About This File

WARNING:
You must download all seven (7) parts of the BoS 1.0 before trying to unpack them. The unpacker should unpack them all in a row if you start unpacking the .part01.rar file!!!

A note about the 1.5 bundled release:

The 1.5 bundled release has some bugs fixed, but it is also in preparation for an eventual 2.0 release that will only have 1 installer. This 1.5 release still has both the 1.0 and the 1.1 downloads, so you will need to download both files.

Bugs fixed by this bundled release are listed below.

This pack includes several fixes for BoS:SR, done by LiliArch. Source files included.

Howdy folks... was just wondering if anyone knew how to bypass / correct this unhandles exception during the installation of Brotherhood of shadow Solomons revenge ... Apparently after working for every other part of the process but seems the path doesn't like it.  I'll make a thread on the forum to and keep this updated if I find a solution.

I get an unhandled exception
• Error: Unhandled exception: Cannot create file "G:\REdirected docs\DLs\bos_sr_1.0\backup\modules\ship.mod". The system cannot find the path specified

Unsure how to remedy that as it's unable to find a path it's creating?

Okay so after making the modules folder i get the same basic error but relating to \modules\ship_tmp\alienchatting.dlg". The system cannot find the path specified (0)

And yes I made the ship_tmp folder also to no avail.

Okay so it seems to be something to do with a file I cannot find anywhere in the archive or elsewhere called alienchatting.dlg
It's not in the 1.1 patch or the 1.0 files

The ship.mod bug can be fixed through making a "modules" folder on backup, however, I am also having the alienchatting.dlg bug, it doesn't seem to be in the files

Just a heads-up. If you try running the installer after getting the unhandled exception error and DON'T uninstall to the point before starting it, (IE before you ran the installer), then it may create duplicate entries in the 2da and JRL files.

I ran it twice after getting the error the first time, and had to go through manually and delete the extra entries. Easily remedied by replacing the 2da files with those in the TLSPatchData Unless you have installed K1R already.

Also, since the installer crashed, it had no time to make a backup folder, and thus my original files were gone or altered.

(Sorry to double-post)

It seems the patch 1.1 also crashed with an unhandled exception.

Missing add.ncs according to the installog.

this is honestly just extremely buggy.

Anything I can do to get around crashes every 5 minutes or so?

The game literally won't let me progress through Taris's storyline at this point

How do I extract the files for this mod?

You use WinRar or 7-zip.

No, you just need the changes.ini slightly edited.

If you are running the game with crashed installation, you are surely just asking for problems.

For everyone, Read. This. Seriously.

I have BOSSR 1.5 installed and it works fine until the last planet before I get to the Leviathan. However, when I get tractored towards the flagship, and you usually get the scene where you plan your escape. Instead, I get tractored towards the ship and before I get to that scene, Bastila says, "This isn't over, Malak!" and I am still on the Ebon Hawk, with no scene, just walking around and normal dialog. Is there a fix for this?
