockpit throughout the movement? So you start with the camera in the same spot & it begins moving along the same path, but instead of jerky, stop\start, it would instead gracefully ease along the path, rotating until it eventually settles on the map panel. It's a bit hard to describer without showing, but I hope that the general idea has been communicated. In any case, I think the scene is better with it than not, personally.
