About This File

Hey there everyone! First off, thanks for downloading my mod! I really appreciate every fan that I have out there, so thanks again!

This is TSLRCM compatible.

Alright, who cares about introductions right? Let's get right down to what this mod is. So, I added 51 new power crystals to the game. Each one does a couple of special things to your lightsabers that I don't think most people have done. (well, in the sense that I haven't seen anyone really come out with a crystal mod like this.) Anyways… I placed every crystal to pop up in certain situations (i.e: certain dialog options, what classes you choose, etc…) as well as placed them randomly throughout the game.

Well, yeah that's about as much as I can say honestly. I really hope you guys do find this mod pretty interesting. I am a bit too lazy to type out every crystal, with it's stats and what-not. I'll type out the codes (although I REALLY, REALLY want you to find the crystals in-game instead of cheating. If you want to know which crystal code belongs to which, check out my WIP on Deadlystream and look for the numbers after each crystal name.

Anyways, here are the codes!

They're pretty simple, just: rececrstl200 all the way to 250.

Here's a little sneak peak at how some of the crystals work:

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

There are two ways, depending on which file you downloaded. There's the TSRCM version, and the non-TSLRCM version. They are both easy to install, so yeah. Anyways, just run the TSLPatcher and it'll automatically install every file. For the non-TSLRCM version, you'll just have to cheat all of the items into the game.

UNINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Just remove all of the files from your override, and replace any backups found in the backups folder.

COMPATIBILITY ISSUES:

Unfortunately, this mod is NOT compatible with a mod like SLM. I believe it is for Duplisaber, so that's always good :D

PERMISSIONS:

You may NOT redistribute this mod without my consent. Ask me on any site, like DS, YouTube, Steam, etc… and I will tell you if you can put my mod somewhere else.

And now for my special thanks:

Fair Strides is first and foremost as he is for every one of my mods. I mean, I can't describe how helpful and how much of an awesome guy he is. It's just beyond me that I know someone like him. He helped me with scripts (as with every script that I have to make) as well as help with guiding me through making certain parts of the TSLPatcher. Malkior for some recommendations on crystal names, stats, and descriptions. Akko for suggesting a crystal to me, which I made the description make it seem like it's his crystal :D. Everyone out there who commented on my posts as well as kept up the support. Oh, and thanks Xuul for that comment, I never would have thought you would comment on one of my projects haha. Well, you did make a mod review for my bad mod that I made haha. Anyways…

Enjoy!

SLM uses up every single crystal UTI. Therefore leaving no room for any other mod that changes the CRYSTAL uti's. Also, this is TSLRCM compatible so idk why it says it isn't...

What about modifying the mod so that it replaces a lot of the power crystals instead of adding... Cuz a lot of the vanilla power crystals are practically useless...

Like these:

Nextor
 - Damage +1
   KEEN

Ruusan
 - Wisdom +1
   Charisma +1

Dragite
 - Damage +1
   Constitution +1

Lorrdian Gemstone
 - Blaster Bolt Deflect +3

Rubat
 - Damage +1
   Attack +1

Velmorite
 - Dexterity +1
   KEEN

While not completely useless, they don't really add much... KEEN is a decent feature, but really depends on Critical Strike ability...

Okay, so it's only 6 crystals....

Is this compatible with the Jedi Temple mod?

It depends. Do you know if the jedi temple mod adds any new crystals to the game?

This mod is completely broken at some parts, specifically the 401DXN and 702KOR modules. At 702KOR (The Korriban Academy), it prevents the cutscene from playing when you enter the area, causing Darth Sion and the two Sith Assassins standing next to him to not move from that spot, or trigger the scripts for that area, essentially trapping you in it unless you load an earlier save and remove 702KOR.mod from your module folder. Same with 401DXN, but there it isn't game-breaking because there's nothing preventing progress from that zone, as the exits aren't locked.

Great mod otherwise though. You just need to remove the 401dxn.mod and 702kor.mod files from the module folder after installing, but otherwise it works well. Cheers.

Hmm. That never happened to me when testing. I'll be sure to look into it. Thanks for the info, and thanks for the compliment as well.

I can make a recording of it if you wish. I have other mods installed, but I don't know if they'd interact with yours, given that mods that alter use files not in the Override folder are very rare. The NPC Overhaul mod comes to mind, but that mod doesn't seem to edit .mod files, only the .erf and .rim files in the module folder.

Well, my mod edits the .git files of the .mod files, and with the TSLPatcher, it "edits" the .mod files. But sure, if you could give me a list of mods and a recording, and maybe even the install logs for the other mods (Preferably through PMs so it doesn't take up a lot of space here) that'd be great.

Just encountered same issue as Bereskarn - none of the cutscenes on Dxun would trigger, which, I think, caused bunch of other minor bugs - friendly animals, unable to interact with panel on the crashed ship or the droids, Zhung dialogue not triggering. Removing 401DXN.mod fixed it all.

Seems another person on steam forums had the same issue - http://steamcommunity.com/app/208580/discussions/0/530646080867117981/ - his video pretty much shows what happened to me.

Hope you can find the problem. I love the mod and will definitely keep using it, aside from those two faulty .mod files.

I have found the problem. The problem is that both of those .mod files don't exist in TSLRCM for some reason, so I had to make them myself. I'm confused as to why it would cause all of these problems though, as all I did was add in a simple placeable. I'll see if I can fix this problem. And Those are I think the only two out of the game that are like that...

Yeah, finished the game with no further issues after removing those two files.

I had the same issue with Dxun and just ignored that part, but now the Sith Academy on Korriban is completely broken. Sion is just chillin in the main room (passive, no cutscene) and you can't even interact with the computer. I'd stay away from this mod if anyone is using TSLRCM. Now I gotta figure out which files are causing this mess without breaking my game.

I'd like to know what planet you can find the first crystal in TSL for to know when is better install the MOD.

In other words, is there any crystal in Peragus/Harbinger?

Thx

I'm using TSLRCM + M4-78EP. I haven't reached Korriban yet but identical problems in Dxun.

So, is enough restore the originals "401DXN.mod" and (Probably) "702KOR.mod"?

With the MOD installed, what I did was to remove "401DXN.mod" file from my Modules folder and restore it from the backup folder but that didn't work. I found the same problems happening. After that, I thought that maybe I misunderstood the solution and I removed both ".mod" files from the tslpatchdata folder of the MOD.

After restoring from backups the Modules and Override whole folders, I installed the MOD in that way, without the ".mod" files. It showed me errors (I already was guessing them) related with the ".mod" files but the installation was finished.

Now the game runs normally (at least the first part of Dxun) but I assume I have lost the goods from the MOD in this zone (and probably in the Sith Academy of Korriban).

I really like the crystal in this mod. My only problem is the last crystal, rececrstl250 I met all the prerequisites and it still won't let me use the lightsaber. Any thoughts?
