Guest R2-X2 Posted April 15, 2015 During the last 7-8 days I replayed KotOR completely without any mods at all and went for the full completionist approach, which led me to some bugs, I couldn't find a vanilla bug list and the other thread is for K1R bugs, so I figured I might post it here? Either way: - Canderous' side quest with Jagi has a journal entry that never gets marked as finished if you didn't make Jagi commit suicide, and the same seems to go for Canderous' own entry after that. - On the Unknown World's Ebon Hawk, the smuggler storage has spice again, with sith armor as its icon. Having that spice in your inventory when landing at the Star Forge reactivates the Unfinished Business journal entry. - The Xor bug (didn't trigger Xor until after all the other messengers due to it) - When visiting Korriban again at a later point, there were sounds of lightning and a dying rodian, but nothing to see. When Bastila joins your team at Taris, she gets an normal yellow double saber, but I see that in the KSE Bastila has an item called Bastila's Doublesaber. It is possible to put her saber in the game? LiliArch 115 Posted April 16, 2015 On a sidenote, I think it's not the Shaardan-scene glitching, but a later one, where a Sith student wants to kill the two others (rodian and a female Twi'lek, who then calls for help) in front of the merchant, after you've heard of the medallion you need to get into the Academy (where you can decide if you want to help or just go away, though the Sith doesn't allow you to leave but wants to fight anyway). But yeah. Voice glitch. Canderous' side quest with Jagi has a journal entry that never gets marked as finished if you didn't make Jagi commit suicide, and the same seems to go for Canderous' own entry after that.Canderous' entry actually does get finished. (If you're playing the LS ending, you need to talk to him at Star Forge - Ebon Hawk at Star Forge does the trick, too. While playing the DS ending, it gets closed at the beach.) The biggest problem there is that the journal entry of the after-Jagi-conversation has bigger ID than the journal entries that should come after that when you talk to Canderous, so the quest doesn't update... Given that she gets captured at that point, are you referring to the Dark Side shift at the top of the Temple and getting her back there? And since she's not present for the fourth vision, that part makes sense. As to the list of fixed vanilla bugs, nope. Guest R2-X2 Posted April 18, 2015 I mean that when you visit the 4th planet before getting the star maps of 3 others. I often only stop by at a planet in order to do some side quest, an example: Do Tatooine, go to Manaan for Genoharadan quest, do Kashyyyk, do Korriban, do Manaan (I actually hop planets far more frequently). But when visiting Korriban in that order, you'll have the star map vision, however Bastila won't discuss it with (so in vanilla you also won't get any explanation for her being unable for party selection) you nor will the dialog option to show this vision again appear. But I can totally understand that you want to restore stuff first. However including bugfixes for common bugs would be great, then one would not have to worry about compatibility. The mod you're referring to was completely fan made and has no connection to any cut content. Fair Strides 509 Posted May 14, 2015 Hey guys! Sorry not updating, but things have been goind pretty slow lately around my place as far as modding goes (too busy with IRL stuff). I should have the Pazaak Tourney done by the end of the week, and then it's on to Taris before tying up some loose ends. For Taris, I'm about to play through the Vulkar Base to see what all I need to fix. So, besides the Computer Console on the first floor (need to disable the option for turning off the turrets) and the Vulkar needing lipsynch (this has been done), what other issues are there for the Vulkar Base? Again, still wanting that site's address (It oughta be in your browser history...)... But we aren't adding more planets. This is strictly a restoration, so things like a new planet or party member will not be done. We're only restoring content and in some cases, we have to make the content that was to be there or make some content to bridge the gap and make the restored stuff accessible... Kexikus 995 Posted May 24, 2015 Since you also seem to be fixing vanilla bugs in K1R, I was wondering if the following two are going to be fixed. 1. In vanilla there is no way to get Sandpeople Clothing except for attacking the ones guarding the entry to their territory, where as in the XBox version of the game, you also get the clothing from those random ambushers. I made a fix for that, so I don't really need this one to be included in K1R, but I was wondering anyway, especially since it's different compared to the XBox version. 2. As you probably know, it's possible to kill the giant shark on Manaan but still not get banished from the planet. Now, if you have any sidequests that were not finished before, the quest givers refuse to talk to you, making it impossible to complete the quest. But at the same time, the quest will forever stay in your quest log. My solution would be to simply end those quests when they quest givers refuse to talk to you and actually I thought about making this mod myself, but thought I'd still ask if you want to include something like that.
